Chapter 317 - 317 Past Stories (1)

"Since everyone is here and all of us are on the same page I will now state something that is rather important. There is a chance that my powers will spike and if that happens I will have to take back my powers from Leo so he will be a human again." Kitty looked at Ketan and shook her head subtly.

~I won't say anything.~ Ketan looked away from Kitty when he saw her shake his head, "Leo, I trust that you will do what is right. If you are with Kitty then you are on our side and know that there are things that you must do. Even if it takes time there are some things that are beyond your control and that is understandable. We the supernaturals here are all here because we want to make this world a better place for not only supernaturals but also humans. I do not believe that wiping out one or the other races is really going to solve anything." 

"I agree. I am not an outsider anymore and from what I have heard you are doing a great job. I will always follow my clan leader." Cindy smiles at Leo and Kitty.

"I have always sided with Kitsune, well unless she was against me when it came to my clan. The thing I learned is that she is never wrong about these things. It is better to trust be then be blind to something that we don't know. The best thing to do is to follow the one that knows what is going on. Kitty has always been right with her predictions. If it is okay with you could I share that story?" Carlos looks at Kitty and waits for her approval. 

"If you want to share it but do not leave out the fight." Kitty was resting her head on Leo's shoulder. 

Leo pulled her down and let her rest on his lap. "This will be more comfortable and if you need sleep please rest, my love." 

Kitty snuggled in his lap and closed her eyes. Feeling Leo pat her head gently she relaxed. The runes that she brought out faded and disappeared.

"Thank you, Kitsune. So there are a few that we all know. First, Kitsune has premonition dreams. Second, if she says something you must follow it to a T. Third but I believe to be the most important, she is never wrong when it comes to her predictions. When we were young, I think we were eight and six at the time. We had finally settled in a location for six months. Linda and Charles brought Kitty over for a visit. We were playing hide and seek when Kitty, who was hiding in a bush at the time fell over, none of us knew what was going on. Linda saw Kitty on the ground and Kitty spoke only one word...evacuate. Linda chose to heed her words and asked our clan to move. Charles picked up Kitty as she dreamed. It was scary for us kids at the time. Her natural state came out and that was when I learned that she was special." Carlos shook his head and looked up at the ceiling. 

Kitty closed her eyes, "that dream was the tenth one, I was having the dreams every year. They would be random at that point but when something major was going to happen that is when the dreams would hit me. That was the first year that I had been hit with the dreams within the same month. Mother wanted to keep me home but I insisted that I was okay and ready to play with children my age." 

Leo continued to run his hand through her hair and touched her forehead to move the hair off her face in case she decided to open her eyes. "You felt compelled to go?"

"Thank you, Darling. Yes, I felt that something would happen if I did not go. It was hard not following my instincts, ultimately it was Mother and Father decided that it should be safe. I didn't tell them that the reason I wanted to go was because I knew I would be hit with the dream." Kitty enjoyed Leo's hands in her hair. 

"When Kitty woke up from the dream I got mad at her as I did not know what was going on. I didn't want to move and all because of that girl we were being forced to move. I hated her so much at that time but it was years later when she came to visit that I noticed that she was different. I took out everything on the young girl knowing nothing. I didn't understand that she saved my life when I was young." Carlos shrugged his shoulders.

"It is not like that I had meant to uproot the whole clan but that is what had to happen. I must say seeing the little boy crying and yelling at me was pretty cute. I did forgive him, it was not like he knew about my powers. I was happy just to have a friend that was close to my age. Later when we grew up and I came to visit I found out that he had left the pack to do some reflecting and he was also given a task that he must complete. I was happy to hear that he was thinking about the future so strongly. That was before I went to the engagement party. After all that has happened everything has turned out for the better or at least that is how I feel." Kitty's voice faded as she passed out at Leo running his hand through her hair. 

"So now you guys know that she has saved my life and I owe her for that but I must get back to the kitchen and finish dinner. When it is ready I will come and grab all of you." Carlos stood up and patted Cindy on the shoulder before leaving the living room. 

"There are a lot of stories that we can tell you as well." Sylvie looked at Leo and then at Ketan. Her smile turned a little evil as she stared at Ketan.

"No, you will not go over my dark past. I will not allow it!!" Ketan stood up and glared at Sylvie.
