Chapter 295 - 295 Game Challenge

Kitty got up and walked back to Jaxson, "are the grounds clear?"

"They should be. You can go ahead and use them. You did a lot of work in one day." Jaxson carried some porridge to the two and set the bowls down, "please eat and recover."

"Purrfect!" Kitty jumped up and looked at Sylvie and Carlos, "you both have something that you must do. So go ahead and I will see you both back at the house. I will go for a run and then head home. It has been a while since I used the grounds here." 

"Have fun. See you back at the house." Carlos waved at Kitty then he and Sylvie left to go back to Leo. 

Leo searched each of the rooms and slowly wrote beside the rooms on what needed to be packed up when Sylvie and Carlos finally returned. "That took a little while, is everything alright?"

"Kitty was there and so some things had to be dealt with before I could leave and since she was there it made it a lot more easier. She, herself seemed fine," Carlos sighed, "Why must things be so easy for her? I swear one day I will repay my debt to her. Saving so many from my father's clan that are slowly becoming mine to command." 

Sylvie walked towards Leo and touched his shoulder, "she looks well and she got some rare essence but make sure that she does not overdo it." 

"Emerson is on the main floor with Will. You can head up with them. I will check on her when we finish with all the work that needs to get down." Leo smiled at Sylvie and then nodded that he knew what she wanted him to do. ~Love, are you doing okay?~ 

Kitty walked out of the tent and walked straight to the grounds. ~I've got too much energy. I have to go for a run. I am still at Jaxson's place. The leader will keep me safe. I am going to use their grounds. I say grounds but really it is just an obstacle course. I will burn more energy that way. I will bring you here to run through it one day.~ Kitty stretched outside the entrance. 

~That's great then. Have fun and we have almost finished in second place. After we finish here we will go and we just might actually be able to complete the other two places like I wanted to.~ Leo finished with the last room and signaled for Carlos to help him move a box. 

~Okay, I'm about to kill the top score for this month.~ Kitty stood at the entrance and a werewolf looked at her questioningly. 

"Brent, you won't be able to beat the score now that she is here." An older lady walked up to Kitty and quickly gave her a hug.

"Gloria!" Kitty returned her hug happily, "I want to beat this month's score. Will you time me, please?" 

Gloria stepped back and looked at her closely, "I think that you should set it so that it will be near impossible to beat. Current completion time is five minutes." 

"Only five minutes, Carlos must have not completed his run through the last time he was here. I am ready to start when you are." Kitty jumped to the opening. 

Brent looked at the female and scoffed, "if you beat that time I will chew on my left slipper." 

"You better hold to the promise!" Kitty smiled evilly. 

"Wrong move kid. You better be ready to chew on that slipper." Jaxson walked up to next to him, "No magic!"

"Who needs magic to complete this!" Kitty bent down at the starting line.

"ON YOUR MARK...GET SET….GO!!!!" Gloria yelled.

Kitty took off and touched each of the rings effortlessly. She reached the ending goal in one minute. "Jaxson you moved them around. That made me slower. Have you perfected the art on shifting them yet?"

"Nothing like what you could set up with your magic but I have been able to shift them around. I see that you hit all thirty targets, well done." Jaxson reached out and patted her head. 

"So little wolf, I believe that you said if I beat the top score you would chew on your left slipper? Go and fetch it. While you do that I will go ahead and do another run through." She hit the reset button and looked at Gloria. 

"If that is what you wish. Get ready… and GO!" The timer started at the start of go.

Kitty felt her body accelerate and the speed she traveled at was normal for her, each target was in a new location. She reached the end. The timer stopped at thirty-five seconds. "Now that is better and all forty targets were hit. I like that you have a different amount each time." 

"You inspired me. You said that it was not enough of a challenge. Completing thirty targets in fifteen seconds. I thought you were joking but you did as you said you would. I am glad that you approve of the upgrades," Jaxson smiled.

"It was exhilarating! I loved it. The upgrades are exactly what they needed to be. I think that it was a challenge for your wolves as the record was five minutes. I think that I will do the extreme setting. What's the goal from that?" Kity's eyes sparkled. 

Gloria thought about it, Brent it the holder for that one and the timing is ten minutes and accuracy was ninety-five percent." 

Brent came back and saw that the map was set up for the extreme route. "I am so glad that I made it back for this."

Kitty set herself up at the entrance and waited. Once Gloria yelled go and she took off pressing the first ring at the entrance gate. Each ring was hit and she completes the track in two minutes with all targets hit. 

Brent walked up to her, "I admit defeat," and chewed on his slipper. 

Kitty giggled and patted him on the shoulder. "Good luck beating those scores. When you get closer let Jaxson known. He will call me back and I swear I will top them just so that you have a challenge."
