Chapter 424 - 424 Cuddles with Charlette

Ketan disappeared and went straight to Leo. Muttering, he cursed as he left the woods and kicked the tree. 'This is ridiculous.'

Leo jogged over and pulled Ketan back into the woods. "Your face is screaming… You drank Kitty's blood?" He looks confused. 

"That stupid girl of yours is doing things to purposely make me mad enough to drink her blood. She made Peter a pure blood vampire instead on a half vampire. They she ate a flame spell that could've killed her. That is how she forced me to drink her blood. To pull that magic from her." Ketan kicks the tree again. 

Leo lets out a sigh and pushes his hair back. "I can't say that I agree with what she is doing, but I really can't fight her on this. This is between the two of you but from what you guys have told me she and you cannot die. So there really isn't any risk of the two of you dying." 

"F.u.c.k, I know this. It just boils my blood. Feeling her magic mix with mine is not an easy thing. With both of us being hybrids and clan leaders it is never an easy thing. I want her to play by the rules but f.u.c.k," He digs his fingers into the tree while his fingernails extend and slice through the bark. He doesn't stop until he calms down a little. 

Leo looks at Ketan and shakes his head. "It is no wonder that you suffer so much. Kitty antagonizes you and pushes your buttons on purpose. I will try and see what I can do, but you know how she is." He shrugs and watches as Ketan looses his transformation. 

Brielle followed Leo in secret and stood behind the trees listening to what was being said. She was not mad at the fact the Ketan was freaking out over drinking the blood from Kitty, but she was confused at what the issue was. She stepped out and saw that Ketan was starting to vamp out, so she jumped on his back. 

Ketan felt her presence but didn't attack her nor fight her when she jumped on him. He gave in and allowed himself to be subdued by her. "Brielle, what are you doing in the woods?" 

"I am here because I saw Leo leave secretly and thought that maybe something had happened to Kitty but when I saw you I knew that something had happened. I do not care if you need to drink her blood." Brielle starts to tie him up using the vampire restraining ropes and then turns him to face her as she ties him to the tree.

Leo shook his head. "Bree, I will leave him in your care. He should come back to normal in a bit and when he is sound of mind you can let him go free. I am going back to Kitty." He turned and walked back to the house. He walked in the door and could smell the blood in the air. 

Kitty came to him and hugged him. "You didn't need to come and check up on me. Although you know what I did now." 

"That I do. How are you feeling after doing something like that?" Leo turned and hugged Kitty. He lifted her up and carried her to the couch where he laid her down. Then climbed behind her and held her close. 

Kitty snuggles into his body smiling. "To be honest, the flame I ate was something that I created as a diversion from what was going on inside me. I absorbed the half vampire essence as soon as it came out and replaced it with a pure blood one. That is usually a gift that the royals have. Ketan got mad because I did it before he could and without any consolation with him. There is not a lot that can be done about it. I saw that it had to be done today or else it would cause problems tomorrow." 

"I think I understand better now. So that is why he is so mad. Brielle restrained him and tied him to a tree." Leo chuckles and pulls her closer and kisses the nape of her neck while closing his eyes. 

"That is a beautiful picture! I can totally see Ketan turning and not thinking about the hunters being nearby. Then I can totally picture Brielle holding a rope and tying him up effortlessly. Did you know that once a vampire finds their partner they refuse to look at others but with the royals they can and have to take more blood than an average vampire?" Kitty closes her eyes as they started to glaze over. 

"I did not know," Leo holds her close and closes his eyes. A moment later a babble is heard from the bassinet. He sits up and goes to the bassinet and picks up Charlotte. "Hello sweetheart. Who's daddy's little girl?" He looks at her affectionately and walks back to the couch holding her 

Kitty sits up and leans against him after he sits down. "She just ate before I changed Peter to a pure vampire. I sent him and Stella out to feed. She will steer him away from those that are not meant to be food for them. I think that he will feed from her and then an animal. They are a pair but with him becoming a pure vampire he will have to have extra blood and I made it so that he can drink animal blood as they have already formed a blood bond." She reaches out her finger and lets Charlette grip her finger. "You are so strong, Sunshine." 

"She is and she is all ours. The life that we created from a night of l.u.s.t, d.e.s.i.r.e, and love. I knew I loved you from the moment I saw you and I wanted to keep you hidden away from all the monsters in the world." Leo held her while smiling down at her. 

Charlette squealed in happiness kicking her little feet and looked from the two voices happily. She didn't look away nor did she let go of Kitty's finger.
