Chapter 300 - 300 Inside the Barn

Brielle looked into the room and saw that Kitty had some silent tears rolling down her cheeks. "Are you okay?" Brielle walked up to her and patted her water back gently. ~She is doing alright but it is a shock to see.~

~Physically I am fine, mentally I am sad. There are so many lives that have been lost and all for a way to kill up when most of us just want to live in peace. I am sad for those that lost their lives for nothing and it upsets me to no end but you are right they are now resting the best that we can do is burn this place to the ground. We can not allow the chemical to go to either your house or your office Leo. Not unless you want me to take my powers back from you?~

Ketan looked at Leo who stopped walking when he heard those words. "I do not think that she means that is a bad way, Leo." He watched as Leo's anger spiked. ~I will burn down the house when you guys are all done in there. I take it that you will bring the two out of the house after they have showered. Multi-layered spells will be difficult for you so please do not push yourself too hard. I know that you want to get this all done but do think about yourself and the ones that are counting on you, as well.~ 

~Just as Ketan said, do not push yourself too hard. I would be extremely sad if something bad were to happen and I need my wife to be to stay alive. I will be waiting for you outside.~ Leo looked at Ketan and slowly calmed back down, "sorry, I am not used to this yet and my emotions get intense sometimes. When I was human I managed to chill the air but as a supernatural, I guess it is more intense."

"It happens that there is nothing that you can do about it. I know how hard that, it can be. I am losing my cool over here as well. I am not even her partner but I have a severe soft spot for her. I will not do anything that would warrant you coming after me. I know my place as I am just a lowly vampire that does not want to force a human into this lifestyle." Ketan sighed and looked at the barn-like building, "The heart rates that are coming from there just escalated."

Sylvie walked through the doors and looked at the humans that were tied up she sighed and then walked up to one of them and he started shaking in fear. She stopped and took a step back to not frighten the human more than she already had. "I am sorry for spooking you. I do not mean you any harm." 

"You are hardly a low vampire," Leo rushed to the door and looked at the humans that were tied up, "This is a set up to show that the supernaturals would kill humans." He walked up to the humans and cut them free. "We are not here to harm any of you but to save you. Sylve and Ketan I want you to take these people back to my office back at the headquarters. I do not want any harm to come to them." ~The hearts beating outside are humans that are petrified. I will have them brought back to Asurlon to take care of not in offing them but to help them get back on track. When we are done with the houses we will be able to go and check up on them but we need to finish this first.~

"Okay, I will help with the transportation of the humans to the hunter headquarters. I think that it would be a good idea to give Asurlon a heads up." Sylvie patted the small human on the shoulder and saw that he had been bitten by a vampire. "You are but a child and are traumatized by this experience. I will not hurt you. I can not drink the blood from a human. I am a bonded vampire and that man is my partner. I will only ever drink his blood." She turned back to Emerson and smiled.

"You are not with that vampire that came here last night? He said that when the week was up he would be using something as a weapon and that we would become his prey." The mother of the boy walked towards her son and held him. 

"Good news is that he did not become bonded with the vampire that took his blood and he was not changed into one of us. I promise that my sister, her spouse, and I will not harm you. That man is the one in charge of the rescue mission so if you have any other information let us know now." Ketan looked at Leo and smiled sadly.

Leo looked at the people, "I am a hunter but not the same as the one that captured you guys. The one that trapped you here is not a hunter anymore and I promise that I will see to it that he does not breathe another breath of air as soon as it is possible. So please move to my office." Leo pulled out his phone and called Asurlon.

Asurlon picked up the phone, "Leo I told you that I would call you when Alario was released into my care I am just waiting for the finalized paperwork."

"That is not why I am calling you right now. I just wanted to let you know that Sylvie and Ketan were going to be bringing live human witnesses to the office. We will need them alive to testify against Valdis. A boy was bitten by a vampire so we need to clean the wound properly and Ketan said that he will not turn into one." Leo said this all in one breath.
