Chapter 260 - § CRAZIEST §

CHAPTER 007

"What was that?" Unvexed as she heard a baritone voice behind her and proceeded to undress." I'm talking to you. What just happened back there?" The man was pretty impatient himself. Without any reaction from her or an answer, he vigorously yanked her arm as she was putting up her dress. The dress fell on the floor, and she was left naked—he did not care.

"Aray!" She squeaked and directed her eyes on him, "Can you be a little gentle and patient? I'm trying to put my clothes on." She muttered nonchalantly, she was completely topless but did not bother hiding her breasts from him. Although, for a man, he didn't even show the slightest reaction to her nakedness. He wasn't interested.

"I'm asking you! What was that in the field, Yanarym?!" She stared back at him with jaded eyes then smiled at him. For a second, Lyndon saw hatred and disgust in the depth of those eyes, or was it his mind playing tricks on him? She took advantage of his trance and reached the dress from the ground and she swiftly slipped into it. In a snap, Yanarym launched herself towards him. Wrapping her arms around him, she looked straight into his eyes with admiration.

Sweetly, she asked him, "What are you talking about, Lyndon?"

Lyndon was flabbergasted by the way she behaved, she was beaming at him enthusiastically. She had feelings for him, that fact, he already knew. Nevertheless, seeing this courageous side of her was a first to him. Come to think of it, she was so calm when he saw her naked. Wasn't she supposed to be flustered by that? She buried her face on his chest while he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He meant to ask her regarding what happened on the field a while ago but her actions caused his mind to malfunction.

"I did what you asked me to do. Aren't you proud of me?" she pouted, looking up at him. Lyndon forced a smile, struggling to hide the muddled expression on his face. She giggled like a happy teenager before reaching for his hand and placing it on top of her head. "Then, pet me," he had no choice but to fondle her hair. Still smiling like an idiot, she closed her eyes.

He was her pawn, to make Kraig's life miserable was her purpose. She had indeed finished her job. He told her to injure Tiana and made Kraig mad, but that was not what he was expecting to happen. Because no matter how determined she was on inflicting harm to the two, she would nevertheless flunk. That was what outcome Lyndon would always assume. He aimed to annoy Kraig, not hurt Tiana. Yet, something different occurred today.

He stared at her, "What happened to you?"

She opened her eyes and peered at him innocently. "What do you mean?"

"You don't usually behave like this. Who are you?" He asked her frankly. Yanarym laughed as she let go of him.

"I'm still me. It's just that I thought I was going to die when that crystal ball hit my body," she explained then turned around to face the mirror attached to her locker door. She picked up her brush and gently combed her hair with it. "I came to realize that I shouldn't die in vain. I don't want to have regrets. From now on, I will live my life to the fullest!" Lyndon looked at her with indifference. She was full of enthusiasm but he couldn't reciprocate the feeling. "Shouldn't we publicize our relationship? What do you think?"

"No!" He quickly opposed, quite taken aback by surprise. He shook his hands in disagreement to her unprecedented suggestion. Yanarym's cheerfulness disappeared.

He was never willing to sacrifice himself to the daughter of the infamous witch professor. No one ever liked Yanarym and Lyndon was not an exemption. He may pretend to like her but that was the limit of it. However, seeing her sullenness, he cussed on his head. They have accomplished a lot of things together in making Kraig's life as wretched as it can be ever since. Moreover, he saw how Kraig strongly reacted towards Yanarym; he could never afford to let this woman go.

"What I mean is…" Lyndon held her hands with his and gently stroked them with his thumbs. He was scarcely disgusted. "If we publicized this thing that is going on between us, you would never get your revenge against him. Your efforts would be all trashed in vain, just think about it, Yanarym. You know that I love you, right? I want him to regret what he did to you. I want to see him suffer from hurting you."

You're the trash I see here, Yanarym muttered in her mind annoyance.

"Fuck you," she blurted, "scumbag."

"What...? Did you just cuss?" Lyndon creased his brows. He couldn't believe she cussed at him. Even the way she looked at him changed in an instant. Her eyes stared at him in a way he had never seen her done to him before. No, he had seen it, this was the same stare she had just a while ago. The same hatred in disgust was written all over her visage. She was looking at him with sharp menacing eyes.

"Yes, fuck you, scumbag." She fiercely repeated, emphasizing every word without averting her eyes at him. "It's for Kraig…" she dryly added, faltering her glare directed at him. "Kraig, he is such a scumbag, fuck him," she rattled off, "I am dying to exclaim that to his face."

Lyndon laughed awkwardly, he was in a stupor. For a moment, he believed she was about him but there was no way she would ever call him that. She may be smart but she was a fool in love. "Yeah… Kraig is." He mumbled.

"He is just a fucking piece of trash," Yanarym added as she glared at him. Lyndon stiffened from her gaze until she flashed him the sweetest smile. "I'm glad you are not like him, Lyndon. Like a fucking rotten piece of garbage."

She was a complete idiot when it was about him. She was as quiet as a mouse and obedient as a dog. She was desperate and willing to do anything he would say. She was not a violent person nor a foul-mouthed one, she was modest and reserved. All those horrible things she did to Tiana were his idea, it was his plan. She was against it, yet, she would not oppose him. He knew she would comply with whatever he would command her to do.

... Who is this? The girl who fought not one but those students on the field. She faced them with grit and confidence. She talked clearly—fearlessly. Is she the same person I know? That dreary and ignorant girl? She was far from the Yanarym he used to know. It was as if she was an entirely different person.

"Why would I be like him?" He said, she looked at him with a grin. "I'm nothing like Kraig."

"You're right," she said with a nod. However, her eyes were gleaming with something he could not distinguish. And it was making him feel like he messed up with someone he shouldn't have.

YANARYM left the academy and headed back home, to her new house to take some rest. Her mind was too overwhelmed by everything that had happened until now. Her physical body was recharged by the healing potion but it still felt like her energy was drained to half. She was mentally exhausted.

She just died and came back to life. A moment ago, she was taking a marriage vow with Movu. Then, in the blink of an eye, she was arguing with the main characters of this world. She could still feel the longing from not being able to say goodbye to Movu and the others back in her previous life. Movu must be aggravating for her death. She died to his very eyes.

Why did even Don Falcon have such keen eyesight? How could he fire a bullet straight to the heart? If he missed even just a centimeter at least she could tell Movu to live happily even when she was no longer around.

Guide-sama: "I may be not a human but that is so horrible for you to say, Yanarym."

"Whatever you say, by the way, did Maddi die?"

Guide-sama: "She did. Her job was done."

"What about Yashnile and Yazeno, is Papa fine?"

Guide-sama: "I don't know. I don't have access to the recent world anymore."

"That's sad. I hope they're all okay. Don Falcon was nuts, wasn't he? Just because he's dying from cancer, he couldn't let his son live happily."

Guide-sama: "But you are the villain now. Doesn't that make you the 'crazy' one?"

"I will gladly fulfill my duty to ruin everyone's life in this world, even if I were to be branded as the craziest person they could ever know."
