Chapter 373 - 373 Grandfather, You Returned?

"Thank you, Rex. I really appreciate everything that you did for us." Brielle smiled and was standing at the door just before boarding.

Leo took the phone back, "I created a bonding task for the fighting ones. They are working together to pack up your office. I will bring your and Will's weapons to my office as we can not leave them unattended. Rex will watch my office overnight and tomorrow we will register your fingerprints in the new office." 

"Okay, I am going to hang up now. Take care and I will be home in the morning." Brielle hung up the phone and sat down on the flight. 

Leo closed his phone smiling. "There you have it, Ketan you are to get back on what you started and Rex, I will ask that you watch the suitcases." Leo's phone started to ring and he picked it up, "Sweetie, what can I do for you?"

Kitty had been watching Luke get his picture taken and patted Tiana on the head before she felt a supernatural come near Leo. She hummed and hawed before she picked up her phone and called him. "You have a different supernatural near you. I want to talk to him, please." 

"Okay, I will hand him my phone but I want to let you know that the bond was completed between Stella and Peter. They are currently on their way to track where these hunters are coming from. The ones that keep trespassing onto our property. I thought that you would like to know what is happening." Leo tosses his phone over to Rex.

Rex caught the phone with his hand and placed it up to his ear. "It's me." 

"I know very well who it is, Osiris. I felt your energy. It has been a while since you have willingly returned Grandfather." Kitty was away from the group and listening so that others would not overhear the conversation. 

"You know that I can not die and that there is nothing stopping me. I still hate everyone and everything and very few touched my heart, baby girl. I know that you have had it hard but congratulations on finding your soulmate and for shifting into your rightful place. I can not see you today but maybe later this week. I still have a lot of work to complete." Rex looked at Leo and said that he was smiling. He mouthed the words 'f*ck off.'

Leo started to chuckle and shrugged. "You can't stop me, Rex." Leo picked up the suitcase and went back to his office and placed the case on his desk then went back to his old office and opened the drawers and packed up and was left behind and placed a fancy wrapped box on the desk with a card. 

"Is there a problem with Leo?" Kitty could hear Leo chuckling and she smiled.

"Naw that child is a good person and I am glad that you are the one that snagged him, grandbaby. I hear that you had a baby yourself. It is hard to believe that you finally made a child. When I first asked, you said that you would not until you found the right guy. I am proud of you." He watched Leo and looked at the box in question. 

"Yes, I'm glad that I found the one that was meant to be mine as well. He is the one that won my heart and you know that I am happy to be in love. I always dreamed of finding the right one like the way my parents were. I do have a question though." Kitty looked at a spot on the wall. 

"Hit me, baby girl. If I have the answer then I will give it to you." Rex sat on the top of the desk waiting for the question 'What could I have the answer to?'

"Did you know in the beginning that Leo was my arranged marriage partner?" Kitty finally asked after a moment of silence.

Caught off guard Rex's eyes went wide, "Well, I can't lie to you so yes, I did know about it. I did not think about it until I began working here at the association. I should've told you his name. I'm sorry."

"I am not blaming you, Grandfather. I know that you had a lot going on after you lost Grandmother and Mother must have kept you in the loop in case something happened but what's done is done and cannot be undone. In the end, I still got my destined partner." Kitty smiled and felt a little body wrap around her legs. "I have to go now, Grandfather. I will see you when you have time." She hung up the phone and turned around and saw Tiana. "Is it a tasty treat?" 

"It is so good Mommy. Tiana loves it!" She pulled out the lollipop and was hugging Kitty's legs.

Kitty knelt down and lifted Tiana up. "Good, you should like it as it is a treat that is just for you. I will get the brand name and maybe we can special order some for you once you get some of the other treats we have saved for you."

"So high! Thank you, Mommy!" Tiana giggles.

Luke followed the giggles and saw Kitty was holding Tiana and started to chuckle. "That would make a good picture but I occupied Liz so that you could finish your call, Mother." 

"Thank you, Luke there is a chance that you will get to meet my Grandfather. He is an intimidating individual but I think that you will like him as he does not worry about others." Kitty smiled and a tear ran down her cheek. "Sorry, I am just a little emotional." 

Luke walked up to her, wrapped his arms around both of them, hugged both her and Tiana. "There is absolutely nothing wrong with being emotional. I am glad that you go through the same emotions as everyone else and there is no issue with showing them to us." 

"Mommy, Tiana may not understand but she is happy to be with everyone here." She hugged Kitty's head. "You are one of Tiana's favorite people, Mommy."
