Chapter 266 266 Why Sylvie is Alive Today

Kitty looked at Leo, "What Ketan said is true. I could become a food source for him and that would not be good for him as my blood is poison but at the same time, he can't stop drinking it. I think as long as he does not drink it for a while then we will be safe but if he gives in and drinks Brielle's blood then the issue would be resolved."

"I trust both of you. Kitsune, I know why you are helping him out but it causing you to suffer too much. How much blood does he take at a time and is there anything that I can do to help?" Leo touched her cheek.

There was a knock at the door, "Ketan, if I hadn't asked Sylvie to follow you guys I would not have known that you are suffering so much I am sorry that I am causing you so many problems. Please open the door. Please don't lock me out of your life before I even get to make the choice of what to do." Brielle started to cry and slide down on the floor in front of the door.

Ketan's heart broke at the sound of her silent tears. He disappeared and then took Brielle away.  ~You win this round again. I hate you so much.~

~Yes, yes. Just remember that you need to bite multiple times for it to take effect.~ Kitty touched Leo's arm and pointed to beside her and waited for him to move onto the bed. "It really wasn't much, only a few mouthfuls. I am a ticking time bomb because of the seals."

"If there is something that I can do for you, you know that I will do it. I am yours to command but with who you are is there anything that I can actually do?" Leo climbed onto the bed and lays next to her and waited to see what she wanted from him.

"I can't take your essence and that is because you do not hold enough in your body for me to take, all you can do is hold me while I sleep. I am too weak, I took the essence from the creature in the cave but four gulps of blood is taxing for my body. As I said my blood is a poison. If I was weaker my blood would be a great treat but as I am a more powerful being. I know that I have said this in the past my father did not train me well in the arts of magic but I did a lot of self-studying. Some of my self study was things that Ketan told me to study. I can not disobey a request from the brother of the one that has been sedating my powers. That is one of the reasons I want my powers back. I do not want to be a burden on each of them. There is a chance that when I get my powers back you will not be able to handle it. I may need to take back my demon seal from you. I do hope that it does not come to that though." Kitty snuggled into his embrace.

"Stop, thinking about this for now and rest up. There is a lot that is going to go on. All of this happening at once is not helping you think straight. I want you to take a deep breath and then remember that I am yours and you can do as you need to. If I can not handle it when you powers are fully back then you will have no choice but to release me from your demon powers and I understand that it is for my own good. I will not leave you even if I go back to being a human. I will stay with no matter what happens, for as long as time will permit it." Leo held onto her and then let out a slight sigh.

"Sorry, I think I am too weak to think about anything else. I will try and get some sleep now. I think after some sleep I will feel better in the morning. Make sure that they wake me up to feed Charlette." Kitty's eyes slowly close and slowly she drifts into a slumber. Leo looked down at her as her breathing slowly evens out and he could hear Sylvie at the door. "Sylvie, so long as Kitty does not wake up you may enter."

Sylvie was holding Charlette and she opened the door. She whispered, "I should've told you that giving her blood makes her weak maybe we could've stopped this from happening."

"There is nothing stopping Kitty from doing what she wants. I am sure that the others are going to be concerned. Do you know where he took her blood?" Leo didn't move.

"You are right Kitty will not stop just because we ask. She has her way of dealing with things. It was her wrist. Kitsune only every fed him from her left wrist. I think that is because it is close to heart and her blood would be more potent than he would expect. Usually one gulp maybe two but as I weaken he gains some powers do you want to hear why I am alive?" Sylvie looks at Leo and waits for his reply.

"Her left wrist at least it is not damaged. Kitty must have healed the wound as Ketan would've been too out of it. I do but I also do not want it to disturb Kitty's sleep. If you think she will not wake up I will hear what you have to say." Leo touched Kitty's hair gently making sure that she would not wake up.

"She will sleep for a while. You could move if you choose too and she would not be able to notice but that is beside the point. One hundred and seventy-seven years ago. Ketan was born but his powers great and his body could not handle it. Our father then created me so that he would live. I was speed grown in a matter of minutes. I was not supposed to be born but Father brought me back to life. I was the same flesh and blood as Ketan. I am not completely sure how the process worked. I wasn't told about this until we were ten. Ketan had no idea and I knew that I was created so that he could live and so that the world would be balanced. It has been hard holding his powers.  I was told all this information and Ketan was kept in the dark. I remember asking if I was really only created to save Ketan. Our Father said yes and no. He said he needed Ketan's powers locked away and he did not regret the choice but Mother also said the reason it was no was because I was growing inside her but Ketan had killed me in the womb. So that is why I exist." Sylvie looked at Lao and wanted to see what he thought about this.
