Chapter 1467 Serve Her Right

Faye was surprised when Iris' name came up on her phone's screen. Iris was calling her. But how could that be?

The call from Iris was completely unexpected and Faye wondered if she should even answer it or not.

She began to wonder what was going on here. Iris was detained at the police station. Her phone should have been confiscated a long time ago. How could she still be using her phone right now to call Faye? It didn't make any sense.

How could Iris be calling her right now?

Faye was lost in her thoughts.

Iris began to wonder why Faye wasn't answering her phone. She turned and looked at Charles. The color had been drained from her face, but Charles did not notice. He insisted that Iris keep trying to reach Faye, until she answered.

Iris called Faye again. On her second try, Faye finally answered her call.

"Iris! What's going on? You shouldn't be calling me like this. Shouldn't they have confiscated your phone at the station by now? How are you even calling me? What's going on there? Tell me Iris!"

Faye was no fool. She immediately grilled Iris once she answered her call.

Iris wanted to put her on speaker but Charles stopped her in time.

Faye was a keen woman and all her instincts were screaming at her that something was wrong. Perhaps someone was trying to catch her off guard.

away.

Iris fell to the ground, her mouth wide open.

Who was telling the truth and who was telling the lie? Astonished and scared, she had no answer.

Charles went straight home and told Linda everything. He told her about what Faye had done to Walton.

Linda listened attentively as he spoke. Linda smiled gently at Charles. She was not surprised in the least at what had transpired. Iris had reaped what she had sown. It was not surprising that she was now in so much hot water.

She had it coming. All this misfortune befell Iris because of her intent to harm others.

"Anyway, I don't care about her. I have never done any harm to Iris, and she was the one that tried to smear my reputation. I also had nothing to do with any of her brother's misfortunes. This is all that she deserves,"

Linda said with a big grin on her face as she lovingly held Charles' arm.
