Chapter 243 243 Asmoday is Finally Free

"I see so this was a tough decision for all parties involved. I am glad that this place is empty. We are looking for anything that could be like a spellbook or have to do with a chemical. Anything that looks suspicious will need to be boxed up but the vital and rare documents must be brought back to my place." Leo smiles and the group disperses and got to work.

Kitty watched as they left the house. She stopped her tears and looked at Ketan, "do you remember what happened sixteen years ago now?"

"Yes, I remember everything that happened on that day. It was so long ago but it was something that had to happen and Father will be pleased to be free of the demon and the Demon will be happy to be free. I can feel him here inside of me. What is the price that you must pay to free him?" Ketan looks at Kitty and watches her reaction to his question.

"I can not go into details. We need to help the demon before he takes over your body completely. I do not want my efforts in the past to be wasted. Luke, Cindy, and Nathan, please take care of Tiana. I will come out once the spell has succeeded." Kitty looked at those that were sitting at the table finishing off the food that was on the table.

"You got it, Mother. We will leave you alone and when you need us we will be there. Tiana, we will color downstairs instead of in the nursery. I do not want Mother to be disturbed." Luke looked at Kitty and nodded understanding that there was nothing that he could do to help.

"If there is anything that you need from me in a magical sense I will be here in the kitchen. Just keep me informed of what you could need. I am at your disposal as you are the loved one of the one that saved me but also the one that saved my loved one. I hope that Kyra will recover swiftly." Nathan bowed his head to Kitty.

"Tiana and Big Brother will put on a movie while coloring. Tiana would like to watch Up! Scary Auntie will watch with Tiana right?" Tiana looked at Stella.

"I will watch any movie you want with you. Do you want to get a plushie to watch with us? You can color while watching the movie. Cindy, I will help you with looking after Tiana. Do what preparations you might need to in case the baby comes early." Stella helped Tiana out of the chair and carried her up to the bedroom to wash up and grab a plushie.

"Thank you, everyone. I will prepare the necessities in case the baby comes early." Cindy got up and rushed up to her bedroom.

"Ketan, we need to go up to the room and I am sure that your Father will come and check and see how things are going." Kitty leads Ketan up to the room and gently closed the door.

Asmoday took over Ketan's body, "I am almost free Kitsune. I can feel my powers seeping back to me. It has been a while since we last saw each other. Your little one will be born safely."

"Thank you for the reassurance. I remember quite well what we promised is that still something that you will stick to?" Kitty touched her stomach and smiled.

"I made you a promise that if I was freed that I would not interfere with the family unless that needed me but you are paying the price for them. It took sixteen years for the spell to take effect. I will let you have a peaceful time for eight years and come back for my payment. I will not know what the payment will be until that time but you must be willing to pay it." Asmoday had seen her future and knew what he wanted from her but that was something he would ask when the time came.

"Of course, you should know that I was serious about the pact. I will abide by it and eight years from now when you come for what you want, I will have to give it to you. All because you were the reason I was able to live this long life." Kitty reaches out and draws out Asmoday from Ketan.

Asmoday felt his soul separate from Ketan and Ketan's body crumpled to the ground. "That will have been hard on the kid. I will give him a little pick me up." Asmoday picked up Ketan and laid him down on the bed. He placed his hand over Ketan's forehead then shared a little power with him. "Come to me." Kitty heard the command from the demon and went up to him. He placed his hand on her right side. "With this mark, you are the bearer of the pact that we have. I will keep my eye on you and be careful that you do not die."

"Yes, I will be careful Asmoday. I am glad that you were finally freed. Do you know how the one you were entrapped in is doing?" Kitty looks at him curiously and then touches her side gently. 'It does not hurt and I wonder what the mark looks like I would guess it will have to do with his demon tribe.'

Asmoday thinks for a moment and then checks on the man whom he got to know so well. "He looks like he is suffering but it will pass. I was a part of him for so long and now that we are separated it will take us both time to get used to being alone. I will keep checking up on him while I have the time. I hope that he likes all that I am doing to keep our friendship going. I do know that I put him through hell and though I wanted freedom. It was only when we met you, that I agreed to let you try. I had a feeling that you would be able to do it. I was not wrong in trusting you. I promise that I will not bother you much unless you call me. I will see you again in eight years." Asmoday poofs away in a cloud of black smoke.
