Chapter 151 - MARKS

"I have two headaches already. I will see him if it's already necessary." Yanarym explained.

"Where are you going?" When she walked out of her room, she saw Lapil coming from the direction of where they were having afternoon snacks. She frowned at him, remembering that he took back the halo-halo that she wanted to eat.

"I'm going to bathe," she replied dryly and turned her back on him. He then rushes to her side and takes the things that she's carrying.

"I'll bring you there."

"No, I can manage."

"I'll bring you there." He said again, sounding more convicted. Yanarym had no choice but to let him do what he wanted. She knew how stubborn this young man was.

This scenario takes her back to the time when she first met him. He was guarding her to go to the river too.

"Why do you look like you are in a worse mood than I am?" She asked as she noticed that he was not smiling as usual. He had this grim face but it was too stoic to notice that he was not in the mood. However, Yanarym knew.

"It's nothing." He replied and they continued to go to the forest together. No one talks to one another that Yanarym felt slightly awkward because she feels that Lapil wanted to talk about something but he doesn't want to open it up. Yet, instead of asking she just tried hard to ignore his sulking. She's sulking too, you know!

As they had reached the river, Lapil did not stop walking. "Where are you going?" She asked and followed him. He did not answer but continued to saunter following the opposite of river flows.

"Lapil," she called him this time stressing his name.

"To the falls, it's good to bathe your body there."

"But I don't want to get my hair wet." He did not reply. It seems like he was not really in the mood to talk.

'What happened to him?'

Guide-sama: "Maki argued with him."

"Oh, love rivals, huh?" She said in her mind and just followed Lapil along the side-river. When they had reached the falls she was amazed at how beautiful the scenery was. Although she knew there were falls on this island, she did not try to go, because it is on the border. Many of the people from the banwa of her father are going here to wash things or bathe.

"It's beautiful here." She commented, Lapil looked at her and finally smiled.

"I'm glad you like it."

"What is there not to like?" She uttered, Lapil walked towards the big stone and took a seat there.

"You go take a bath, I'll watch from here."

"You're going to watch me?"

"It's safer."

"But I have to get naked."

"I saw your naked body twice, there's nothing to hide."

What he said was true, but seeing the shy man on the boat she had a fun time with, was gone. She felt disappointed, she wanted the cutie-patootie personality back. She took off her clothes, did not mind his glazing stares, not removing the bun of her hair, her carcass was completely exposed to him.

"What's this?" Before she could even dive on the river, he strides on her and holds her arms. He turned her around and touched her back with his calloused hands gently.

She blinks her eyes, "What do you mean?"

"This, these bruises." He pointed out again, roaming his palm on her spine. She flinched as their skin brushed against each other. Then, she remembered what it was he was curious about, It was Achis bite marks!

"You don't have to know," she was about to move away but he grabbed her waist and turned her body around again, making her face him.

"I want to know, what is that? Who did that to you?"

"It's nothing---"

"YANAR! What is that?!" She was startled after he screams at her, his eyes are misty red like he was about to cry. Instead of getting scared, she panicked when she saw this expression on his face.

"I said I-it's nothing, what is there to cry?" She said hopelessly reaching out to his face and caressing his cheeks.

"It's because you don't like me." He said honestly and embraced her.

"That's that young Datu's mark, isn't it? He made love to you too, didn't he?" He complains like a child to her neck while crying on her shoulder. As she was naked she could easily feel the dampness that caused his tears. "Why can't I? Why can't we do it too? Is it because we've been together shorter than anyone? Won't you marry me? But I am your future husband! It is supposed to be like that! You are my wife!" He continued to grumble, tightening his hug on her petite body.

Yanarym pressed her lips into a thin line, experiencing a tantrum of a man. This is much worse than Alvan's episodes. Especially, she doesn't know how to coax him. And the answer to his question was such a vacuous reason.

It's not like she can tell him that his penis is so big that she doesn't want to try it! Right?

"There, there, is that why you are sulking?" She pats his back, trying to stop him from crying. He did not answer her but just squeezed her body more.

"Lapil, you know at the boat, I was scared to do it because we are in the middle of the ocean," she started making excuses but he suddenly made gaps in their body and face each other. She immediately saw his newly cried expression and the glimmering hope from his puffy eyes.

"What about now?"

"Huh?" She was stunned.

"We are not in the boat, or in the middle of the ocean, what about now?" He repeated it and she was too dumbfounded to answer. Heeding her reaction, Lapil pressed his lips together.

"I knew it, you don't like me." Yanarym's brows meet.. Headache.
