23 Poisonous Wang Wei

After some time Wang Wei opened his eyes again.

"Hey, man. It's been a few hours, did you succeed?" Long Yue asked.

Wang Wei smiled as he showed his hand he had two light yellow soul jewels. On a little lighter than the other one.

"Yeah, it worked. I am now officially a chi fighter." Wang Wei said with a big smile on his face.

"Well show us what your new soul technique is." Lee Zheng said.

"Okay, let's go outside and find a soul beast on which I can use it. We can use its corpse for cultivation or sell the items we get from it." Wang Wei said.

The three boys went outside. They soon ran into a soul beast it was a three-hundred-year-old sun raccoon.

"Okay, you ready?" Wang Wei said as his second soul jewel began to glow up.

"Come on. Show us." Long Yue said.

The next moment a purple mist shot out from Wang Wei' mouth. When it hit the sun raccoon it immediately started to turn purple and then it fell down. It was dead.

"Wow, what do you call that technique?" Long Yue asked.

"I think I'll call it poison breath. I also have another idea for it." Wang Wei said.

"Really? What are you thinking of?" Lee Zheng asked with a curious look in his eyes.

"Well, what if I first used my snake claws and after that used it on the tips of my snake claws. Then the tips would be poisoned. If that happened, even the smallest scratch could take out an opponent." Wang Wei said.

"Yeah, that may be but it would take you a long time to prepare. And I don't think you can walk on stage with your snake claws. You aren't allowed to do anything before the competition that improves your chances of winning. And I don't even know if it will work. What if the poison is just gas and will not stick." "I could ask you the same thing. Hahaha." The old man said. "I am here because I have something to talk about with you since you broke through to the chi fighter rank."

"How do you know that? I only told my friends and teacher and that jerk Long Sha to intimidate him."

A few hours later Wang Wei stood on the competition stage once again.

The duo competition also started.

The trio competition was also over within a few moments. After the tournament, the boys were stopped by a reporter on their way home.

"Hey boys. I have a few questions is it okay if I ask them?" The reporter said.

"I work for soul expert daily in the prodigy section, I keep an eye on rising talents."

"Okay then, ask away." Long Yue said.

"Well, we have already fought against a lot of soul beasts so that could be a lot of help. And compared to three-thousand-year-old soul beasts these opponents are nothing." Long Yue said.

After that, the reporter asked a few more questions and the boys went back to their hotel. The next competition days all went down the same. Easy victories for the three. Then came the finals for the duo and the trio competition. They both were against glory academy. The three were more fired up than ever.
