Chapter 296 - 296 A Minor Hunt

Jaxson smiled, "you have my word if anyone beats your score this month I will let you know. I doubt that they will even come close as you are way faster than anyone else here. Kitty, come with me for a walk." 

Kitty walked towards Jaxson, "did you add something new that you want me to see?" 

Jaxson saw that she was following and leads her into the woods towards a new part that they had finished clearing away. "We did but that is not why I am pulling you away. You need to transform and hunt. The obstacle course was good but it is not enough. I can tell that you are itching to transform." He leads her to a caged off part of the forest. "Use the pen I will release a hunting target."

"I-I shouldn't…. If I do it will probably not be a pleasant sight to see." She looked towards the sky and heard a sound deep within the forest. "I should go home."

Jaxson grabbed her arm, "I have seen you brutality before, I can handle it. Do not worry about it, Kitsune. I know that you do not like others to see your savage side but it has been too long since you have hunted with the intentions to kill."

Kitty stepped into the fenced area. She was behind the tree and transformed and slowly breathed in. ~I am ready.~ She hopped out and stared at Jaxson.

Jaxson nodded his head and pressed a button. A wolf was let free into the pen. He watched as the Wolf tried to stalk her. ~This is all up to you. I will not help with the hunt. Have fun.~

~Heh, fun you say?~ Kitty could sense the prey getting closer. She moved around and was now behind the target. She waited a moment before pouncing on the wolf's back. She bites the wolf's neck and pinned the animal down. She let the wolf go and then disappeared into the woods taunting it to follow her. The wolf followed her and seemed dazed at what had happened. Kitty nipped at his legs as he walked past her. She jumped out at him and pinned the wolf down and this time she kept him pinned to the ground. The wolf tried to struggle against her restraining him. She bit his harder and felt his blood in her mouth. 

Jaxson watched but didn't say anything. He saw her taunting the wolf and then leading him into a trap. 'I had a feeling that it could go this way. She needed this more than she would admit.'

Kitty snapped his neck and killed the wolf. She dropped the body of the wolf. She reverted back to her human form and drank the essence of the wolf. She walked back to her clothing and changed back. She could feel the wolf's blood on her chest. "Don't bother releasing another animal Jaxson. I need to go home. Charlette is waiting for me." She pulled out her phone and showed him a picture of the three kids. 

"I will not release another one then," his hand dropped from the button, "Luke is a perfect werewolf. I am glad that you and Carlos helped him with his first transformation. I did not think that he would finally agree to my retirement."  

"He is a good kid. Jaxson, you have fifty more years still but I think now is the right time to get him used to, how to run everything. I am on your side in this case but let him have the freedom to choose where he is located. He is the type of person that needs a little freedom. The two that are under his direct command will be a good start. Have two to three clan mates transfer over every two months. I will convince him from my end. I will get Cindy to help as well. I know to get through to him we will have to ask her to help. She will not mind. I will fill her in when I get home." Kitty put her phone away and smiled. 

Jaxson pulled out a handkerchief and wiped her cheek, "You have blood splattered on your cheek." He wiped it away, "I thought that you would torture the wolf more. Was it giving off a lot of fear? I could not tell from the sideline."

"All the fear," her body shuddered," I will head home now. I need to wash the scent of blood off and then I deal with everything else that I need to deal with after that. Oh, before I forget, there was a supernatural map that was found. I know that you have moved just recently so you will be safe but I want you to be on your toes. There is a hunter that is trying to drive the supernaturals mad." She looked at Jaxson. 

"If you are saying this then I will abide by it. If we need to move then we will do so. Just keep me informed on what you would like done." Jaxson bowed his head to Kitty, "We are not from your element but I appreciate that you treat us like we are Kitsune."

"You may not be mine but our races are closely linked. I would not like any harm to come from this. I will always treat the Okami clam as my clan members." Kitty patted Jaxson on the shoulder then gave him a short hug. "I will come to see you again soon. Charlette will come with me and you can meet the baby girl, Farther." She stepped back and saw his startled expression before she left his sight. She appeared in her bathroom. She tore off her clothes and hopped into the shower washing away the blood. 

Leo and Carlos finished the floor and Carlos looked at Leo, "How are you feeling? I know that the first transformation is different for each being but you saw Kitty's gentle side I bet. She will crave a real hunt in her transformed form soon. Will you be able to watch as she kills a creature?"
