Ketan walked out on the water and caught her. "Stupid." He laid her down and pushed her arm under the water. 

Luke watched and rushed to the two. "Will Mother be okay?" 

"Yes, this is normal in this process. Next time if I am not there just make sure that the body part that transfers the rune is submerged in the water for a few minutes." Ketan waited before lifting Kitty over to Leo. "Here you are. She is exhausted, I will take you two back to the house after I go and let them know that she fell asleep." Ketan walked away.

Luke rushed back and watched Kitty worriedly. "I'm still worried."

Leo hugged Kitty in his arms. "I trust Ketan. I know that it is hard but there is not a lot that we can do right now. Kitty would not want us to worry and would want us to keep up appearances. You stay here and look after Charlette and then come back to the house in a bit." 

"Yes, I understand and I will do as you say. It is just hard, that is all. I want to do all that I can. It is not exactly easy to watch a loved one suffer." Luke touched Kitty's forehead and sighed. "I will go back and join the party." He got up and went back to mingling with the others. 

Leo held Kitty and lifted her up then started down the path towards the house. "My love, you can hear me right. I will give you all of my being if it will help you." 

Kitty opened her eyes and looked up at him weakly. "No, you can not give me more. You do not create the essence fast enough, yet. You have not been a supernatural long enough to keep up and your essence is shifting. That is hard to deal with. I do not want to risk breaking you." She reaches up and touches his cheek.

"It is not fair that I cannot be of some use to you. It is outrageous and I do not like it but you are right I have not been a supernatural as long as anyone else so it is understandable but I will not like it no matter what." Leo lifts her up and kisses her cheek. 

Ketan caught up with the two and clutched his chest. "F.u.c.k Leo, I wish we shared the same problem. It will be hard on your body. When the essence builds up it is an insane feeling. It hurts so f.u.c.k.i.n.g much." 

Kitty looked at Ketan and shook her head. "We are not far enough away. We cannot risk being stumbled upon." She touches Ketan while in Leo's arms and they all are taken back to the cave. "Where do you want me to drink from?"

Leo placed Kitty on the bed and watched as Ketan started to collapse on the ground. "Ketan, I am curious about what you are feeling. I can see a tremendous amount of pain in your expression."

Ketan lifted his head and sliced the nape of his neck not saying anything but the essence started to seep out. ~Sorry Leo, I can't take it anymore. If it doesn't get removed it would feel like my body is about to explode. It is not a pleasant feeling at all.~ He didn't move and lets the essence leak down his neck. 

Kitty leaned forward and licked the essence off his neck then bit into the cut left by the dagger. She felt Ketan shudder but he did not fight back. She drank his essence deeply and didn't stop until he was at his breaking point. She stopped and looked at Leo. "Darling, I am a dangerous creature." 

"You may be dangerous, you are also the only one that can save the world and change it for the better. Our family is all that is left and is important to us. I know that you worry about everything. I wish I could support you better." Leo was wandering around the cave kitchen. He touched the glasses and carried one over to Ketan. He takes out a normal knife and fills the cup with blood. "I do not know if you can drink my blood or not but it is the least that I can do since you helped Kitsune." 

Kitty grabbed onto Leo's neck and pulled him down. She took the same knife that Ketan used and cut it into his neck. She drank his essence and he sat there cringing. She stopped and healed the wound on his neck and the one on his wrist. "You need to be careful. If you cut yourself in front of me it is going to set me off." She laid down on the bed and closed her eyes.

Ketan picked up the glass and chugged the blood. "Supernatural blood is quite tasty. I do not care about gender. It all tastes pretty much that same. The only difference is the diet of the individual. You and Kitty have the same diet so your blood tastes almost the same but hers is a little sweeter while yours is bitter." He leans against the chair leg catching his breath. "You can see that being brought to the breaking point is painful." 

"That is actually fascinating. I did not know that but in a way that makes sense. The breaking point feels like you are going to die. In all honesty, it is not a pleasant feeling at all. It is painful and very exhausting. None of us are going to be able to leave this cave tonight and that is actually okay. I will sleep next to Kitty but where will you rest?" Leo looked at Ketan in worry.
