Chapter 1425 Coming Across Adrian

Linda had never thought that anyone would be daring enough to smoke at the gate of the Mu's Group.

What surprised her even more was the identity of the man.

"My Lady, isn't that Adrian?"

Bun was about to shout and call his attention, but was stopped by Linda. "Hush!"

Linda motioned for Bun to be quiet and sneaked up to Adrian quietly.

It had been a long time since she last saw him.

To think that he had even learned to smoke now!

When she was close enough, Linda gave him a light pat on the shoulder.

Adrian gave a start at the unexpected contact. The cigarette that he had been smoking fell to the ground as he turned around, ready to snap at whoever had surprised him when he saw Linda. His handsome face, which had been taking on the beginnings of annoyance, quickly lit up with delight.

"Wow! Linda! What are you doing here?" he asked with a smile.

"You bastard. When did you learn to smoke?" Linda answered Adrian's smile with a grin of her own.

"Why? Who says I can't?" he replied cheekily. Then, in a more serious tone, he added, "Why are you here? To check on Charles?"

At this, Linda rolled her eyes at Adrian and said, "Why would I do that? I just came here to bring dinner."

Mischief twinkled in Ad

Potato. Finally, there was a picture of her. It was caught candidly and her profile was clear.

It was her first time to see it. She seemed very happy in the photo and her eyes were twinkling as a bright smile was on her lips. Charles must have taken it in secret.

Her heart warmed at the thought.

After some time of chatting with Adrian, Charles showed up at the office.

He opened the door and walked inside. Without even a single glance at Adrian, he said, "And here I thought there was something wrong with your stomach. It had taken you one hour to go to the toilet."

Adrian snorted. "Can you blame me? I was gonna die of boredom if I stayed longer. All you guys ever talked about was the contract. Why did you even ask me to come when I wasn't even needed there? I got tired of it so I left the room," he said.
