Chapter 308 - 308 The Shift of the Elements

Asurlon got up and took the phone, "I heard that he refused to eat or drink anything and he just passed out on the couch. I will keep my eye on this one. I do hope that the mission is going well. I found two other possible places but I am not sure if they actually belong to Valdis or not. They can be check at a later date."

"Thank you for looking into it. We will be done in about an hour or so. I would like to get home so that I can spend time with my fiance and my baby girl." Leo touched the bridge of his nose. "Just let Alario sleep on the couch."

"Okay, I will let him sleep. Good luck with the last house. I will keep looking into what you asked me too." Asurlon hung up the phone and sighed softly. He started clicking on files on the computer.

Leo hung up the phone and turned to Emerson, "thank you for telling me what you can, I do appreciate it." 

Emerson finished searching the room, "it is not a problem. I can tell that there was a shift in powers for the supernatural beings. You should be careful about the powers that are leaking into you. I am sure that you noticed the shift." 

"Is that what the heaviness in my chest is? There is a shift in the powers? Is that something that has to do with Kitty?" Leo walked to the room next to this one. 

Sylvie came upstairs and saw the two of them. She walked up behind Emerson and placed her head on his back. "It is Leo, the shift is something any supernatural who has been born or turned can feel. I wouldn't be surprised if they start to seek Kitty and Ketan out but if what Ketan said is true then they will be more inclined to find our Mother and Father. The older the generation the better. I mean who in their right mind is going to listen to someone who is still fresh when there are supernaturals that have been alive for thousands of years?" 

"I think I get where you are coming from, but will there not be a draw towards the one of higher standing?" Leo searched this room and went to the last one on this side of the house. 

"There will be… unless she decides to hide from other supernaturals. She can place a barrier around your house but at some time she will have to go into hiding and there will not be a lot of people that will know about where that location is." Sylvie watched as Leo paused, "I am going off with what happened to my Mother and Father."

Yuki carried Kitty to the cave that she had set up and placed her down on the bed. "Young dragons thank you for purifying the water here. It will do her some good to stay here for a little bit but knowing this girl when she wakes up she will go home." Yuki touched her cheek fondly.

Amelia looked at Yuki in shock, "it is an honor to meet both of you. I had heard that you went into hiding. It is an honor to help the one that holds rein over my element. She is an important individual, so it is a great honor to be of some use to her." She bowed, then stood up.

"It is rare for you guys to come to this plain. I am glad that I was finally able to meet one even if you are not connected to me. Both of you are from the water element. I can feel the earth dragons but they have never come to introduce themselves to me." She looked over at Cedric.

"Love, we can not linger here too long as much as I want to stay here and chat. We do need to get away as to not draw attention to this place after all, the barrier for our place will drop soon." Cedric rubbed her shoulders and then looked at Kitty.

Kitty opened her eyes then closed them again and the room was still slightly spinning, "Yuki, Cedric, you need to go do what you have to get done, I will be alright. There is nothing physically wrong. It just made me dizzy and lightheaded. After sleeping a bit longer I will be okay. I trust that you will be able to divert the attention from me. I will try to not create any more complications, besides my powers are all realigning. So even if I wanted to create a fuss I can't do so because of that." Her eyes opened and the swirled colors seemed to be more magnified than normal. 

"Okay, I will hold you to that. Rest up and when you are done resting you shall not come into contact with me unless it is telepathic. When you communicate with me keep it short as I would hate for the link to be discovered." Yuki took her hand away, "let down the barrier at our hideout in five minutes. We will head back there to draw them away from coming to find you."

Cedric bowed his head and hugged Yuki taking her away from there. 

Kitty sighed and looked at Amelia, "Can you feel the shift?"

"Yes, from the moment you took in all the essences. It is stronger for us of the water element. The bearer is the one that helps control us. There is a shift in what you can do? I'm not sure of the workings but you now have a purple essence instead of blue, right?" Wenceslaus looked at Kitty.

"I am not sure if the color changed has happened yet, but I can feel more supernaturals. It is true that they are weakening. I think that I will have to announce myself over the next few years. The transition will be slow as I take the essence from the other bearers. I will probably take over fire first. Unless Yuki keeps coming and giving the earth one to me. This is the first time that I have consumed all four in one sitting. I do feel a lot better than I did before." Kitty tried sitting up and leaned her back against the cave wall. "I must hand it to Ketan. He got this place ready rather fast."
