Chapter 271 - Ran's Limelight II

I can't delete this because it is a VIP chapter as the system says. So, instead of wasting it—because the content was similar to Ran's Limelight on volume 3 (read that if you had not read it yet)—I decided to put another limelight on myself. 

So! 

Hi, my name is Ran, you can call me King Ran. Just kidding, Ran will be fine. I'm the writer of this story, World after Worlds. Good morning, good afternoon, good night, or good mornight, whenever or wherever you are, greetings! 

Straight to the business. If you are reading this, you probably are in the fourth world. You've come so far, I'm glad you did. If you have been my redder since the beginning of WaW you are probably aware of how spontaneous I was. I do changes very often... 

The fourth world would be finalized. The clean-finale version is ongoing. Almost ready to get hard-bound and printed. It won't change after this one. Cross fingers. What changed from the recent version? Before it was only 35 chapters and now, it will have 150 chapters with 1500 words each. The plot did not alter however I did some polishing for the characters and the settings. Sex scenes, improved. Interactions improved. I guess everything has improved. 

This is one of the possible scenarios for this book. 

Once the 4th world ends, you have to wait for the 5th world for probably three to five months, depending. Because world 3, 2, 1 will be put under construction. It means I will change it to something similar to the 4th world. 

It was determined that each arch will consist of 150-200 chapters. 

World 3| =1000 words/chapter

World 2| =1000 words/chapter

World 1| =1000 words/chapter

Below are the approximate dates of how many chapters in advance you can read depending on what tier you have purchased in the privilege. By the total calculation, if you are not a privileged reader, the World after Worlds volume 5 will be completed by March 2023. If you are thinking what I am thinking, yes, no more updates for this book and we shall wait for the 6th world to get the announcement when to be published.

This is a challenge exclusive for privileged readers. Currently, the total number of chapters in the privilege is 35 chapters, which is the 4th tier. If the readers wished to make the 5th tier available which will contain 50 chapters in advance. You can accomplish this little challenge.

You can ignore this if you aren't interested. Anyways, if the requirement is fulfilled the reward will be updated by the first day of the month.

If anyone would be upset because there are no challenges and rewards for the readers who do not purchase privileged. It seems unfair and so— 

Let me explain. 

As you can see above, I already calculated dates and chapters, it is all set. The maximum number of chapters that can be used in the privilege will be 50 chapters. It is a waste not to use that, don't you think? Well, for me it's a waste, so, I am just taking everything I could utilize to my disposal. 

Guide-sama: "That doesn't explain why there are no rewards and challenges, Ran." 

So, the calculated estimated dates with its chapters. If I do the rewards and challenges, those dates will change. As you know, each world will have 150 chapters. World 3 is lacking 62 chapters, World 2 is lacking 66 chapters, and World 1 is lacking 66 chapters. Total of 194 chapters to add. 

At the beginning of the D-Day of the "under construction", I will publish 2 chapters per day, in total that would be 97 days. If I suddenly decided to reward you with +10 chapters I will have to adjust the dates... Which I could not do. I hope I explained it well enough... My head is starting to ache. HAHAHA! Just that, yes, that! No rewards and challenges for now. In my next stories, I will add it... To the 6th world, it will be present. So, don't hate me, alright? 

[LIMELIGHT for RAN] 

I know you enjoyed reading Yanarym's adventure throughout the worlds she had been to. I had fun too, a lot. I am very happy and sad whenever I read and write the ending of each arc. But as the readers are growing in number I somehow manage to become more pessimistic than enthusiastic. Although I take great honor with this book I created, my self-esteem is not very high or even average. 

Whenever I write stories. I am so proud of everything, I often share them with some trusted friends. But I always get criticism from them—saying that I am too cringe, or too exaggerating, too many grammatical errors, such unrealistic scenes, characters are hazy, I don't make sense or something like my writing sucks—I deserve it. Yes, I acknowledge those criticisms because they were all facts. 

I am not a literature enthusiast. I only write my imagination because I believe they are good and beautiful. I want to share what I felt when I thought of those images playing on my head. I can't draw it, so I just write them.

I did not expect that I would end up becoming a writer. I never thought that my career path was becoming an author. So, I never took literature seriously—since I am doing it all just for fun. Until it became 'not' anymore just for fun, I decided to just completely drop out from engineering and pursue writing. My mom is not pleased about me dropping out. No parents would be happy when their children decided on their future. And the path they had chosen is uncertain. I can understand my mother… and I know she could not understand me. 

But that is just it, engineering is not my happiness. I could become an engineer but no. For me, you can always become what you want to become. But—will that make you happy? 

What I am trying to say, I lacked knowledge in this field. Writing literature. I am going into a war without bullets on my gun. Knowledge is power whenever or wherever you are. 

As I was preparing the prolog for the sixth world—I read some comments and heard some other criticism from someone I know. I read a book and read the first world of World After Worlds.

Mine is good. It is great! I'm hooked. As I read, I feel like idolizing the author. Which is me. Haha. At the same time, whenever I come across mistakes, wrong grammar, typos, confusing paragraphs and dialogues that don't make sense, and other things. 

I thought… "The first five worlds could be better. Should I change it?" However, it will take time, and the sixth world that I am already preparing will hold to a halt. During the whole time of December, my mind was only filled with one question, "Should I revise the five worlds or not?"

I could. I also thought they deserve better. They could be better. So, I will revise them. To do so, I should do it under construction. I can't multitask… 

I want them (the five worlds) to get hardbound once it is finished. I think every author wished for their books to get hardbound, right? The most substantial thing could happen to me. And looking back, if it is not for 'WaW', I would still be stuck in my room pondering if I should continue college with only pressure and expectations weighing on me. 

So, enough of my shits. What I am pointing out is. I want to make everything better.

I am starting to earn money from the MGS of Webnovel but it was not enough financial support. I don't even have a laptop ಥ‿ಥ that is my first goal of purchase once I collected enough money. 

Recently, I bought 10 books to become my reference, and it helped me to enhance some of my skills in rhetoric. My two friends are my current alpha readers, one is always unavailable. Their opinion is not enough, though they are a lot of help for me! So I am hoping to gain some of you—approach me! To make the stories I publish better, and for everyone to enjoy it with no worries. So, I can be rich! — just kidding. No, I'm serious.
