試験の際、エフィルは開始の合図と共に隠密を発動し、試験官の死角に移動。そして矢を放った。見事矢は試験官に当たり、それで試験終了だ。早過ぎる。矢尻は勿論潰してはいたが、試験官は打ち所が悪かったらしく、そのまま退場。それも心配だが、何よりも心に傷を負ったようで気の毒であった。

天使と言えばメルフィーナなのだが、ただいま出張中である。例の勇者を召喚した巫女に神託を授けに行ったのだ。何やら仕事を任せた部下から急務の報せが来たらしい。メルフィーナ本人は『面倒です、本当に面倒です。あなた様、可能な限りパパッと終わらせて来ます。それまでエフィルをしっかり護るのですよ？』という言葉を残して配下ネットワークから離脱してしまった。段々とエフィルの母親か姉みたいなポジションになってきたな、メルフィーナ。

「ご主人様はいつお暇ですか？」

「ん、俺も行くのか？」
