Chapter 306 - 306 Is Everything Okay?

Yuki smiled and waited until Kitty stopped resisting. She was going to bite Cedric but at the voice of her son, her eyes sparkled mischievously. 

Kitty snaps out of the trance and licks the wound. "Ketan you came slower than I expected. Three of the four colors are flowing in me now. I want more but at the same time, I do not know if I can handle all four. Yuki, please…"

Yuki covers Kitty's mouth with her pointer finger. "No, now is the perfect time, I can tell. The supernaturals are weakening and it is time to come out of hiding. I had wanted to stay here but it is not possible anymore. You drank more than just the essence." Yuki touched Kitty's cheek, "Ahriman, come here please." 

Ketan took some steps forward unable to pull away from the command of his mother. "Why? I thought that she was already at the point that she needed to be at."

"It was never about the matter of why but when. Ketan can you not feel that the supernaturals are weakening a lot. There are so many that have been passing away. I am sure that Kitty had not wanted to become the way that she is but that is how she is." Yuki held out her hand to her son.

"I had a feeling that it would come to this but my seals are still in place. My body can not handle the powers. So they have been sealed in layers, so many layers." Kitsune laid back on the bed, "Ahriman, I am sorry."

Ketan looked at Kitty and saw that she was slightly glowing blue. "No, you should not break the seals. I will not help with that."

"Ahriman, you do not have a say in what we are doing but I do promise that the seals will stay intact. There is a battle that is up and coming. I will come and help with joining you guys. Yuki and I will come out of hiding after this is done. We need to draw attention away from you young ones. Yuki we have been alive for how many years now?" Cedric watched as Ketan became hesitant.

"We have been alive for so long. Three thousand years now, the world hasn't progressed as much as I thought that it would but at the same time with the way things have gone I am not surprised. We used to blend in with society but at one point we stopped and hid away. Always moving, never settling until you came into the picture. Your barrier made it possible for us to live in peace and actually settle in one place." Yuki took Ketan's arm and sliced the skin. His blood and essence ran down his arm and down on Kitty's lips. "Drink up."

Kitty felt the liquid hit her lips. She opened her mouth and lifted her head up to the wound. She sank her teeth in and took the essence. 

Ketan didn't move when she bit him but slowly his eye's clouded and he dropped to one knee. He looked at Cedric who left the room. 

Cedric left the room and came back with a glass of blood. "You will drink this, I already know that you have not bonded with anyone." He held the goblet like glass out to Ketan.

"I hate both of you right now." Ketan grabbed the cup with his free hand. He smelled the blood and looked at his father sharply. "When did you get this?" he downed the cup in one go. 

"Whenever Sylvie would visit she would drain some blood. Not enough to go mad but enough to stabilize you. We never told you this as it was not important at the time and you would never agree with it. We will not force you to take back what is yours but we will make you drink her blood every so often." Cedric took the glass back watching Ketan's eyes glare at him coolly but the urge to attack slowly vanished. 

Kitty stopped drinking and licked the wound. She looked up at Yuki and the room started to spin. She closed her eyes unable to stand the spinning, her consciousness faded as she passed out. 

Yuki got up off of Kitty and patted her cheek. "I will return this one to where she belongs. You still have a task to do. I told you that we would come out of hiding. Ahriman, I am proud of you and you will always be my silly boy." 

Ketan took his arm back and sighed at the words. "Then I will leave her in your care and go back to my sister." Ketan rose up and disappeared from their sight. He went to Sylvie and grabbed her and they both went back to Leo. "Leo, did you have enough time to go over the laminated papers that Kitty found?" 

Leo looked at Ketan and smelled the blood that was lingering in the air off him. ~She is okay. She is resting with my Mother and Father. She took essence from all the bearers I do not know what will happen to her as it is not an experience that has happened before but it seems like my parents had gone over it with her. I didn't know that my parents controlled two of the four elements. Kitty is the only one not connected to my family by blood. At the same time, it makes sense that she is the one who is to be the water bearer. She is the one that can calm any of us down. If it was not for the water I would rage out of control.~ Ketan sighs out loud. 

~I see. That must be hard for you. If she is with your parents than I can trust that she is safe.~ Leo looked at Ketan carefully, "the pages are a great help. It is not every day that I can get the information that is needed. You look a little off are you going to be able to burn down the house?" 

Sylvie looked between the two and looked scared at Ketan's expression. "I know that it is hard. I never wanted you to find out about that. Was it hard to drink the blood?"
