Chapter 428 - 428 Protecting the Young

Leo at first had his eyes open, but he had to close them from the wind that was blowing harshly in his eyes. He opened them once they stopped in the woods just outside the house. Leo got off Claude shakily. "You are a speed demon." 

"Yeah, yeah. It is just because you have not gotten that fast yet." Claude had transformed and walked over you Sephira and Cedric. Completely nude and bent down and hugged Sephira. ~You did well my love.~

Cedric snapped his fingers and a new set of clothes appeared on Claude. "Hello, Leo. Kitty is good now. She cast a spell that covered a lot of land. Getting Sephira to bring her here in her fox form was a wise choice." He turned and was holding Kitty as she slept as a fox. 

Yuki stepped up and was fuming. "You were supposed to protect her Ketan, Claude. You two should know better than to allow her to cast a spell that big." She turned to Leo, "I know that you do not know her limits as of yet but having her set off all the traps then putting up a specific barrier so that uninvited guests would go around in a circle then be brought to their vehicles." She throws her hands in the air.

"Hey, I only asked for her to set off all the traps. I gave her the layout and where I saw all the traps. I never asked for the barrier." Claude held up his hands in defeat. 

Ketan turned to Yuki sharply, "you think I can control her? She never listens to me even if she knows I am right. You need to know that there is a young wolf that runs these woods and a baby fox now. If anything she did it to protect her young." 

Kitty rubbed her head on Cedric's hand then hopped down. She transformed but instead of being n.a.k.e.d she was fully clothed. "Thank you, Cedric. Yuki, Ketan does have a point I wouldn't listen to any of them. I never even told them. I was in my own world and fear flashed in my mind. There was another group of hunters on the way. The ones that got away earlier told their friends and the ones that did not get injured are on their way back with more friends. I couldn't let that happen especially since I am having a commercial tomorrow. Plus with Luke roaming around I would not let him to get killed before these get transferred to him." She held up a blue rune. 

Yuki turned and glared at Kitty. "Kitsune, you should've just asked Cedric to help. He would've helped prepare the spells. Dear, please double-check the spell before she does it herself and I have to resort to dropping her." Yuki glares at Kitty. 

Cedric shook his head and left their sights. ~As I am at it, I will remove all the traps from the property.~ He says this to all the individuals there before he completely disappeared from their sights. 

Yuki then pulls Kitty and disappears into the cave. "You will drink my essence. I can tell that my son is giving you some, but you are forcing him to drink from you." She takes her nail and slices down her wrist. "Drink now." 

Kitty sees the essences and licks her lips. Her canines grow, and she bites the right spot and drinks lightly but then takes a deep gulp. She licks the wound and her eyes shine silver. "I am sorry for worrying you. I didn't mean to do anything bad. You and your company may stay here. I would allow you in the house but that will be too many of us in the same place." 

Yuki took out a handkerchief out and dabbed the corner of Kitty's lips. "That is the most sensible decision that you have made all day. We will stay here. The commercial is a bit of a surprise. Cedric agreed to walk you down the aisle if that is what you like. I am very proud of you even when I am angry at you." She lifts Kitty's head, tilts her head exposing her neck, and bites her neck drinking only a sip. "It is no wonder he loves the taste of your blood. Your hybrid blood and being the life bearer makes it sweeter than ever." 

Letting Yuki do as she pleases Kitty compiles and lets her drink her blood. "I am aware of that. That is why I had him become a guardian before Ketan created a blood bond with me and not the one he d.e.s.i.r.es."

"So that boy has actually found someone. Thank you for your consideration. I will make sure that I get on his case after the wedding. I will not make this an easy escape." Yuki rubs her hands together.

"Who are you going to be pressuring?" Cedric appeared behind Yuki and sniffed the air. You drank Kitty's blood?" He looks at Kitty worried.

"I am fine. It was only a sip and Yuki gave me essence. So it is all even. Thank you for the concern though." Kitty waved her hand and closed her eyes. 

Ketan appeared behind her. "You are drinking the blood of others, Mother?" 

"You two can fight this out. I will return this one to where she belongs." Cedric pulled Kitty away and took her back to Leo.

Leo shook his head and looked at Claude and Sephira. "It is good to meet you both. I know Claude now, but I do not know your name." He turned away. 

Claude shook his head and waited until Sephira was fully transformed until he helped her get dressed. "You can turn back around."

Leo turned and saw the lady standing next to Claude and shook his head. "I am still getting used to the transformations as my adopted son only begun his transformations. Please don't mind me." 

"Before I became a wolf, I was a necromancer. I understand what you mean but after hundreds of years you get used to it. I am Sephira or Hathor, but you didn't hear that from me." She winked and giggled. "Now Ketan, I want you to check on the situation. You can appear and disappears faster than I can get to them and I can't track where their scents have disappeared too."
