Chapter 413 - 413 Perfect Venue

"Mmmmm, that is part of the reason. I just want everyone to know that you will become Mrs. Maslin. My beautiful bride that will make the world envious." Leo wraps his arm around her waist and pulls her out the door. 

Kitty blushes and looks away. "Stop your embarrassing me." She walks with him following Luke and Charlette. 

They come to the barbecue site which is full of cheers and people happily eating and cooking. "Katherine! You are one lucky lady. Just look at this place." Liz moves her arms dramatically, "and you have a hunk of a man." She wiggles her eyebrows at the two. 

Kitty bursts out into laughter. "Liz, did you drink?" She looks around at the scene and pulls out her phone taking pictures and videos. 

Carlos stands behind the grill cooking up a storm with Cindy feeding him some food. Tiana was clinging to Michelle. Janet was feeding Tiana as she clung to Michelle. Luke walked up to the table and Stella walked up to him and offered to hold Charlette. She got a picture of Luke kissing Charlette on the forehead before handing her over. Peter was behind Stella looking at the baby. 

Ketan walked up to the couple. "This is what I want to save. This is precious and the humans get along with the supernatural even though they do not know. We all get along so well." 

"Yes, this is the world I want to protect. The happiness that is here is what is most important. Don't you think so, Darling?" Kitty looked up at him. 

Leo looked into her eyes and kissed her lightly on the lips, "this is the world that my family was trying to build along with you and I agree. It is worth protecting. I will do whatever I can to save it alongside you, my fiance." 

There were hoots and hollers from the production crew members. "KISS HER!" another yelled, "MORE PASSIONATE KISS." They whistled and hollered louder.

Leo chuckled and cupped her cheeks before wrapping an arm around her waist and kissed her deeply. He explored her mouth thoroughly before letting her go. The cheers erupted. 

Ketan shook his head and patted Leo on the back. "I will forever entrust her with you. I can see how much you love her." 

Liz stood there blushing like a fool. "You know you make me want to find love but there is never enough time and I am married to my job." She smiled and hugged Kitty.

Luke walked up with a plate full of food and gave a skewer to Kitty. "Mother, you need to eat. Come with me I want to show you something." He hands it over and walks away.

Kitty takes the skewer and starts eating as she follows Luke. She sees the gazebo and she gasps in awe. She walks a little faster and touches the wood and sighs. "This is amazing."

"Leo built this but never thought that it would come in handy. I use the area as a drawing area and I painted a lot out here." Luke sat down on the edge and looked out at the lake. 

Leo grabbed more food and followed the two. "It is not like I thought that I was going to find the girl of my dreams but now I think I made the right choice back then. Do you think this is an appropriate venue for the reception and wedding?" He sat on the other side of Kitty. 

"This is absolutely the best. I would also like to use this for the commercial. Can you imagine the sun setting and the dance we could do? It would be simply breathtaking." Kitty picked up a second skewer and ate it.

Liz saw where they went and saw the place. 'I can see what the kid meant yesterday. I think that will be perfect.' She goes to the crew and starts planning. 

Cindy overheard and joined in. "I will help you out if you need it."

Kitty rested her head on Leo's shoulder after she was done eating and closed her eyes. "There was a lot that happened. I can feel the panic from the supernaturals. It is going to get dangerous soon." 

"Not so much dangerous, as it will be annoying. I know that you are worried but that is to be expected. They are only scared because the night royals are going around requesting them to move." Leo rubbed her side.

"Something happened and Father's workplace?" Luke looked at them shocked as he cleared his plate. He stopped and looked at the two worriedly.

"Nothing happened to us but I lost some good hunters and Rex passed away. You must have felt a strange shift in the air." Leo said this to Luke and saw him nod his head.

"I did, I was worried that something had happened to Mother. It is not easy to deal with the new sensations." Luke looked over and sighed. 

"It will get easier Luke. I know that. I was granted permission to pass on the next rune to you. I want to do that right away. I will create an image of you eating and me leaning against Leo while we walk out to the water." She kisses Leo's cheek and smiles. 

"Do what you need to do. I will watch from here." He sits there and watches as the two walk out on the water. 

Ketan walks up and stands behind Leo. "It is going to be tricky. With each rune passed it will get easier on everyone. She needs to pass at least one a day. Getting permission is the hard part. That is why she can't do it all at once." 

"I never asked for an explanation but thank you. I will hope that the leaders agree to the transfer but didn't she take it forcefully?" Leo watches the lake not moving.

"The life element bearer has to be careful of the bearers and when the time arises they can protect themselves by bearing the burden of holding onto the element." Ketan watches while explaining.
