Chapter 21 - sky

I ran out of the house and began searching every possible place he could have gone. a few hours later I still couldn't find him. I was extremely tired and hungry but I didn't have time to eat so I went to the store to get some water and as I continued searching for him I looked up the sky, I soon remembered a memory that could lead me to max. after running for a few minutes I reached the old and abandoned apartment. as I was climbing the stairs I saw the painting done by me and max here and began giggling remembering all the crazy and silly things we had done when we were small. I opened the rusted old door that lead to the terrace and there I saw him lying and looking at the sky with no hope. I felt a little pain in my c.h.e.s.t since it felt like I was seeing myself from the past. I went close to him and laid down beside him and said,"seeing the sky means two things....one, that you have lost hope or two, you are filled with hope and can't wait for tomorrow..so... which one is it?....do you remember who told me this?". "yes, how can I forget when it was me who told you" he said with tears rushing from his eyes. he got up and wiped his tears and said,"I am not going to give up afterall you didn't". I was certainly proud of him (afterall he is much more brave than I was at that time). the rest of the day till night we ended up talking about all the clues we have about the case. we were planning to go home but none of us had anything in the kitchen that we could eat so we decided to go to a restaurant. as we were about to enter the restaurant I and max saw Mr Nick enter another restaurant so we decided to follow him to get more clues.....
