Chapter 425 - 425 Mindlink Battle

"She is our precious daughter. I will do everything in my power to make sure that the world is a safe place for all of us. I know that you will work on the same thing Leo. Are you mad about what happened with Ketan?" Kitty looks at him and waits for a reply.

"Naw, there is nothing that I could've done to stop you. You are right that Ketan needed your blood. He did almost completely turn and that was a bit interesting. Brielle was on the property helping me and the crew set the finishing touches for the commercial. I figured another woman would prove to be useful. She is taking care of Ketan now." Leo looked down at their daughter he made some cooing sounds. 

"Ahhh da." Then a squeal comes form Charlette. 

Kitty nods her head and touches Charlette on her forehead. "You look so beautiful, Sunshine." She ran her hand down the cheek and pulled her hand back when she saw a picture from Charlette. Kitty stopped and touched Charlette's cheek again, and then she smiles. "Our daughter may not be able to speak, but she sees things in pictures. She hears our voices and feels safe. She isn't able to see us clearly yet, but she is happy." 

"That is all a father and mother can ask for. I am glad that you can see something that looks like that. She is our princess. When you are ready for more just let me know, and I will make sure that I give you another beautiful baby." Leo kisses Kitty on the cheek.

Kitty giggles and returns a kiss, "if you had your way you would make sure that I am always with a child, but you must know that it is hard for me to do the things that I need to get done. It is a good thing that you have no control over that and that I am able to control it rather well."

"Tch, it is sad but I understand. Maybe once Charlette is a little older then." Leo laughs at the facial reaction on Kitty's face and Charlette squeals in delight not really understanding what is going on. 

"Maybe, it all depends on when we really hold our wedding. Uniting the two clans, is something that we need to think of first. Hunters and supernaturals working together." Kitty sighs while looking at Leo. 

The front door opens and in walks Ketan alone. He walked in front of the couple and sits on the coffee table. "After a lot of thought I realized that you did it for a reason. You saw something in the future, and it involved the two and if you didn't change him then we would have bigger issues." He doesn't ask this but states it.

"You are correct with that statement. If I didn't do this then we would lose both of them. I do not want to lose the ones that will be helping us out. Just be prepared to do what you can, Ahriman. As there are people that do not want these clans to be united." Kitty stares up at him 

Ketan stares up at him, and he touches her hand and sinks into her thoughts and reads the memory that she saw and jolted away. ~F.u.c.k, JUST HOW CAN YOU KEEP THAT FROM ME, KITSUNE!~ He glares at her.

Not wincing she stares back at him. ~There are many things that I am to keep away from everyone, Ahriman. I am not supposed to go over all my prophetic dreams. Every time I sleep, I dream now. I just don't go over them with everyone. Not even Leo knows how often I see the future.~ Kitty shakes her head and stands up and glares at Ketan. 

Ketan glares back at her just as fiercely and stand up. "Fine I do not agree with this, but you will not allow you to keep everything to yourself."

Kitty pounces on Ketan and teleports him to the cave and pushes him against the wall. "You will not tell a soul. I do not want anyone to know that this is even happening. The only reason you get to know is because you are able to read my mind if I am not expecting it. You should know that by now, that if you do something that I don't want then you run the risk of me loosing control." 

"You are already losing control, Kitsune. You and I know that I should not be able to read your mind like that. I was surprised that you didn't lock that up. You saw Raul get kidnapped and tortured to death. His heart exposed like that, and then they injected something straight into his heart and his eyes went black, and he went crazy. Which also caused Genevieve to change in the same way. You should've just told me." Ketan slams his hand against the wall. 

Kitty lets him go and turns away. "I couldn't allow you to change him. There was a chance that you would drain him. Your thirst is hitting you too strong. There was no other way for this to happen. That is why I had to do is this way. I see thousands of possibilities of what one action could lead to, and I find the safest one for everyone involved. Sorry for not explaining it to you." 

"You will stop sleeping soon." Ketan feels her drop him and walk away. "If you don't want that to happen I will keep drinking your blood." 

Kitty turned away from him, "it is but a wish to continue to be able to dream and relax but with everything that is happening, it is nothing but a wish. A wish that will one day become the normal thing for me. How do you feel after not sleeping much?" 

"Nothing, Kitsune I stopped sleeping a hundred years ago." Ketan sighs and looks away. "It was strange at first but after the first decade is becomes normal. I do rest from time to time, but it is not like sleeping." 

Nodding Kitty turned away and disappeared from his sight going back to the house and sitting next to Leo.

"Is everything okay? You two had a fight through the mind link, so I don't quite understand what is going on." Leo was holding Charlette carefully in his arms as she slept.
