Chapter 398 - 398 Decisions Made

~It doesn't matter which parent comes but I will have the little girl and Emerson is ready. I heard that she was sickly. I want to help her get better and I have the rooms set up or I should say Emerson got the rooms set up. I am weakening so I am sleeping more but do not fret! I will be here for a while yet!~ Sylvie tries to sound cheerful.

~You do not need to act with me. I know that you are worried. I will let them know and sleep as much as you need. I am here for you if you need me Sylvie~ Kitty looked at the group. "There is no issue with switching parents. She has everything set up and welcomes either one of you." 

Lydia finally lets Thompson stand up and gave him a hug. "There you have it dear. You are going with Izzy." 

"Mama, I will be a good girl with Papa so that you will be able to work. Will I see you often?" Elizabeth was still clinging to Kitty's neck.

Leo thought for a moment, "I will make sure that Lydia has two days off in a row so that she can spend some time with you." 

Brielle went and sat on the couch and was playing a peek-a-boo game with Charlette. "Peek.. a...BOO!" 

Charlotte watched Brielle hide her face and her eyes went wide but she started giggling and squealing. These sounds cut into the group.

Kitty started giggling and made sure Elizabeth was stable and brought her to the couch. "This little girl is my baby. Her name is Charlette." 

"Charlette, such a beautiful name. She is very adorable." Elizabeth leaned in to look at the baby girl. 

Lydia watched to see what her daughter would do and her expression softened.

Leo went to stand beside Kitty and brought a blanket with him. "I think that is time for the baby girl to eat after Brielle is done playing with her."

Brielle looked at Leo and smiled. I know that you are protective but thank you for letting me hold and play with her." She looked back down ant Charlette. "Do you want some num nums?" 

Kitty put Elizabeth down and sat on the couch. She held out her arms while smiling. "Little Sunshine."

Charlette was smacking her lips together now and looked hungry. 

Brielle giggled and handed her to Kitty. She held her arms out for Elizabeth. "I do not mind if you want to sit on my lap, young one." 

Elizabeth looked at her mother and didn't see any caution in her eyes so she skipped to Brielle. "You are also very pretty."

"Why, thank you, Sweetie. You are as cute at a button." Brielle smiled at the girl, booped her nose, and held her so that she would not fall. 

Lydia sighed but looked happy at the people in the room. "I am glad that I finally found out what you were doing for work. Although why are you in danger, Dear?"

Leo looked back at the couple and coughed, "he did something bad for the money but he did not know what exactly he was doing. That is why I forgave him and made him my secretary. That was all for his safety." 

"And for that, I am in your debt. If I had known exactly what I was doing in the beginning then I wouldn't have done it. I may be stupid at times but I do know right from wrong. My greed clouded my judgement." Thompson bowed his head.

"I wouldn't say greed. I would say your maternal instincts kicked in. The want and need to save your daughter was high." Leo cut in saying this and then looked at Kitty. 

"Her condition is healable. I will work on making a medicine for her once we are back at home. That is if you trust me?" Kitty had set up to feed Charlette and was now feeding her the milk.

Lydia looked at Kitty in shock and she walked over to the couch. "You think you can help Izzy?" 

"I do not think I can, I know that I can. Being a hybrid is rare and I have seen a lot in the last twenty-six years of my life. I will work on it and we will have to see if her body mends from it." Kitty looks up at Lydia.

"I trust you completely. I know that you will not do anything to harm my daughter. You took in another's child and are raising her. If you were not so sweet it would be hard to trust you but you are so sweet." Lydia smiled and pitted Kitty's shoulder. "Izzy, I think that it is time to go with Papa." 

"But-but, I want to hold Charlette. She is so small, cute, and adorable. Can I hold her for a few minutes before we go elsewhere, Mama? Pretty, pretty please?"She looked at Lydia while sitting in Brielle's lap.

"Okay. I do not mind if you want to hold her. My little girl that is your age holds her while sitting on the couch. Sit on the middle cushion and I will hand her to you once she is done eating." Kitty was still feeding Charlette.

Lydia was shocked but pleased. "Thank you for humouring her. I know that it is something that she has asked about. Mama, Papa when will I get a baby sister or brother? I do not think that she realized that she was sick." She shook her head. 

Thompson stayed back to not crowd the couch. He left out a sigh and looked at Ketan. "Is it safe for children to travel the way we are going to travel?" 

"Teleportation? Yeah, it is safe. The baby teleports with Kitty. All I need is for Elizabeth to close her eyes but that goes for you as well. You both are not used to travelling. I would worry that you will get sick." Ketan looks at Thompson. "Are you surprised by your wife?"
