Chapter 39 - He Changes The Password

Last week of summer break.

"Welcome home, Madam." Butler Carson greets Madam Victoria who visits the mansion so suddenly.

"Morning, Carson. Where's Raymond and Luna?" She stretching her neck looking around the spacious living hall.

He notices Raymond has changed all the decorative items which once was glassed into wooden and rubber items. So thoughtful of him to do that for Luna's safety.

She also receives a few reviews from the maids that Raymond slowly changing into a better person than before, especially the 'night' Raymond. It seems like her decision marrying him to the girl is the right one.

"Master Raymond is now doing morning exercise with Madam Luna, Ma'am." He bows his head a little. It's now becoming a routine for Luna to jog with Raymond every morning.

Normally, Raymond is quite stubborn to move from his seat, but now..it seems like he's more obedient to Luna's instruction. Last time, Dr. Fang and his wife did inform him about the shocking result of their session.

This is also a reason why Victoria coming all the way here. She wants to talk more details with Dr. Fang because his wife is currently out of the country due to another work. And one more reason is..she wants to talk with Luna about her career path.

"He's..exercising?" Looked at Carson, she scrunches her eyebrow a bit.

"Yes, Ma'am."

"That's new." She murmurs and went to the study room where 'night' Raymond often frequent going there every night. There's an oddity in the footage camera.

She often seeing Raymond leave the room after 2 AM and went to the study room. He looked like he was doing his work at night. Approving a few deals through the net before his assistant in Wayne Holding processes it on the next day.

She thought it was odd when Raymond is absent, but the company that's entrusted to him still running smooth and having no major problem. Most of the work is done with perfect detailing.

Victoria tries to switch on his computer and each of his desktops encrypt with password. She tilted her head a little.

"Your password last time is…." She types Sarah's name with her birthday number in backward.

Ding! A pop up on the screen makes Victoria's eyes widen a bit.

"Huh? He changes the password?" She taps her finger on the desk. In the next attempt, she tries every possible password he would use, but none of it was able to crack the password.

After a few times, she gives up. She gonna call her IT dept. head to crack the password later. But, right now, she needs to go downstairs back. Raymond and Luna are probably done with their morning run.

Luna went back through the kitchen door. She was so exhausted. Today's track is quite long than before. They went for a jog at the hill behind the mansion. Still inside Wayne properties and there are a few bodyguards following them secretly this time so that there's no another tragedy happen if Barbara knew.

"Hah~" Raymond followed her from behind.

Luna opens the fridge and finds a carton of juice, without finding any glass, she drinks from the carton.

"I want it to." He took the carton of juice from her and drink just like that, without she able to say anything.

"Delicious!" He smiles and when his eyes look at the front, he immediately scrunching a bit making Luna turn her head to the way Raymond looked at.

She gasped looking at the old woman who watches them from the kitchen island countertop, not far from where they both standing.

"Grandma." Luna murmur. When she remembered how she and Raymond drink the juice without using glass, she blushed a bit. Embarrassed.

"How was your morning run?" Victoria smile at both of them. They look like they get along well. And Raymond also looks healthier than last time.

"Uh-"

"Fantastic!" Raymond skipping to her grandmother and sit beside her. He leans his head on the old woman's arm, like a little kitten asking for petting.

"Really?" She reaches out her hand and pat gently on her grandson's head.

"Mhm! There's a bird sound. Loud!" He complains to Victoria.

"Oh? Where did you run today?"

Luna gulped hearing that question. The trauma from what Barbara did to her still fresh in her memory.

"There!" Raymond pointed out the back of the mansion without ill intention. He just being honest with his grandmother.

Victoria just glances a bit at Luna who froze in front of the fridge. Her face looks pale and looking at her state right now, Victoria knows it must be terrified her for what Barbara has done to her.

It was so heartless act.

"Luna...I don't mind if you want to take Raymond to go outside. It's good for his physical. But, make sure there's enough bodyguard to watch you both." She smiles at her. Hoping that she would not feel afraid of her. She needs her.

Luna nodded. "Y-yes, grandma."

"Have you both eat breakfast yet?" She changes the subject. Raymond still grinning to his ear, happy that his grandma comes and visits him.

Luna shakes her head.

"How about if we grab breakfast in town? Oh, wait. It's too late for breakfast now..how about..brunch?" Victoria gives an idea.

She knew both of them must be bored to stuck up inside the house after that tragedy. After all, she needs to make Raymond understand that starting next Monday, Luna has to go to school. It's already in August. Just after her graduation, she will start her new life where she wasn't able to be with him full time.
