Chapter 427 - 427 Another Hunter Encampment

~Do not worry about it. I did not think that Kitsune would be running her mate. I should've known better.~ Claude undressed and leaped into the air and transformed into a wolf that was four times bigger than normal. He stretched and sat in front of the foxes. Claude was a towering blond wolf. He opened his mouth and let his tongue hang out of his mouth making a goofy expression.

~You crazy doofus.~ Kitty's laughing was heard in both the guys' head. She rubbed her head on Claude and then of Leo. ~Erebus, meet Rafe. He is as old as Yuki. He is another father figure that came and walked me through my transformations although I didn't really need the help. Rafe is a good person and one that we can trust. Yes, I used both your true names. It is something that I do not want to hide.~

Leo rubbed back against Kitty. ~If you are good in my fiance's book then you are good in my book. It is a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you Rafe. I am happy to meet more of Kitsune's people even the older ones.~

~You picked a strong partner, Erebus. Kitsune will not steer you wrong. So the targets are in the west. Let's sneak up and Kitsune, do not use too much magic. I will tell you when to make all the traps go off at once. You already set some off. I will help you visualize where they all are. You two sneak while I go and visualize where all the traps are.~ Claude follows the scents and easily avoids all the traps. 

Kitty rubbed her body against Leo and swished her tail in his face before breaking into a run. ~Catch me if you can Erebus.~

Watching her and giving Kitty a bit of a head start, Leo's blood boils in a good way. He takes off after her following her scent and pounces on her back. ~You didn't go very far, love.~

Kitty starts giggling, ~what are you talking about? We are already here.~ She points with her snout, and you could smell the campfire burning.

Leo pushed Kitty down to the ground. ~Stick lower to the ground. You are more likely to be spotted with your beautiful silver fur. Please do not get as close as you did last time.~

~Last time I was going for the kill. This time I am not, so you can trust that I will not get that close this time.~ Kitty laid down on the ground and started the spell. 

Ketan stood behind the foxes and waited for Claude to join. ~I may not always agree with Kitsune's methods, but she usually makes the right calls.~

~So you guys have a total of three encampments. Only this one is in use at this time. Kitsune, open your mind fully to me.~ Claude lays down and looks all business. 

Kitty laid her snout next to his and opened her mind to see everything that he saw. She then extended the spell to cover all the traps. She gets up and sits and nods her head. 

Claude crept forward and sat near the edge of the encampment. ~When I howl, set them all off, Kitsune.~ He takes a deep breath and lifts his head up to the moon and lets out a deep angry howl. 

Hearing her queue all the traps are set off all at once. She lies on the ground breathing a little heavier than normal. ~Leo you shall go and sit next to Rafe. He will lead you. Ahriman will not let anything happen to me.~

Leo went and sat next to Claude. They watched as the human started to scramble when they saw Claude's wolf start to approach they got up and ran towards their trucks. Some of them got their feet stuck in traps, but they hopped into the trucks and tore off leaving one guy behind without anything but a fire. Claude stalked up to the man growling. 

The man got up and ran towards the woods as predicted and straight into Ketan, who was waiting. He grabbed the man and drank all of his blood and essence before tossing the body back to Claude. ~Kitsune, I am suffering.~ 

Claude jumped on the body and tore the flesh apart. Since there was no blood left he dragged the body to where there was a deer carcass that had been drained of blood and made the guy look bloody. He howled once more and was met with a howl from his mate. The next moment another wolf popped into the clearing 

~Seffie!~ Kitty weakly said and tried to get up. Ketan picked her up and carried her to the encampment. He placed her down next to the big black wolf. 

The black wolf rubbed against Kitty before picking her up like a pup. ~I will take her back to Yuki. We will make introductions after I make sure that she is okay, but I promise that I will not harm your mate.~ Sephira takes off carrying Kitty to Yuki.

~Leo, that was my mate Sephira. She really cares about the supernaturals. She is the guardian for Cedric and my life mate. You will get a formal introduction. Ketan go and make sure Yuki knows just why she is weakened.~ Claude stretched and started to walk away from the body. ~We should get cleaned up and get dressed. I will take you to your mate once you are dressed.~ 

~Thank you, I was worried but hearing that she was your mate and the way that Kitty called her told me that she was not going to harm her, and you did not growl or stop your attack. Let's go back to the clothing.~ Leo got up and ran back to the clothing shifted and changed into his clothing. 

Claude crouched down and waited for Leo to be done and indicated for him to climb on his back. Leo went and picked up Claude's clothing. Then climbed on his back and held on for dear life.
