Chapter 270 270 Amaris and Lucifer

"I know what must be done. I will give you as much blood as you could need, Amaris." He walked up to Kitty and touched her cheek. "What are you dreaming about young one?"

"Lucifer, it has been how long since we last left this area? I know that we are in hiding as we are being targeted but I want to see the daylight again." She walked towards Kitty and climbed over top of her. "The vision you were having has faded come back to the world of the living."

"Amaris, you should not have brought me here. It will only bring you issues." Kitty weakly opened her eyes and the colored swirled deeply.

"That does not matter anymore. You are supposed to take over my position as the Queen of the Supernaturals. You will go through as much as I have. Stop talking and drink." Amaris sat down at the end of the table then lifted Kitty's body up and placed her head on her neck.

Kitty shivered and saw the ebony eyes staring at her. "Are you sure about this? I do not know if I will be able to stop."

Lucifer stepped forward and cut Amaris's shoulder using the ancient knife. "Drink I will feed my wife. It is not like I haven't seen her lose her mind before. If I could handle it sixteen years ago I will be able to handle it now."

Kitty shook her head in understanding and bit into Amaris's bleeding neck. Kitty slowly drank the essence but after the first five minutes, she tried to stop.

"You are not healed enough, take more Kitsune!" Amaris commanded Kitty.

Kitty heard the command and stopped for a moment then said, "I wish that you would not use commands on me. They are almost ineffective. I can see your essence dwindling and my family must be freaking out."

"You need to drink more to last the rest of the week. I know that Ketan was going to give you more of his essence but if we let you do that now, he would die and you do not want that to happen. I know this is hard but remember that once I give my wife my blood her essence gets instantly restored. Which is why we wanted you to take Ketan's in the first place. Once he gets a partner he would be able to provide you with enough essence. Sylvie is no longer able to keep up with the task. We are aware that she wouldn't be able to handle it anymore." Lucifer stepped forward and held his wrist to Amaris.

Amaris's eyes shone and she licked the blood that had trickled from the wound on his wrist. Her fangs extended and she sank them into the cut and slowly drank his blood.

Kitty watched the essence being restored and then bite back into Amaris's neck she took the essence and this time didn't stop until she felt full. She licked the wound and then her body slumped over.

Amaris stopped drinking from Lucifer's wrist and watched as he caught, Kitty. She hopped off the table unsteady and grabbed the edge of the table with her breathing labored. "Feed me more... please."

Lucifer laid Kitty down and then turned to his wife. He picked her up and carried her to the couch where he exposed his neck to her. "Drink all that you need. I was lucky that she managed to free me from the demon. I have a debt to repay to that young one and you are only sparing her for a short time."

"Yes, I am aware that this is only a short quick fix but it will help her last until the others are ready and prepared beside it seems like our son is getting stronger." Unable to hold back she positioned herself so that she can lean on his chest and bite the nape of his neck. She drank his blood deeply and stopped thinking about anything else.

Leo jumped up from the couch and started panicking. "What just happened?"

"They now know the situation Ketan. What are you going to do?" Sylvie looked at the spot that Kitty had been in.

"Fuck." Ketan let go of Brielle and disappeared trying to get where Kitty was. He stood at the edge of the forest and waited.

"Sorry, Leo. Do not panic. Kitty will come back and she will be better than when she left. Father has summoned her. It was his magic I saw. He now knows that I can not sustain Kitty anymore. I am sure that after Kitty stabilizes she will be returned or she will leave on her own." Sylvie leaned against the wall and looked at Emerson.

Leo looked at Sylvie and tried to calm down. "Your father took my fiance away, but what can he do to help?"

"Mother will give her the essence to tide her over. There is nothing to fear but Ketan will try to enter their place and I hope that he remembers that without permission he can not enter that place." Sylvie looked out the window in the living room and couldn't connect with either one of them and shook her head.

"I know the connection is closed on my end as well." Leo sat back down and glared out the window.

Luke got up and patted Leo on the shoulder, "I will trust that what Sylvie has said is true and that Mother is safe. For now, let's look after Charlette."

Leo nodded his head and sat there waiting for what felt like an eternity.

Kitty woke up on the table and climbed off but instead of being able to stand she collapsed on the floor.

Lucifer walked out if the hiding spot after laying Amaris on the couch. "What right do you think that you have to come here? I warned you that if you did not choose someone that this would happen. Are you trying to escalate your sister's death?"
