"Hi Alex," he said as he sat opposite to me

"hello," i said still looking at the door.

"if you looking for jack, he won't be joining us anytime soon," he said as he smirked

my eyes turned to him.

"what do you want?" I deadpanned.

"I just thought that you might need help after all this is your first case".

"and how are you going to help?" I asked.

"by giving you information"

"information that cleo can't access?"

he smiled and said, "yes."

"interesting..." "but what do you want in return?"

"you are smart Alex. I want you to get jack together with the girl he likes."

"what!?" I broke "what the hell! what kind of request was that"I thought to myself trying to not break my poker face.

"you heard me. i know he likes a girl in our school but even with all my abilities that's all I know so I want you to find out who this girl is and get them together."

I and Loki looked at each other as if saying , "we are dealing with a weirdo".

"I will take your silence as a yes."

he looked at his watch and said,"well, I should leave now he" said as he ran out the front door and immediately after he left jack came through the backdoor in the cafe covered in pink glitter.

"where is that little rat!" he yelled and I couldn't stop laughing. without fail, I took a picture of him before he stormed off.

we spent the next thirty minutes searching for ways to remove the glitter from his hair. we were not successful.

"what did james tell you?" jack asked curiously

"not much. by the way you didn't tell me he loved playing matchmaker."

"ugh...he asked didn't he"

"yes" i said as my smile turned into a smirk. "you like anna don't you?"

"what-No why-wha no no nope." he blabbered as he blushed

"yup you don't like her at all" i said as I chuckled.

"so does max know?" I asked

"yes" he said only a little louder than a whisper.

i raised an eyebrow and asked,"really?"

"sorry. it just happened"

"don't apologise." I said. "I rather not have to deal with romantic crap."

"jack i have a request", I said in a low voice.

"anything", he smiled

i took a paper and wrote down a few sentences then handed it to him."i want you to tell anna exactly what is written."
