Chapter 388 - 388 I Need Your Permission Leo

"Medicine boy. You have grown into a fine young man. It has been a bit of a long time since I last saw you and Sylvie." Rex smiled and looked at the two on the stairs. 

"Seriously Rex, you pain in the ass. I am glad that I get to chat with you again. We have some catching up to do. I wonder how long you will be here for?" Emerson looks at Rex smiling. 

"Boy you should watch your words not that I really mind. I know that she is breaking free but she also made her spouse her guardian. I wish I had been able to stop her but what has happened can not be undone. She is a tough cookie. Kitten, you should leave before you lose control again." Rex looked at Ketan and nodded. 

Leo hugged Kitty and held her close. Then he gave her a kiss. "It will not help to drink my essence?" He looked worried and stressed out.

"Only for a brief moment. She has two sets of runes in her body and they are fighting each other which is why her eyes are half blue and half purple. It is not exactly easy to deal with this. I wanted her to be safe but she did so much all at once and I do not need to hear the whole past as I can tell without being told." Rex pulled out a knife and handed it to Leo, "cut your skin with this and you will break inside this time as she is not going to be able to control herself. We will pull her off you and take her to the area that is set aside for the essence drinking." 

Sylvie nodded her head. "I will help in making sure that everything is set up." Sylvie and Emerson left the group and went to the cave. 

Leo took the knife and sliced on his neck as that is where he could feel the most essence building up. "Drink up, Sweetie." 

Kitty saw the essence flowing and licked it up and at the cut she drank deeply and she could feel him weakening but couldn't stop. 

Ketan broke the two ap[art by pulling her away before she drained him. He ported with Kitty to the cave that Sylvie had set up. He held her as she fought him strongly. "Calm down, I will give you the essence you crave, Kitsune." He pulled out the knife in his pocket and slit the same spot Leo had and the red essence began to flow down his neck. 

Kitty stopped fighting and turned around to lick the red essence before she bit into his neck. 

Sylvie brought the creature that was residing in the cave to Ketan and positioned the body so that he would be able to drink. "Ketan, you need to drink both the essence and the blood. I know that you are not used to drinking the essence but it will help calm her down." 

"I will do as you ask. I have had this knife for a while now." He bit into the creature and drank the essence-blood mixture. 

Rex caught Leo and carried him back to the bedroom. Rex touched his heart and saw that he was okay but almost on the brink of death. "This is why you are not supposed to turn a loved one." He sighed and took a different knife and cut the tip of his finger. He let a blood-essence mixture drip into Leo's mouth. "Drink this it will ease the pain for you."

Leo drank the mixture and stopped. He opened his eyes. "I am sorry for the trouble." Leo coughs a little bit then tries to smile. 

"Don't mention it. I was concerned more that she would kill you unintentionally. I will force her to pick another partner to drink from. You are not the only one that can provide for her but convincing her will be hard. It is not the same as being her life partner." Rex sighed before getting up and leaving the room and went to Leo's office. He grabbed two cigars and went back to the room. "You have to nix this deadly habit but then again you are immoral now so, it really no longer holds a threat over you. I would like to suggest the Ketan also provides for her. I can't do it as I am the previous generation. I also did not suffer the same way that she is." 

Leo weakly sat up and leaned on the headboard. "I was not able to stop her from draining all that she wanted. She is truly losing it. Are you sure another partner is going to help?" 

Rex lit the cigar for Leo and handed it to him. "Yes, I am sure. It is rare that the life bearer has one partner, even rarer that they have none. I am the odd one that never bothered to get mine. I will not allow my baby girl to suffer. I need your permission as the first bearer to tie another to her." 

"If it will help then do it. I will not risk her suffering!" Leo puffed on the cigar and looked at Rex. "What do you need me to do?" 

"All I need is your blood. I will take it to Ketan and tie him to her. I know that he is in love with a different girl now. I will not be able to kill him but I will be able to torture him for the rest of his life for thinking about touching my student." Rex smiled evilly. He held a vial and a silver knife. 

Leo took the knife and cut his wrist. He held it over the vail and his blood dripped into the vial and once it was full Rex touched his wrist and the wound healed. "I will take this and bind them together."

"I understand I will finish this and relax in bed for the rest of the evening. Thank you for all your help, Rex." Leo tapped the cigar on the ashtray that was on the nightstand.
