Chapter 377 - 377 Surprise Attack

Leo was about to say something about Kitty but saw Rex shake his head. "What are you two still doing here? I want you to say hello to Clara for me. I will try to see if I can set up a playdate with my adopted daughter and Clara." 

Bell turned and looked at Leo, "another adoption? First the boy and now a girl. What will your future wife think?" 

Leo's phone chimed and Rex opened the phone and looked at the picture. He started laughing and held the phone up. 

Leo walked over and took his phone back. "That is not a photoshoot dress and Luke is next to her. That is a good picture." Leo showed Bell and Noah the picture. "That is my adopted son and my wife to be. She is the one that did not want the little girl to go somewhere else. I hope that she will stop talking in third person soon though."

"Oh, how sweet. It is good that your son and Fiance are getting along. What did you mean by photoshoot?" Bell's eyes glow with excitement. 

"She models overseas so you will not recognize her. I have heard that she is rather popular. She is a very good person. I will introduce you after your vacation. I will be bringing her here on Monday next week. This week is going to be too busy. Unless you guys know my residence at the moment out by the Smokey river?" Leo smiles as if he has thought of something. 

"Ah, the one that is near that town that you built I remember. What about it?" Noah finally seems to have calmed down enough to start to ask questions. 

"Come to my place on Friday and bring Clara with you. Dress nice. I will send you details over the phone." Leo smirks as if he thought of something. 

Rex chuckles, "that is a grand idea, Leo. I like your thinking." Rex made himself at home on the couch. 

"Do not worry it is not anything bad. Just check your text messages on your private phones in an hour. I will send you the information after I register Rex's fingerprints into the system." Leo shrugged and chuckled. 

"Wasn't that all said and done a little while ago?" Noah bravely asked. 

"How often have you seen me in my office boy?" Seeing the fear on Noah's face Rex chuckles, "Relax, I'm not going to eat you, Noah. I do hope that you two will work well with me and if anyone gets out of line on our side of the building I do hope that you will let me know. Trust me I will not allow anyone to hurt you guys." Rex got up and stood behind Leo. "Besides, this one is more evil than I am." He points to Leo.

Noah and Bell look at Leo. Bell thinks about it for a moment, "you know what, you just might be right on that one. Leo is a friendly person but the way he completed those hunts was insane. I did not think that anyone could complete that many hunts and that fast. He cleared two weeks worth of work in four days and spent the rent of the time tracking. If that is not demon-like then I do not know what it."

Rex smiled, "see Leo you worked yourself to the bone."

"Yeah, I did but in the end I saved a lot of individuals. If I didn't then I would've found a town destroyed and my fiance would not be here today nor would the baby have survived. The loss would've been so tragic and I wouldn't want to deal with anything nor anyone." Leo looked back at Rex.

"I still can not believe that my grandbaby is a mother." Rex shook his head, "I understand what happened. Let's go get the fingerprint scanning done shit done so that I set up for my next job." Rex led the way to the exit and waited outside the door. 

"He does not mash words does he?" Noah asked. 

Bell watched as Rex left the room, "His daughter is dead, correct?" 

"His daughter did pass away but it was to save her daughter. Her daughter is now my Fiance." Leo looked at the couple. "Come let's leave the office before Rex becomes impatient." He starts to walk to the door. 

"Whoa, small world. I was not expecting that but in a way that makes sense. The most fierce of the hunters bound by a marriage in an unexpected way." Bell said this and opened the door. 

Noah walked out of the office and looked at Rex in a different light. "Rex, would you like to come over for dinner sometime?" 

Rex looked down at the human and sighed inside. 'Am I growing soft?' He thought for a moment and nodded his head. "I will give you my personal number but I do not know when I will be available to come over so when I get a night off I will let you know."

"That sounds good Rex. I would love to get to know my boss better. Noah, you are finally warming up to working with Rex. I was worried that you would refuse or run away scared." Bell giggled and covered her mouth. 

Leo turned and locked his office and walked with the group to their offices. 

Rex looked at his office door and unlocked the door. He entered the room but held out his arm to stop the rest form entering.

Leo looked around the room and pushed Bell and Noah down to the ground.

Rex stood in front of the door and blocked the blast. "God f.u.c.k.i.n.g damn it. Who the f.u.c.k set this up in my office. When I find out who it was I will kill them." 

~Darling, can you come to the office right away I am worried that someone got injured.~ Leo sent this message to Kitty. 

Kitty purified the containers and looked at Luke. "All I need you to do now is catch the rain watch using these. Do me a favour before you set these up let Liz know that I need an hour no make it two hours and I will be back." Kitty disappeared from their sights. She appeared next to the office door. She looked at Leo on the ground and rushed to his side. "Leo!"
