Chapter 400 - 400 In the Office

"It is my pleasure to be here. We have a lot to discuss and I thought that it would be wise to get a lot of it over with. Leo, do we have enough hunters in the building to hold a meeting? Rex can keep his eyes on the prisoner." Kitty bowed to Asurlon after the hug and then looked at Leo.

Leo picked up his phone and called Rex, "Afternoon, Rex. Can you go and relieve those watching dipshit and make sure that he does not escape. You have my permission to ignore the announcement. I am introducing Kitty as my finance and as the Advocate."

"Vamp boy is there with you right?" Rex asks this.

"He will be. He just relocated Thompson and his daughter and should be back in a moment." Leo replied.

"Good, does this mean you have a different secretary?" He walked into the office and hung up the phone. "Oh, if it isn't Lydia. If you are here then you are reinstated."

"Rex?! You do not look any older than I saw you years ago… this guy was in the overseas association with me." Lydia looked shocked.

"Grandfather, you have a lot of places you worked." Kitty looked at him but did not say much else. 

"Kitten, are you accusing me of anything?" Rex raises an eyebrow. "Lydia, it is good to see that you are well. It is too bad that you are being pulled back into this world."

"I am well, if it was not for my husband I would not have been pulled back but it seems like this is how my life will be and if I become a secretary it will not be like in the past." Lydia looks at Kitty and then back at Rex.

"Long story short Kitten is my granddaughter and I am a demon. It was fun joining the hunter accusations all over the world. I did it so that I could keep track of what was going on and when the one we belonged to overseas shut down I joined this one to watch out for my daughter but I was too late to keep her safe." Rex spills his grievances. 

"Well that is a lot of information but I am glad that I know now. I am going to help out Leo with whatever he needs." Lydia bowed to Rex.

Leo smiled and started to send out the audience call to all the hunters that were nearby. ~Gather in the auditorium as soon as you can. Those that are outsourced right now will be fine to continue working. I will brief you when you return home.~ He looks up at Kitty and pulls her in for a hug. "I must admit that I am a bit nervous right now. I know that everyone will accept you as my wife but will they accept that I took the advocate as my bride?"

"There is nothing that they can do about it." Kitty reaches her hand up and places her palm on his cheek. "I want you to know that it does not matter what everyone else wants but what we want. I want you to be in my life." 

Leo snuggles her hand and pulls her in closer. "I love you and you calm me down." 

There was a knock at the door and in walked Will and Jenna. "Good afternoon, Leo!! Hello, Kitty." 

Jenna ran towards Brielle, "BREEE! I missed you so much." 

Brielle stuck out her foot to stop the girl from jumping on her lap. "You need to calm down. I am holding a baby and so help me god if you wake her up I will send you on a mission so fast and keep you there for the next month." 

Jenna freezes and sees the baby. "Oh my goodness. She is adorable. Where did you get a baby form?" 

Ketan came back into the room chuckling, "Would you believe that is my godchild?" 

"NO! I would never believe you!" Jenna raises her voice at Ketan.

From the loud voice of Jenna, Charlette started crying.

Kitty sighed, "Is this what you had to deal with yesterday, Darling?" She walked over to the three and took the crying Charlette from Brielle. "Little Sunshine, keep resting there is nothing for you to worry about." Kitty rocked Charlette as her tears slowly stopped and looked at Ketan. "What he said isn't a lie. Ketan is her uncle and godfather but nothing will happen to me so he is more of a guardian of her." 

"She is adorable and I will protect her from all that wish to bring her harm. I will also protect you, little sis." Ketan chuckles and walks over to Leo.

"I think that we all know that no one will be able to get at Charlette with so many people watching up for her. Anna loves her and even wants to buy some more toys for her. She asked me if she could get anything for her." Leo shook his head. "I told her to knit her something." 

"That is very sweet of Anna. I love how all your workers will help out. I was worried that Cindy would get overwhelmed with the baby and Tiana but everyone is helping out so much." Kitty looked down at Charlette and we met with the calm blue eyes staring at her. "Sunshine, have you calmed down?" 

Charlette stared at the smoothing voice and reached to grab her hair while blowing bubbles. 

Leo looked at his daughter and reached to hold her. "I will take her. I have not been home much and it would suck for her to not realize who I am." He held her in one arm and smiled down at her. 

Charlette squealed in delight while kicking her little feet out.

Brielle pulled out her phone and snapped the picture and quickly sent it to Sam. ~Just look at this! I cannot believe these two. They are so freakin kute!~

Sam responds back. ~I am so happy. You don't know how much I worried at Kitty. She is a good friend of mine but she was always travelling and moving. It was like she was a free spirit but she is finally rooted. I'm squally and crying.~

~Aw Hun, you are so emotional. You look after that baby and I will keep you updated!~ Brielle giggles and puts away her phone. "Okay time for the big announcement Kitty you should go out as you look."
