Chapter 632 - Root Fires

A root fire is one of the worst things you could have to deal with. A hidden threat that could cause wildfires even months later. A root fire is basically an underground root that's smouldering (burning slowly without a flame). These root fires can travel long distances underground and surface elsewhere months later to wreck havoc.

One idiot throwing a cigarette on the ground could easily cause a root fire which eventually burns down a whole forest a few weeks later.
