Chapter 560 - My husband can't live

Hafsa thought she was dating Danny but the latter was using Hafsa to get near Sky. Because Sky always ignored anyone going near her and would give a cold shoulder to everyone unless she had to complete some college tasks or it's related to academics.

Danny was vice president of the student union in his final year of college. For the college feast, he purposefully added Sky's name in the group. Since it was common every year, Sky didn't feel anything fishy.

By that time Hafsa was avoiding Sky completely. The latter was sad for a few days but she moved on. Once the planning of decoration and other arrangement's started, Sky had to stay after college for discussion.

That way Sky spent two hours with Danny and others for three days. On the third day, Sky took a little long time to finish the final designing of the flyer. All had left and Andy was waiting for her near college gate that day to pick her up instead of her brothers.

Sky who was alone in the room and saw Danny entering. Since he was the leader of the group, she reported the work and was leaving, he stopped her. He confessed everything including how he used Hafsa to get close to her. He asked if they could date and requested Sky to stop giving him the cold shoulder.

Sky was angered knowing he played with Hafsa's feelings and slapped him tightly. But somebody else turned her around and stroked hard on her cheeks before Sky could even analyze who it was.

Holding her swelling red cheek, Sky tried to explain her, "Haffie! This imbecile played with your feelings. He used..."

Seeing her trying to slap Sky again, Danny stopped her hand in the air. "Hafsa! That's enough! If you are angry, vent it at me. Not Sky."

That triggered Hafsa more. She mercilessly beat him as she cried and cursed Sky. The latter tried to talk sense and explain to Hafsa that she never liked Danny and she was going with her because Hafsa was calling her. Sky was responding to him because of her.

But none reached to Hafsa. She called Sky 'Homewrecker' before running out. Sky wasn't least bit angry on Hafsa as she was the victim of Danny's game.

She shrugged Danny off and went out. When she was taking stairs, she was stopped by the president of the student union seeing her swollen cheek. She vaguely answered and said she wasn't hurt, nobody bullied her or giving her trouble.

His intention was pure. Since she was working for the feast and he was president, he wanted to know so that he could take action but Hafsa who saw them laughed at her scornfully before going towards the washroom.

Andy saw Sky and worriedly checked on her as he asked. That's when Hafsa exited the college gate and saw Sky with Andy who she already knew.

She despised Sky, "Sky! If I knew you were a cheap girl playing with so many guys, I would have never made you as my friend." Then she left without looking back.

The latter days they never talked. Hafsa never told anybody about anything. Most of the time Sky always ignored Hafsa's hateful remarks at her. She would always compete in everything with Sky. The latter would mind her business. That's how friends became archenemies.

Sky looked at Arlo, "I really didn't know that Danny liked me not Hafsa Bell. If I knew I never would have gone with her and would have told her about it."

"I know!" Arlo said and embraced her.

If she could say courtesy for the men who tried to get her attention, why would she even care to look at her best friend's crush?

Arlo cupped her face before saying, "Don't get sad over such trivial persons. Okay? Now show me your painting."

Sky nodded and unwounded her hands around him and went ahead. After tracing down the years, they finally reached her painting.

Title: Northern lights

Painted by: Sky Barton

It was a beautiful Aurora painting where a girl painted in black was looking at the dark sky which had greenish-yellow aurora and stars in the sky.

"Have you watched Aurora?"

Sky shook her head, "They are visible around the Arctic, Antarctic and in the cold countries. It will be very cold there and I can't handle that temperature so I never went or never asked anybody to take me. This is just an imagination after knowing about Aurora."

Arlo had basic knowledge about Aurora, so he knew what she said was right. So to change her mood, he said in a mischievous tone, "If we could see in summer, I would have taken you there for our honeymoon. I will think for a second or third honeymoon under northern lights."

Sky fleed as she said, "We aren't newly married couples to go for a honeymoon. And don't even dream of marrying a second or third time."

He clearly saw her cheeks turn red before she ran away further inside the gallery which meant she understood what he said. He followed her and saw her standing in front of a painting.

Title: Feelings drenched

Painted by: Ellis Miley

Sky noticed him and held his arm, "Does it look like a sad or happy painting?"

Arlo looked at the painting where background city, buildings, rain, and surroundings were all grey except the couple and a red umbrella they were holding to cover their head while kissing.

"I think it's a goodbye kiss." Arlo said what he felt.

Sky hummed, "Goodbye Kiss! Accepting the fact that you are going to lose it, although you do not want to...Sad one!... Hmmm, Let's go."

Arlo pulled her back and kissed. Sky wanted to stop him but gave in soon knowing only they were present in the gallery. But there was somebody who entered and saw them.

For her, Sky and Arlo looked like a breath-taking painting than the paintings around them. Hafsa didn't disturb them and left the Gallery.

Arlo didn't continue for a long time, "And this?"

Sky led him out in her flushed face before saying. "Accepting the fact that My husband can't live without kissing me."

Arlo chuckled hearing her. After a quick tour of her college as Alan avoided the man who knew his identity, both went to the Principal's house and took ten paintings and left for the Barton Mansion.

Sky instructed the maids to pack each painting well and keep in the storeroom before going for dinner which was sa surprise for Arlo.
