The milk was initially chilled, but Shan Yi decided to heat it over medium heat for three minutes. While waiting, she took the opportunity to check something on her phone, still mindful after the unexpected incident at the hot spring.

After reading, Shan Yi quietly washed the pot and proceeded to boil two eggs. As the water came to a boil, the eggs cooked rapidly, and the milk, having been heated for three minutes, became pleasantly warm. Carefully peeling the eggs, Shan Yi then sliced them open with a small knife.

Shen Tiantian sat patiently on the sofa, while Shan Yi had been occupied inside for quite some time. Intrigued, Shen Tiantian decided to go and see what was keeping her.

“CEO, what are you doing?” Shen Tiantian inquired.

Shan Yi turned around, “How did you get in?”

“Just curious to see what you’re up to,” Shen Tiantian peeked inside. Two boiled eggs, now peeled and delicately cut into flower-like shapes, caught her eye.

Shen Tiantian couldn’t help but find it amusing how Shan Yi managed to turn a simple boiled egg into something so ceremonial.

Shan Yi rubbed her nose and smiled, “It looks more appetizing this way.”

“I want to eat,” Shen Tiantian said eagerly, licking her lips.

The milk was still slightly warm, and it paired perfectly with the eggs.

Shan Yi said: “Eat the eggs first, then drink the milk.”

Although Shen Tiantian was a bit puzzled, she didn’t ask and obediently picked up half of the egg, opening her mouth and swallowing it in one bite.

After finishing one egg, Shen Tiantian took a sip of milk. She didn’t feel full but let out a small burp.

“Burp…”

Shan Yi couldn’t help but laugh, throwing manners aside.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Shen Tiantian blushed. She glanced at Shan Yi and brought the remaining egg to her lips, saying, “CEO, have some too.”

Perhaps due to Shen Tiantian’s trembling hands or the tenderness of the egg, the egg white seemed to quiver, almost inviting Shan Yi to eat it quickly.

Shan Yi lowered her eyes, slowly opened her mouth, and took a bite. Instead of swallowing, she savored it, then leaned down and took the rest into her mouth. Her gaze fixed on Shen Tiantian, and as she pulled back, she teasingly licked her palm, playfully suggestive.

Shen Tiantian trembled slightly and quickly pulled back her hand.

Shan Yi silently curved her lips, and Shen Tiantian immediately knew she did it on purpose, so she glared at her.

In response to being glared at, Shan Yi touched her nose and let out a soft chuckle.

Shen Tiantian picked up her phone and returned to the sofa, opening WeChat.

Over the past few days, she had been spending a lot of time with Shan Yi, and they had been very lovey-dovey with each other. As a result, she hadn’t been active on WeChat much and seemed to have automatically logged out. She wasn’t sure if anyone had tried to contact her.

Sure enough, as soon as she logged in, there were over 99+ messages in the group chat with the three of them. She couldn’t pinpoint who had mentioned her, and the chat history was too far back to find out, but she responded with an emoji in the group.

Kang Jiaya: Missing person?!

Liu Wanjun: Probably too focused on her love life, right?

Shen Tiantian: On a date with the CEO.

She didn’t tell them about her hospitalization to prevent them from worrying.

Kang Jiaya: When will you bring her out for us to meet?

Liu Wanjun: Yes, I also want to see who this mysterious person is, capable of stealing our Tiantian away.

Shen Tiantian stole a glance at Shan Yi and couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

Noticing her playful expression, Shan Yi leaned in and asked, “What are you chatting about so happily?”

Shen Tiantian playfully called out, quickly covering her phone as if it were a precious treasure, “Nothing.”

Shan Yi smiled and didn’t insist on looking, but instead, she brought a glass of milk from the table. “Darling, have another sip.”

Shen Tiantian glanced at the glass and silently took two sips.

Meanwhile, Shan Yi went to the kitchen, giving Shen Tiantian the chance to unlock her phone. To her surprise, there were already more than ten messages in the group chat.

Shen Tiantian: She’s too wonderful; I’m afraid you’ll all be overwhelmed by her charm.

Liu Wanjun: …

Kang Jiaya: …Put away your narcissism; we all have families.

Liu Wanjun: Speaking of that, when do you two plan to get married?

Kang Jiaya: Yeah, you already have a child on the way.

Shen Tiantian: She has already proposed to me.

Kang Jiaya: Congratulations.

Liu Wanjun: Did you accept?

Shen Tiantian: Yes.

“I’m going out for a moment,” Shan Yi’s voice came through.

Shen Tiantian instinctively replied with an “Okay” and then raised her head. “Where are you going?”

“They can’t come in, so I’ll go downstairs to get it.”

“Alright,” Shen Tiantian nodded, and her gaze returned to the screen.

Liu Wanjun: What about her family? How do they feel about it?

Kang Jiaya: Don’t tell me she hasn’t introduced you to her parents yet?

Shen Tiantian hurriedly replied: I’ve only met her aunt and younger brother; I haven’t met the others.

Kang Jiaya: That’s a bit concerning.

Liu Wanjun: Why don’t you ask her? Knowing her family’s attitude would give you some peace of mind.

Shen Tiantian acknowledged with a “Got it,” but suddenly felt a mix of complex emotions. Apart from the confession that brought them together, she had always been passive. Unless Shan Yi took the initiative, she wouldn’t make a move. She wondered if she should take the initiative for once?

While she was lost in her thoughts, a sound from the entrance interrupted her. Shan Yi was back.

Putting down her phone, Shen Tiantian walked over barefoot and greeted, “You’re back.”

Shan Yi was momentarily taken aback for a few seconds, playfully asking, “Hungry?”

Her enthusiasm was met with a cold response, and Shen Tiantian glared at her irritably before turning back to the sofa.

Confused by the sudden change in mood, Shan Yi placed the items on the table and went over to hug her, asking, “What’s wrong? Did I make you angry again?”

Shen Tiantian shook her head, guiding Shan Yi’s hand to her belly and tilting her head slightly to bring their faces close, “You…?”

Shan Yi couldn’t read her mind, so she naturally couldn’t figure out what Shen Tiantian wanted to say. She kissed the side of her face, encouraging her to continue.

“I… my best friends, do you want to meet them?”

Shan Yi was somewhat surprised; the little lamb was finally taking the initiative for once, and she certainly couldn’t refuse.

She knew that Shen Tiantian was talking about Liu Wanjun, Lin Haozhi’s newlywed wife, whom she had met once at their wedding. Shen Tiantian had mentioned Kang Jiaya as well, but Shan Yi didn’t have much of an impression of her.

“When?”

Shen Tiantian thought for a moment, “When do you want to?”

“I’m fine with anytime.”

These past few days, Shan Yi had been constantly by Shen Tiantian’s side, leaving all the company matters to Assistant Yang to handle. Whenever there were calls, she would answer them discreetly, fearing that if Shen Tiantian found out she was busy, she would feel guilty once more.

Shen Tiantian smiled and felt somewhat excited, “Yaya is abroad, so she probably won’t have time to come back soon. Wanjun is pregnant and not working now, so she’s available anytime. We can meet Wanjun first.”

“Okay.”

“Should I arrange a time with her, then?”

Shan Yi nodded in agreement.

Shen Tiantian immediately opened WeChat and shared the plan in the group chat.

Liu Wanjun: How about tomorrow?

Kang Jiaya: The sadness of being abroad…

Liu Wanjun: It’s okay, I’ll take photos for you.

Kang Jiaya: That works too. Tiantian’s lifelong happiness depends on you.

Looking at the messages filling the screen, Shen Tiantian couldn’t help but laugh.

At this moment, Shan Yi had already brought out the food, neatly packed in disposable containers, saving them the trouble of washing dishes after they finished eating.

“Come over here and eat,” Shan Yi invited.

Shen Tiantian elongated her response, quickly typing in the group chat, “I need to go eat now,” before exiting WeChat. She walked barefoot to the dining area and plopped down on a chair.

Shan Yi sighed softly, looking serious. “Don’t walk barefoot on the floor; you might catch a cold.”

Shen Tiantian shrugged her shoulders, playfully changing the subject. “It smells so good.”

Shan Yi pinched her cheek helplessly, insisting, “Did you hear me?”

“I heard you, CEO!” Shen Tiantian playfully wrinkled her face.

“If you do it again, I might just bite you.”

Shen Tiantian widened her eyes, looking a bit aggrieved. “I’m already carrying your child, and you still want to bite me?”

Shan Yi chuckled, lowering her head to gently kiss her sweet lips, savoring their tenderness. “Yes, that’s exactly how I’ll bite you.”

Shen Tiantian’s face instantly flushed, and she gently pushed Shan Yi away, saying, “I’m hungry.”

Shan Yi stopped teasing her and replied, “Alright, let’s eat.”

Shen Tiantian didn’t say anything further and pretended to focus on the food.

Shan Yi knew that Shen Tiantian suffered from severe morning sickness, so she had been diligently reading pregnancy guides at the hospital. When ordering the food, Shan Yi intentionally avoided dishes that might trigger her morning sickness.

After the meal, Shen Tiantian felt comfortable without any discomfort. She ate heartily, thoroughly enjoying the meal.

Putting down her chopsticks, Shen Tiantian stood up and stretched her waist vigorously.

Feeling pleasantly full, she thought, “So satisfying.”

Shan Yi looked at her satisfied expression, a trace of indulgent smile appearing on her lips, and then she began to tidy up the remains on the table.

Shen Tiantian gently rubbed her plump belly and felt a wave of drowsiness coming over her. After the meal, all she wanted to do was sleep.

She worried that if things continued like this, she would soon become a 200-pound round ball.

She lightly slapped her own face as a reminder that she should exercise now instead of sleeping.

Shan Yi put the trash at the entrance and returned to see Shen Tiantian slapping herself. Worried, she hurriedly went over and grabbed her hand, feeling heartbroken. “Why are you hitting yourself?”

With her hands held, Shen Tiantian stopped her actions and said with a look of grievance, “I feel like sleeping again.”

Shan Yi was puzzled, “What does that have to do with hitting yourself?”

“Didn’t you notice that I’ve gained weight recently?” Shen Tiantian admitted, especially in the past two days when Shan Yi kept feeding her delicious food as if afraid she would go hungry.

“So what?” Shan Yi responded calmly, understanding why Shen Tiantian was acting this way.

“That’s why I can’t sleep anymore.” Shen Tiantian held Shan Yi’s hand back. “I have to go to work tomorrow.”

“No, you should rest for a few more days,” Shan Yi insisted.

Shen Tiantian remained silent, looking at Shan Yi with a furrowed brow and watery eyes. Though clearly distressed, she seemed to be inexplicably acting cute.

Shan Yi couldn’t resist her gaze and ultimately agreed to her request.

Upon receiving permission, Shen Tiantian was almost about to jump up with joy. Holding Shan Yi’s face, she kissed her all over, saying, “CEO, you’re so good.”

“I think at this moment, you should say ‘my wife is so good,'” Shan Yi teased, playfully adding.

Shen Tiantian paused, her face turning suspiciously red. After a while, she said: “Thank you, my wife.”

Hearing her address her as “my wife,” Shan Yi’s heart melted. Taking charge, she gently pressed Shen Tiantian back onto the couch and leaned down to kiss her.

Unlike Shen Tiantian’s messy and disorganized kisses, Shan Yi’s kisses were assertive and passionate, as if she wanted to pull her inside.

After an unknown amount of time, Shen Tiantian couldn’t take it anymore and gently patted Shan Yi’s shoulder.

She was almost out of breath.

Shan Yi slowly released her, and as their lips separated, a translucent string of saliva broke.

Shen Tiantian felt her face burning with heat, her cheeks flushed.

Shan Yi was still hovering over her, both of them breathing heavily, their breaths tightly entwined.

Shen Tiantian turned her face away, and only then did Shan Yi notice that her ears were also red.

Ah ah ah, so adorable.

Shan Yi couldn’t control herself and leaned down to nibble on Shen Tiantian’s earlobe.

“Get up quickly,” Shen Tiantian trembled slightly and gently pushed her away, “Don’t forget what Aunt said.”

Upon hearing this, Shan Yi chuckled softly, “I haven’t forgotten. She only said we shouldn’t do certain things, not that we can’t be affectionate.”

Shen Tiantian rolled her eyes playfully at her response and remained silent.

Shan Yi buried her face in Shen Tiantian’s neck, gently exhaling against her collarbone.

Her body felt a tingling sensation, and suddenly, Shen Tiantian’s mind was filled with curiosity. She looked at the half-visible back of Shan Yi’s head and teasingly asked, “I wonder where the CEO learned her kissing skills from.”

Both of them were clearly experiencing their first time, but how did Shan Yi manage to kiss her so passionately, making her feel weak, like a seasoned flirt, while she felt like she was just clumsily gnawing?

The more she thought about it, the more it bothered her. Shen Tiantian squinted her eyes as she playfully observed Shan Yi.

She wanted to see how Shan Yi would explain this intriguing mystery.
