Chapter 179 - This Is Not His Love Story.

"Mama..do we have to go?" Alex sits down on the floor while watching Luna sealing the boxes with the duct tape. Half of the items in his house now are already packed into boxes before a delivery truck arrives at their apartment complex.

Luna smile at him, "Well, actually... I kinda love staying here but, guess that dry bread at home is better than roast meat, honey." She stops moving the box to the side and hugs Alex into her embrace.

"We'll start anew. You'll have more friends at the new place and we can-"

Ding dong!

Luna scrunches her eyebrow. "Hm? That's fast." She murmurs and releases Alex from her hug before he went to the door. "Baby, go upstairs."

Alex nods his head run upstairs, helping Lily to put her things inside the boxes in her room.

When the door is open, Luna's eyes widen. "Jay?!" She was surprised to see the man standing in front of her right now with a suite and 'wow…a bow tie?'

"Ma'am, I am here today as Alex's personal butler and.." He lifted a briefcase on his right hands. "A letter of divorce agreement from Mr. Wayne."

Luna's heart sting for a moment before she pulls a smile on her face. "Come on in. But, why you wearing these clothes? I mean, why be a butler?" She leads him to the living hall.

Jamal observing all the boxes on the floor and half of the house looks empty. "I am now working as Alex's butler. It's on the agreement." He said and handed her a letter of the divorce agreement that has been signed by Raymond.

Luna inhales deeply before she slowly takes the letter from Jamal. Read half of the content before she averts her eyes toward the man in front of her. "He personally gives it to you?" She asked just to make sure of it.

"Yes, Ma'am," Jamal assure her with his serious tone.

"Don't call me ma'am. Just call me Luna like always. And besides, I'm not gonna be your ma'am anymore." She took a pen from Jamal and read the rest of the agreement before she scrunched a bit.

"He assigned you to be Alex's butler even after we're divorced? Why?"

"To protect his identity from leaked to the Wayne. He recruits me secretly so no one from the Wayne knows that I'm working with him. And…he want to make sure Alex's is safe and treated as one of the heirs too."

Luna sighs. "Alex is not some kind of prince and I don't want him to be too reliant on money and wealth." She murmurs and read the next point.

Jamal smile hearing her thoughts. "Don't worry, Luna. I'll be just like his brother or friend. And forgive me if I somehow, will training him a bit so that he can protect himself in the future."

Luna chuckles and says, "I don't mind you as his butler, but I do hope you not spoiled him too much."

"I understand."

Luna clicks the pen and stops her finger for a moment before she squeezes her eyes and signs the paper while holding her breath. She only exhales after she gives it to Jamal.

Jamal took the paper and put it back inside his briefcase. "Um...Luna, there's another thing he sends for you." Jamal stuttering a bit. Not sure why Raymond insists on giving her this, but he had to do his job anyway.

Slowly, Jamal took out a black invitation card wrapped in a very expensive material and handed it to her. "This is his wedding invitation. He really hopes that you can come to his wedding day."

Like being pierced, her heartbeat quicken and she finds it hard to breathe. However, she had learned how to control the situation so that she would not experiencing any more depression.

Slowly, she took the invitation card from Jamal's hand and opened it a bit. Seeing the name on the card, her tears fall down and she immediately closes the card back.

"T-Thank you. I'll check on my schedule later." She sniffles a bit and averts her eyes from the man in front of her.

Jamal pressed both of his lips before he takes out another thing inside the briefcase. "And this is the last one he wants me to give it to you."

He slowly shoves a medium velvet box with a scroll of a letter. Luna then frowns. "What is this?"

"This is…" He touches the scroll, "Your 19th birthday present that he couldn't give it to you due to what happen back then." and Jamal moves his hand to the medium velvet boxes beside the scroll.

"And this.." He inhales a bit before he said again, "He wishes you will open this gift he meant to give you five years ago."

Luna nodded her head. "Um...I don't think I need this anymore. But, thanks anyway." He took the scroll and the medium velvet box and put it into one of the boxes near her.

"You see, Jay..I actually will be moving out of this country. So, how do you plan on staying with us?" She tries to drop the subject regarding Raymond. That's how she controls her emotions to not make her fall down the pit of her depression again.

Jamal looks around him and says, "I will follow wherever my master is. You don't have to worry about me, I will surely find myself a place near yours."

"But, Jay..me and Brian often exchange our duties to take care of the child, are you okay with it? Because sometimes, Alex will be under Brian's care."

"Don't worry about it, Luna." He assured her one more time before he closed his briefcase and standing up.

"I guess, that's it for now. I will report back to you when you already move to the USA." Jamal said and take his leave before Luna averts her eyes to the staircase, looking at her two children who secretly peeking from the staircase.

"Alex, Lily..come here. I have something I would like to tell you both." Both of them looked at each other before they slowly went downstairs. Feeling a bit guilty.

Alex sat next to Lily in front of Luna and lowered his head. He knew his mother just signed the divorce paper and it somehow makes him sad. Knowing that their relationship can't be fixed again. His mother was so determined this time.

Luna looks at two of the children in front of her before she inhales deeply. "Alex..I'm sorry, but I've made my mind this time. Let us start a new life, okay?"

Alex nods his head. "Yes, mama."

Luna averts her eyes to Lily. "Lily, I also have something I would like to tell you. Um..all this time..I..I'm not your biological mother. But, I lo-"

"I know, mama." Lily stood up and went to Luna. Hugging her dearly. "I love you too. You will always be my mama and we are always a family."

Luna hugs Lily and kisses her cheek. "Thank you, dear. I love you just like I love Alex. You both are my child."

"Does it mean you will marry daddy?" Alex suddenly asked which make Luna startled for a moment. She hasn't thought about it at all.

"Uh...I don't know yet dear. Maybe, someday?" Luna faintly smiles. Yes, she doesn't have any plans to remarry again.

She already got her freedom and she had no reason for marrying anyone else right now. It's still hurt her that she had to lose the one she loves the most.

But, for the sake of both happiness, it has to make a sacrifice. Maybe it will hurt at first, but probably it'll heal in the future. She had to take all the possibility to have her own freedom and life again without being fear that Alex will be a target.

'You know I'm not against anyone you want to marry, mama. It just, I really like my own papa to be with you even though I know he's unknowingly hurt you back then. I can see how he loves you and I can see how you both still love each other.'

Alex also standing up and hug Luna. If only he could voice out his own opinion. But again, this is not his love story.
