Chapter 65 - Papa Is Telling Story!

On the bed, while Little Qiqi and Little Jia were sleeping with sweet smiles.

Yuan Meng's eyes were full of tears and her face showed worry while she trembled, she held Ye Qian's hand with hers and was lost in her thoughts.

"How would Little Jia have such a disease."

Yuan Meng mumbled as she nudged Ye Qian.

"Qian'er you need to help me make her fine, she is just like Qiqi to me, I won't feel happy if something were to happen to Little Jia."

Seeing her crying Ye Qian rubbed her back and continued to console her.

"Don't worry I know how she would be fine it's just that.."

Yuan Meng gazed at Ye Qian with high hopes as he stopped.

"What?"

Yuan Meng sternly gazed at Ye Qian as he glanced at Little Jia and patted her head.

"You remember the energy I told you about in the morning?"

"Hmm!"

Yuan Meng suddenly felt hope as he smiled.

He had told her that there was nothing that would affect him if he were to lose energy. So she knew Ye Qian would definitely make Little Jia better.

Yuan Meng's eyes brightened as she thought and smiled.

"It's just that I have rarely seen one with a Sacred Body of Twin Pulse Ice Phoenix."

Ye Qian continued as he caressed Little Jia's hair.

Little Jia was smiling as she slept comfortable, seemingly feeling happy with his touch.

Her body seems normal as of now but soon she will have some changes in her blood vessels. The cold in her body would increase more as the time progresses and she would have to bear a lot of pain."

Yuan Meng's body started trembling as she heard Ye Qian.

If such things were to happen to a little girl like Little Jia would she be able to keep herself with such pain?

Yuan Meng shook her head to remove such thoughts and asked.

'You told you can cure her!"

Ye Qian nodded.

"Yes, but this will only happen if she is not properly treated and given some teaching about the method."

"I heard there was a woman with such a constitution if the Greater Heaven long ago, relying on it she was even able to become the Suzerain of the Greater Heaven conquering and remaining unmatched during her time, she was even able to break through from Heaven's limitations and ascended to the God's Realm."

Ye Qian's brows furrowed as he continued to mumble further.

Meanwhile, Yuan Meng was staring at him speechlessly, not able to understand even a word of what he was talking about and what was the reason.

"Qian'er what are you talking about?"

Yuan Meng nudged as Ye Qian stopped mumbling.

Ye Qian smiled at her and took her palm and rubbed her cheek.

"Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to her, and we have time to cure it and even make her strong."

"She is also my daughter after all!"

Ye Qian continues with a calm voice.

Noticing that he was calm and didn't stutter she knew he would be able to cure Little Jia.

"And if you want to understand the Scared Body then I need to tell you the things that happened to me while I went missing."

Ye Qian's face turned serious as he took her face in his hands and continued.

"Mengmeng, you must not tell this to anyone, this might harm our little family if these things were to be known by some cruel-hearted people."

Yuan Meng pursed her lips while blinking her eyes rapidly and nodded.

Ye Qian smiled, he knew thought Earth was not the cultivation world but there were always some people who are in search of power if they were to know that they would be able to live for so long, it would only be a miracle if Yuan Meng and Little Qiqi were hurt or threatened to know the truth.

This was the heart of men, they covet power when they are hot-blooded and will search to live for more when they have power but less time to taste it, they will do anything if you were to tell some powerful old people that they could live more and even look young. They might not even think of the consequences and try to use all their power to obtain such secrets.

Ye Qian sighed and glanced at the sleeping little girls and smiled.

"Mengmeng sit by the headboard, it will take a while for me to tell you everything."

Ye Qian smiled as he took a pillow and placed it on the headboard.

Yuan Meng nodded and slid towards it and placed her back while extending her legs on the bed.

Ye Qian also went to her side and sat beside her.

"So how should I start?"

Ye Qian asked.

"Shouldn't you say the things from the start like, what were you doing and didn't come at home that day!"

Yuan Meng breathed as she placed her head on Ye Qian's shoulder.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian took his hand and placed it on her shoulder.

Yuan Meng smiled at his gesture and felt happy.

"That day, when I went out to solve the companies issue in the other district, while I was coming back here it was all raining there, but as the site was closed I had no way to complete the work so I was walking on the road when the rain started to slow down, to come back quickly."

Ye Qian took a deep breath and continued.

"While I was walking to the bus station a truck suddenly slide due to the water on the road and came crashing at me, I was not able to move due to the sudden take of events and froze there, it hit me right in the head while I fell off the valley and died."

Ye Qian paused, he knew Yuan Meng was not able to listen any further as she started trembling.

She was gazing at him while he counted the day and was shivering all over.

He knew she might not be able to take this so he rubbed her shoulder and placed his forehead against hers and rubbed it.

"Don't feel bad, I am back now."

"Sniff sniff, so you are a ghost now?"

Yuan Meng sniffed and asked.

Ye Qian's lips twitched at her question.

"Let me continue you will know!"

Ye Qian smiled.

"Uhh... Ummm."

Meanwhile, Little Qiqi and Little Jia were disturbed from their sleep by Yuan Meng's cry and opened their trembling eyes.

Little Qiqi rubbed her eye and asked in dizziness.

"Mumma, why are you crying?"

Little Jia also woke up and rubbed her eyes and glanced at Yuan Meng who had her eyes filled with tears.

"Aunt Meng, what happened?"

Both the little girls crawled to Yuan Meng and rubbed her tears off.

Yuan Meng smiled at them and answered.

"Your Papa is telling me a story and that made me cry!"

Little Jia and Little Qiqi looked at each other and then at Ye Qian who had a helpless smile.

He had never thought Yuan Meng would say them that he was telling a story.

"Papa, are you telling a story to Mumma?"

Ye Qian could only anime and nod helplessly.

The little girls shone as they heard the word story and giggled.

"Papa, we also want to hear the story Papa is telling."

Saying that they ran into his embrace holding each of his hands.

Ye Qian turned to Yuan Meng and furrowed his brows.

Yuan Meng didn't know why she said that she pursed her lips at him and again placed her head on his shoulder.

"Papa, tell the story, we also want to listen!"

Little Jia exclaimed as she sat on his lap and rubbed her head on his chest.

Little Qiqi copied her and did the same.

"Ok ok, I will tell you but, my little girls need to be quiet!"

Ye Qian patted their heads and ordered.

"Hehe Papa, say it quick Qiqi had never heard stories while sleeping."

"Ok."

Saying that he placed his hand on Yuan Meng's shoulder to ease her up.

Yuan Meng turned to him and nodded.

Though she felt her heartache when Ye Qian said that he died she comforted herself as he was fine.

She was even more confused now.
