Abby looked at Kitty in shock and then looked at the baby. "Brielle, you know this lady?"

Brielle looked at Kitty then down at the little girl. "I sure do! This is Leo's intended. I am assuming that since you are here you two will be announcing it?"

"Yes, I do believe that is the plan but we wanted to test the front staff and see how they will react to seeing a mother and child. I didn't catch your name dear." Kitty looked at the girl in front of her as she stared at Charlette.

"Abby is my name. It is a pleasure to meet you, Madam. I didn't know that Leo had picked out a partner. It is a pleasant surprise." Abby stared at the baby girl.

"Abby, would you like to hold her? I am sure that Brielle will let you hold her for a short period. I know that Leo sent her to fetch me but we can stay so that you can hold the baby. I will bring her here again." Kitty sat down on the couch.

Brielle held Charlette out to Abby and waited until Abby's arms were in position. "This is Charlette. Leo's daughter."

Abby took Charlette and rocked her, "Hello, little one. I am happy to finally meet you. I want you to know that almost everyone that works here is dedicated to your father. There are not a lot of people that oppose him and if you look anything like your mother you will be a beauty."

Charlette squealed and stared up at Abby. Then she blew bubbles.

"Oh my goodness! So precious. I love her. If you come again please let me hold her again but I do not want to keep Leo waiting." She held out her arms to Brielle.

Brielle carefully took Charlette back. "Hi, Sweetie. Aunty is here, let's go and see Daddy!" She started walking through the halls.

Kitty got up and bowed to Abby and carried the carrier following Brielle. "Leo fired someone already. I can't blame him for doing it but it is interesting to see just how much power he has now."

"Yeah, but in my opinion that bitch had it coming. I never liked her and she made things complicated but she would suck up to Leo, hiding her true face but I like Abby. Leo would not fire her." Brielle took Kitty to Leo's office. She knocked on the door before entering the room.

Kitty followed in afterwards and walked right up to Leo. "Darling, I am glad that we were not separated for that long."

Ketan bowed to Kitty, "I have made sure that this place is safe and I have looked over Leo at your command." He stayed bowed and didn't bother explaining.

"Thank you, Ketan. You can rise as this is not a formal event." Kitty looked at him.

"Yes, but after last night I am even more bound to you in a strange way and that means that I am to treat you differently even if I do not want to." Ketan looked at Brielle and his eyes softened. He got up and walked over to her. "How are you feeling?"

"Nothing bad happened to me last night. It should be me asking you how you are doing not the other way around. Your complexion is a lot better now." Brielle looked at Ketan and smiled.

"Thompson, meet my wife the Advocate. She has helped set up a location for your wife and daughter so that they will be safe until this is all over. You can trust Ketan, even though he is a vampire. He will not attack anyone. I do not know how much you know about supernaturals… I do not know your name." Leo bowed his head.

"My name is Lydia and this girl is Elizabeth. I will be honest I did not know what my husband did for work but after being forced to leave home, I had to fight to get the information out of him. So the most that I know is that there are supernatural beings that are bad and need to be monitored and killed." Lydia glared at her husband.

"I'm sorry! I did not know any other way to help Elizabeth. She is our world and I did not want to lose her." Thompson knelt on the ground and then bowed to grovel at his wife's feet.

"That is a good start. I am Leo the head of the association. I want to give you a better idea of what is going to happen. That is if you will allow me to explain." Leo looked at the couple and waited to see what she had to say on the matter.

"Yes, please. I am all ears." Lydia glared down at Thompson.

"For starters, I want you to know that your husband will not be killing anyone but he has killed in the past. It has been said that supernaturals are the enemy but look in this room can you tell who is human and who is not? There is a misconception and when my parents were alive they worked with the Advocate of the supernatural race. There was a town that was set up so that a peaceful race was living there along with the humans. There is a person that fought all this and tried to trick Thompson for money and I stepped in and saved him now he will work as my personal secretary. If you want you are more than welcome to join our ranks but know that we will be working with the supernaturals."

Lydia stepped on Thompson's back. "This is what you decided to keep from me?! You know if you decided to help you should've just asked. You know that I would've been willing to join as well. Besides, your family knows nothing of this world." Lydia walked to Cedric and handed him her business card. "I am a retired hunter from another association from overseas."

"This is a bit of a shock. Didn't the overseas association disband and scatter?" Brielle asked and rocked Charlette who was gurgling in her arms.
