Book 2: Chapter 12 (9/12)

Watcher Zorim appeared and congratulated Flint for successfully killing Kain. She kept her promise and revived Nambra Furivel then let her drink a God Potion so she can become a God-tier Warrior. After that, Flint and Nambra were teleported to the higher realms where they can be happy together.

Nambra looked Flint in the eyes and said, "I know you will find a way to save me, my favorite bodyguard."

Flint said, "I have sworn to protect you for eternity. We won't ever be separate again, not while I'm still alive."

Flint and Nambra kissed as they were happy to reunite once again.

"Should we chop his head off just in case he can somehow recover himself?" Sizouze asked Kain as they had successfully cut off Flint's legs and arms leaving only his torso attached to his head.

Kain saw how happy Flint was smiling, he shook his head and said, "I don't know what's happening in his head, but he seemed to be very happy. I didn't see him smile or speak since our battle had started. If my [Blissful Mirage] can grant him one last smile, then let it be. He is a God-tier Warrior, not God-tier Mage. He won't be able to use any type of magic to recover himself from this situation."

"What about his [Instant Recovery] ability? If he somehow escapes your [Blissful Mirage] and uses it again-"

"All God Warrior's abilities required at least one hand to activate. We already detached his arms. He won't be able to activate any ability again."

Normally Kain would have done everything he could to secure his victory. But when he heard Flint said, "Nambra, we will be together once again." Kain knew this God Warrior must have made some kind of deal with Watcher Zorim before agreeing to fight with him. Seeing how happy Flint's smile was, Kain didn't want it to stop. He wanted Flint to die in happiness while his [Blissful Mirage] spell was still affecting.

[Blissful Mirage] is another Devil Magic spell that Kain could cast after transforming into a Devil. This spell will trap a single enemy in his/her mind and grant him/her the illusion of achieving the happiness moment that they have dreamed of. The trapped person can only dispel the [Blissful Mirage] spell only if they realized that they have been trapped inside their mind. This spell can take effect on an enemy that possesses stronger Magical Resistance rates compared to the Devil's Magical Penetration rates that casted it. However, it required that the enemy be either heavily wounded or was too focused on something and lowered his/her guard at the most careless moment.

Ignored Kain's sympathy, Kimaris crushed Flint's face using his powerful punches regardless if Kain wanted him to or not. After making sure Flint's face was damaged beyond recovery, Kimaris chopped his head off then stared at Kain and said, "I don't know what happened today, but you being soft upset me very much. Being kind to your enemy is the same as killing yourself."

Kain wasn't happy to see Kimaris acted without his permission. But he knew Kimaris meant well and said, "You are right. I shouldn't be soft on an enemy."

Kain took a deep breath and yelled out loud, "I have won this battle. Watcher Zorim-"

Iris appeared in front of Kain, stopped his shouting, and said, "Enough. Watcher Zorim isn't here anymore. Kain Bersk, congratulations on completing this Timeless Dungeon. You can deactivate that [Devil Anatomy] spell and banish all Demon Lords along with their demon armies now."

Kain deactivated his [Devil Anatomy] form then turned to look at Kimaris and other Demon Lords to thank them for assisting him in this battle. After that, all demons and thirteen Demon Lords were teleported back to the Hell Realm per Kain's command.

Kain smiled and asked, “Beautiful Iris, what kind of reward-”

Iris transformed into Watcher Zorim and said, “As I have said before, there is no way you can win this match. Flint, revive yourself!”

A pink aura surrounded Flint as he slowly got up from the ground. That pink aura quickly healed all of Flint’s injuries including reattaching his fully recovered head to the torso, then reattached his arms and legs. Without saying a word, Flint withdrew his sword again and flew toward Kain to attack him. Kain couldn’t believe what just happened but he acted quickly by using his Ice Spear to parry Flint’s powerful sword slash. Just one attack and Kain could feel all of his body parts were tearing up inside. Kain immediately casted [Deflection] spell to deflect the next two sword slashes attack from Flint but by the third sword slash, it went through Kain’s [Deflection] and almost killed him if he didn’t cast [Haze Mode] spell on time.

Still struggling to survive against a mighty God-tier Warrior, Kain screamed in anger, “Bitch! You are a Watcher! How could you trick me like that!? Don’t you fear that The Creator will punish you for interfering in my fight like that?”

Watcher Zorim laughed and said, “I didn’t interfere with your battle with Flint. It was you who was stupid enough to mistake me for Iris. Also, why would The Creator punish me? I am one of the most powerful Watchers in all universes. Playing with a lowly Blood Mage such as you won’t bring me any problem especially when it happened in this Timeless Dungeon.”

Kain was mad because not only Watcher Zorim somehow allowed Flint Duril to revive himself, but tricked Kain into deactivating his [Devil Anatomy] form and banished all Demon Lords along with their demon armies back to the Hell Realm. Because of the cooldown requirement, Kain couldn't activate the [Devil Anatomy] spell again for the next twenty-four hours. This put Kain at a very disadvantage against a God Warrior who was much stronger than him.

Flint shot a thousand magic crossbow bolts into Kain's body as soon as his five seconds in [Haze Mode] was over. Kain activated the [Demon Anatomy V] spell on time and chose a giant stone shield that required him to hold using two hands as his choice of weapon to block those magic bolts. Five seconds later, Kain’s shield was broken as over four hundred magic bolts penetrated through his body. That wasn’t enough to kill Kain, he quickly casted [Abyssal Flesh] to transform into a Flesh Flying Demon Monster to heal himself from all damages while granting him super strength much higher compared to regular Eleventh Stage Saint Warrior.

Kain quickly created a thundering scythe and a big stone shield as his choice of weapons since his [Demon Anatomy V] spell was still active. Kain then activated [Aura Adjustment] and chose an earthen aura as his selection to replace the useless fiery aura. Earthen aura can help Kain's big stone shield to better absorb physical damages from his enemy attacks while other auras were useless as they brought very little or no effect in defending against Flint's Magic Crossbow.

Kain and Flint resumed their battle with the absolute victory clearly shown to be on Flint's side. Despite that, Kain still put up a good fight, but the gap between him and Flint Duril was too huge. Kain felt like he was just an entry First Stage Saint Warrior fighting with a late Eleventh Stage Saint Warrior. That was how big the gap was between them. It didn't matter how hard Kain fought, which battle skills or tactics he used, Flint unconditionally dominated him in every way.

Not even fifteen minutes later, Kain’s [Abyssal Flesh] and [Demon Anatomy V] spells have drained all of his blood pools, as well as the mana pool forcing him to transform back to a Vampire Mutant. While flying in mid-air, Kain quickly put on the LYAUR he hid inside his Magical Robe then took out the Magical Diamond Ice Spear and struck it at Flint one last time using all the stamina he had left despite knowing there was no way near enough to overcome Flint's power. As expected, Flint’s sword and Kain’s Ice Spear collided but only one weapon could maintain its advancing speed while the other weapon was broken to pieces because its Soul-Bound Master’s lifeforce had reached the edge of depletion.
