Chapter 33 - driver's license

WHO WILL DRIVE THE BUS? everyone had forgotten about this detail. the teachers began arguing about who will drive. max asked me," who do you think will drive?" I replied"professor Sara can't drive because she doesn't have a driver's licence." "Mr Nick has his driver's license but isn't a driver so I don't think he is going to volunteer"Cleo added. "that leaves miss jas, miss lisa and professor Stine." "oh didn't you know that miss jas and miss lisa are too tried because they had to arrange this trip" Sam said. max turned towards him and asked him how he knew about that and he again calmly replied," didn't they say that before". this was surprising as I was sure they didn't talk about this before or anytime I could think of so just how did he get this information? I didn't have time or enough information to uncover that but his information was right because professor Stine decided to drive ( I am so happy I don't have to sit with him). the teachers decided where to sit in the bus I was planning to sit with max so that I could tell him about the secret passage but Cleo said," come on let's play game to see who sits with who. I have already written the my name , Anna's and Alex's name in these papers and folded them now let's see the luck of you boys to see who sits with which girl." Sam and jack said that it sounded interesting but max didn't look so excited about it. jack first picked the paper and opened it and said," I guess I am sitting with you Anna." Anna's face turned red and Cleo screamed,"WHAAAAAAT!" then sam took a paper and opened it and said " I guess I am sitting with my beautiful rose" I look at Sam and said "wait you mean me?" and max screamed,"WHAAAAAAT!" " Wait does that mean I am stuck with you Cleo?" "yup" said Cleo as she sadly climbed into the bus and seeing us the teachers also decided to play the game ( except professor Stine because he has to drive the bus) and their outcome was just as bad as ours.

Sam kept talking but more in a poetic way which made me feel like I was in class and a lot of what he said was like Greek and Latin for me but I knew that he was talking about me but others weren't better Anna and jack had an awkward silence between them and everytime miss lisa tried to start a conversation with miss jas it didn't end so well and to break all the awkwardness professor Sara and Mr Nick kept fighting and Cleo and max where also arguing about jealously? I think. I know Cleo is jealous of Anna because she gets to sit with jack but I wonder why max was jealous. anyway when we reached the place we had a bigger surprise in store for us....
