Chapter 575 - Drowning Machine

Believe it or not, it is possible to find warning signs warning you about "The Drowning Machine". These signs are commonly found near low-head dams (dams designed to raise the water level and excess water flows over the top). These dams usually appear very harmless and weak. To keep it simple, the water drop off point creates the perfect scenario for underwater vortexes to form.

Just avoid swimming near low-head dams in general to avoid the risk of being trapped in an underwater freezing (risk of hypothermia) turbulent (you won't float due to all the bubbles) vortex that almost certainly will result in death.

Just never forget, water can be frighteningly deceptive.
