Chapter 631 - Hard Drives

Name:XP Author:OneFist
This chapter is probably one of the more important ones. Deleting a file doesn't actually delete it. When you delete a file from your recycling bin, all it does is tell your computer that that space that the file once occupied can now be reused. It is only upon installing new files that overwrite the old ones, that that old data is actually destroyed. (This is only the case for hard drives).

So if you're planning on throwing away an old hard drive or maybe just selling it, please do take precautions to ensure your private data stays private. The safest method is definitely complete physical destruction of the drive.

Update on the restriction: I'm still waiting on a response, nothing's changed so far.

To summarize; they have a bot that can detect "Chinese and Korean characters," and is able to restrict novels, but not one that can unrestrict a novel after the offending chapter has been removed. The least they could've done is given a warning. Or maybe just add a fail safe that novels with over a hundred chapters need to be manually restricted.

If XP does get taken down, feel free to spam Vessel. I'll continue it sooner or later (probably sooner if XP gets taken down).
