Chapter 242 242 The Spell From the Pas

"Oh, Ketan are you volunteering to help out? Do not worry I was going to ask for your help but you are busy helping Leo. I was going to ask Sylvie." Kitty didn't bother turning around as she knew that he was there.

"Yes, I am. I was told that I was not allowed to go because Sylvie saw my eyes when I went inside that house. I guess they are not reverting back to the normal color. I know that my father said that is could happen but I did not think that it would happen yet." Ketan mumbles the last bit.

"Demon eyes. Your eyes are red but are also black. Blacker than the ace of spades. It is not every day that you can see a demon manifest inside a vampire." Tobias looked at Ketan's eyes in awe.

"It seems like Asmoday will finally escape your father's grasp. I am glad that I helped them when I was younger. Sixteen years ago I helped the demon escape but we were not sure if it would work. I am sure your father is in excruciating amounts of pain right now. Take me home Ketan. I need to be at home when the demon comes out." Kitty turned to Nettie and Tobias, "you both stay safe and I will contact you if I find anything out."

Ketan touched Kitty's shoulder and the two were back in the dining room. "We have returned and I will not be able to go with you Leo but Sylvie is taking my place."

Sylvie looked at Kitty and saw the concern and was a bit surprised. She was going to get up but when Kitty gave her a look of do not move. ~What is going on?~

"It's your father Sylvie. I need Ketan to stay and everyone needs to stay away from Sylvie and Emerson's room until I say it is safe to enter. I am sure that he is suffering immensely right now. I will do what I can to help out but I think this will place some strain on my body so there is a chance that the baby may come early. I can tell you right now if the baby is born early the baby will be small but it has fully developed so Cindy I need you to be ready at any point if the baby comes. I have to finish what I started sixteen years ago." Kitty looked at the group.

"If you need me home just tell me and I will put aside all of the work that I had planned for the day. You and the baby are more important to me." Leo got up and held Kitty's cheeks in the palms of his hands. He leaned down and kissed the corners of her eyes. "There is no reason for you to cry my sweet. I want you to be safe and I want the baby to be safe. Just let us know what you need for us to do."

Sylvie got up and wrapped her hands around Ketan's neck. "This is one of the reasons I was trying to push you to get things done sooner rather than later. I will go with Leo and company but you better be prepared to handle my wrath when you have recovered." She releases Ketan and whispers in his ears, "you better survive this."

Carlos looked at Cindy and watched as she shakes her head. Carlos stands up and looks at everyone slowly, "since we do not know what is going on you will need to enlighten us later but do what you need to get done and we will listen after it is all said and done. Leo, we need to get everything done as quickly as possible."

Leo hugged Kitty one last time. "I will be only a message away. Let us know when you need us to come back home. I want to be here when the baby is born so do not forget to bring us back."

Sylvie and Emerson walked away from Ketan. They touched Leo and Carlos's shoulder and appeared at the next location. "My brother and Kitty helped a demon that was trapped within my father sixteen years ago. It was then that the spell was activated to draw the demon away. We were told that when Ketan's eyes turned black that was when it would be safe to extract the demon from both my father and brother. Kitty herself prepared the spell. She was only ten when she prepared that spell and that was before her powers were sealed. The reason Ketan does not remember is because of the spell that wiped his memory of this but he knows about the black eyes as Father had explained that much to him."

"My only question is how safe is this spell?" Leo walked up to the front door and unlocked it.

Carlos was shocked by the news, "that actually explains why my Father took care of Kitty for a month. Did he know what kind of magic she cast on him?"

"I think he suspected but was also told not to dwell on it as there was too much going on at the time. I told you that I volunteered to help Kitty what Ketan does not remember is that he wanted to do it but my compatibility with the demon was bad so Ketan had to do that instead. Your father was informed that Kitty would need help from Linda and Charles. That was before they passed away. They had to do some things but Kitty was not well enough to move around with them. There are no life forms in the house. I can not sense anything from anywhere within the household." Sylvie looked at the house.

"It is convenient that you are with us. I am sure that if we asked Kitty would tell us but you are here and I can tell that you remember everything that happened first hand. I do remember her having a month-long stay with us. She was a bit different and right now she is closer to how she used to be," Carlos commented.
