Chapter 402 - 402 The Introduction (2)

Kitty picked up the other microphone but stayed backstage. "To be honest I was looking for someone to maybe settle down with but I left him after our night together. I left and went away and never gave Leo my contact information, only a farewell card." 

"Yes, it is that which fueled me and forced me to hunt her down. A lot of you know hunters know what I did and how reckless I was. I found my girl once again and then I found out all sorts of things that I never thought would happen but here we are. Now that she is mine I wanted to introduce you to her." Leo smiled at the baby girl.

"The baby is the child that I kept from our first time together. I forget to make sure that we had safe s.e.x." Kitty walked through the curtain. She walked over to Leo and touched his arm. "But we got a little ball of Sunshine." 

Ketan followed Kitty on the stage to guard her. "I will make sure that you are safe."

"I would like to introduce to you my love, Katherine. As most of you can tell she is not human. That is true but I will be honest that I did not know this myself but it did not stop the feeling that I had for her." Leo kissed Kitty on the cheek.

"Before you guys get into an uproar, I know that this is going to be hard to believe but I had no idea Leo was a hunter. I should've seen the sign but I did not. I am also the Advocate. The most important person in the supernatural world. That is why there is a vampire is here guarding me." Kitty looked at Ketan.

Ketan took the microphone from Kitty, "I was only following orders and that is why you have been seeing a lot of me these days. I am here to make sure that the one that made the supernaturals lives hell... pay." 

One from the crowd stood up and came to the stage, "I am okay with all the information provided. I knew what your parents were trying to do and I know that you will not steer us in the wrong direction." Noah smiled and was holding Clara.

"I would also like to add in that Sandra also gushed that she had the perfect daughter-in-law lined up and that she could not wait for those two to tie the knot. Not a lot of you guys know this but Sandra always said that the Advocate was the one that would unite the hunters and supernaturals together. That is why there was a town that sat aside for a particular race." A female stood up and looked at Noah and nodded. "I am Skyla and I am the one hunter that went to that beautiful double wedding." 

"It is an honour to meet you Skyla. It has been a while since my parents passed on from this world they will forever live on in my heart." Kitty bowed to Skyla.

"No dear, the pleasure is all mine. I did not know who you were but with the grace you have it fit the image that I had of you to a T." Skyla bowed back. "I want you all to think long and hard about why hunters exist. To me, a hunter is those that seek out help no matter what they are. Human, vampire, werewolf, demon, and so on, each one of them deserves a chance at life and we have no right to take that away from anyone."

"Thank you, Skyla. I want each of you to think about that. I know that it will be hard to transition to not killing all targets but this is what I feel is in the best interest for us as an association. My darling fiance is not the only supernatural in my life and I will protect each one the same." Leo looks at the crowd and nods his head. "Brielle and Will have returned and I will introduce you to my second secretary. Lydia, please come out here."

Lydia walked out and took the microphone from Ketan, "Hello everyone, do not think for one moment that you will be able to pull a fast one on me. I decided to become reinstated as a hunter. I have been doing this for years and I will make sure that when Thompson comes back to work that he does not mess up." 

Brielle and Will walked out and Jenna followed closely behind. "I want to say something before you all get mad. Leo is a great person and you do not know what he has been through at an emotional level. It is never easy to lose a loved one. The happiness in his eyes appeared from the night of my engagement party. To me, it looked like he had found his better half. When I first found out Kathrine's identity I was floored. She had been over to my place a handful of times as my wife knew nothing of this side of my life as well as her best friend's life. I will never forget the horror on Leo's face and the way he worked himself to the bone. Six months to find her and it was hell." 

Brielle took the microphone. "I want you guys to know that it was never easy to go against all that I knew but I did not and now I do not regret it. Kitty is my friend and I think that the supernaturals want what we humans want. Love, peace, and a place to call home. I have learned so much for these beings over the last month. They are really not different from us." 

Leo smiled and handed Charlette over to Kitty and then bowed. "I know that I just became your leader but please give my ideals a shot."

Kitty took Charlette and smiled down at her, "hello my little Sunshine. Did you have fun with Daddy? I bet you are missing big brother right now. When we get home you can eat and then see big brother Luke." Her eyes lit up and her gaze softened.
