Chapter 318 - 318 Past Stories (2)

"So easily trigger, Ketan. Do you think that she really would go over those memories, Ketan? There is nothing that you really have to worry about as I will stop her before she can divulge your dark past." Emerson says this while chuckling at both of their reactions. "I am willing to bet that she does that just to get a rise out of you." 

"Emerson is right, I wouldn't say something that you wouldn't want to be shared as I do know better. I only pick on you as I know that you are not wanting to take what is yours back." Sylvie smiles and sits back down.

Scarlet looks at Kitty who was sleeping. "I met Kitty when we were sixteen. It was back in high school. I was struggling with something and she rescued me. I think most of us have a past with her that is worth mentioning."

"In school, she was called Kathy and she was always in the art room during her breaks. It was not always known what she was up to in the room but there was a time when I needed a place to hide. I was apparently the school hunk and I hated the unwanted attention. I hid in the art room and saw Kathy painting a fox in the woods. I walked up behind her and saw that the fox almost had a human aura to it. She spoke to me at that time. Her words were, 'you should be able to recognize that this is not a normal being. As you are not normal. Do not worry I made sure that the humans can not hear us. I am strong in concealing magic.' I remember being stunned and I sat down." Alario looked at Scarlet and smiled.

"I saw him enter the room and I got insanely jealous that he was chatting with another girl so I entered the room. Kitty turned towards me and smiled sweetly. She got up and that was when I saw the painting. I remember asking her if it was a fox demon that she was painting and why the fox was a silvery-white color? She giggled and handed me a piece of paper before leaving the room. She was very cryptic with her words but also her actions and I am sure that she still is. I remember opening the paper after she left the room." Scarlet sighed and looked at Alario.

"I read what the message said and all it was a time and place to go to. I was shocked but I had to explain myself for an hour on why I was in a room with another female alone. After school was let out we went back to the art room and waited for Kathy to come back." Alario held Scarlet close. 

"Thank you both for coming. I am happy that you decided to have faith in me Yaurina and Grezhul. Yes, I know your true names. I am Kitsune, the leader of the fox demon clan." Kitty was only lightly sleeping and thought that it would be funny to interrupt the story. 

"Can't sleep, love?" Leo looked down at Kitty and patted her hair softly. 

"It's not that I can't sleep but I am just lightly sleeping and hearing stories of the past are always fun. Each one of you was in my past at some point in time and it is nice to know what you thought about me before. I can always nap later or rest all night. Besides, it is not every day I get to see so many of you in one day." Kitty kept her eyes shut. 

"Kitty, you and I do not have a past but I am glad to be a part of your future." Stella looked at the group and realized that she did not have a close connection to any of them but she felt perfectly safe with all of them. 

"That may be true Stella but you are now a part of our family and all I ask is that you stay with us. You went through a lot and I saw the anguish that you went through. I promise that we will get the one that did this to your family because he is the reason my family lost six people recently and not to mention my parents. I will not allow this to get brushed under the rug. I want peace for all races but I do understand that there are individuals that threaten that. We will get them on our side soon enough. Sorry Alario and Scarlet, I kind of took off there please continue your story." Kitty opened her eyes and looked up at Leo.

Scarlet looked at Kitty and smiled, "you do not need to apologize Kitty it is nice that you filled in your lines. It is okay for you to do as you want. You are always free to do as you please. I will never take it the wrong way." Scarlet bowed slightly and the sat back up, "when Kitty told us who she was I introduced myself. I am indeed Yaurina. I am a necromancer and I decided that I would take Alario as my partner so you can not take him from me." 

"Sorry, Rina is very protective of me. I am Grezhul, also a necromancer and I have chosen Rina to be my partner and I hope that you do not mind us stating this to you." Alario bowed to Kitty. 

"I do not know why you would think that I would want to steal your partner, Yaurina. I have someone that I fated to be with and I see that you two have formed an unbreakable bond. I called you here to ask you to join my cause. I want to make it easier for our kind. I do not want the supernaturals to always be in hiding. I think that we all deserve to live freely and not in fear of the hunters. I continued with my parents' work. Yaurina if you are worried about what happened earlier.
