Book 2: Chapter 12 (8/12)

While Flint was parrying Kain's attacks using the sword on his left hand, his right hand didn't stop shooting magic crossbow bolts into the Demon Lords and their demon armies to keep them from being able to get closer to him. Over an hour later, Kain noticed Flint's right hand was starting to bleed and his speed of using the crossbow had slightly reduced. Kain thought his opportunity had arrived but Flint activated [Instant Recovery] ability again to heal the injured right hand as well as fully recovered his stamina pool. After parrying over a hundred powerful attacks from Kain, Flint used the right knee to attack and managed to push Kain back six meters before lunging toward him slashing his sword at full force. Kain used the handle of his battle-ax to block Flint's sword slash and it pushed him back another six meters.

Kain thought, "Not only his speed is incredible, but his strength isn't weaker than mine."

Kimaris and other Demon Lords finally managed to get closer to Flint again and started attacking him using everything they got.

Kain looked around and saw there were many demons still alive, he continued to think, "How about [Freezing Cataclysm] spell? No, it may end up killing many demons while not guaranteed to be able to freeze the God Warrior. That God Warrior's Magical Resistance rates are definitely strong enough to be immune to it. Looks like [Enfeeble] is the only way."

[Freezing Cataclysm] is another Devil Magic spell that Kain can cast after transforming into a Devil using [Devil Anatomy] spell. This spell will create a cataclysm of up to ten thousand feet high within a five hundred thousand square feet radius. The cataclysm will instantly freeze everything it touched except on the Devil who casted it.

Thinking so, Kain immediately casted [Enfeeble] spell on Flint. [Enfeeble] is another Devil Magic spell that Kain can cast. [Enfeeble] can greatly weaken an enemy for as long as the Devil who casted it can continue focus while infusing mana into it to keep that spell working. Kain was pleased to see [Enfeeble] caused some effect on Flint such as tremendously reducing his speed and strength while causing Flint's right hand to bleed again. It seems like Flint didn't (or couldn't) activate another [Instant Recovery] ability.

Kain shouted, "Now! Kill-"

Kain couldn't finish what he was about to shout out because he saw at least five hundred magic bolts were flying toward him. Flint felt that his body was getting weaker while he couldn't activate any ability which turned his focus back on Kain instead of fighting with the Demon Lords. Flint allowed himself to get injured by letting the Demon Lords successfully land their attacks on him while he shoots his Magic Crossbow toward Kain.

Iviss appeared in front of Kain and used her big shield to defend him. Because Flint's speed and strength were tremendously reduced, the effect on his Magic Crossbow was affected as well. Just like what Iviss had expected, her shield was broken after blocking about a hundred bolts. She could have dodged the other four hundred bolts from penetrating through her body. But if she does that, Kain may not have enough time to avoid it since he had to focus on maintaining [Enfeeble] on Flint for his Demon Lords to attack or that spell would lose its effect and Flint can instantly heal himself again while Kain wasted a chunk of his mana without gaining the advantage.

Because Iviss used her body as a shield, Kain successfully dodged those bolts without breaking his focus on maintaining [Enfeeble]. Kain said, "Iviss, thank you."

Iviss smiled and said, "My Lord, I'm sorry for being too weak." After that, Iviss's life force reached depletion as she was forced to transform back into a knife. But the knife appeared to be broken into two pieces and failed on the ground like any regular broken steel knife.

Twenty minutes later. All of Kain's blood pools including his mana pool had reached depletion. Kain was forced to deactivate [Devil Anatomy] spell to transform back into his Vampire Mutant form. Even so, the thirteen Demon Lords and their demon armies didn't disappear because they walked through the opened Hell Gates, not through summoning magic spells. Despite knowing what would happen next, Kain was pleased to see the Demon Lords and demon armies didn't get teleported back to Hell Realm.

Flint was heavily injured and he couldn't use the Magic Crossbow anymore as his right hand was chopped off by Crocell while his face was badly injured by Kimaris. Kain could feel his victory was within grasp but Flint suddenly opened his eyes widely, releasing a powerful explosion aura to push back Kimaris and other Demon Lords. Flint then flew toward Kain using an ultra-fast speed, almost as fast as Finwe when he used his [Thunder Step] spell.

Still hasn't said a word since the battle started, Flint activated [Instant Recovery] once again to heal himself from all injuries while slashing his sword at full force onto Kain's head. This was the last [Instant Recovery] that Flint could use. Even so, his quest was to kill Kain then this battle would be over.

Kain took out his Magical Diamond Ice Spear on time to block Flint's attack. But Kain was not powerful enough as Flint's sword broke through the Ice Spear and chopped Kain from head to stomach and into two pieces.

Knowing there was no way Kain could revive himself using [Second Life] Conjuration Magic spell since his Conjuration Magic was banned by Watcher Zorim for this match. Flint turned to look at the Demon Lords and their demon armies as he said, "He is dead. Soon, you all will be gone. This battle is over. I have won."

Flint was right. Even though the Demon Lords and their demon armies weren't summoned but walked through the opened Hell Gates, they will still be forced to teleport back to the Hell Realm if the Devil opened the Hell Gates was killed. Even if the battle continues, Flint was confident that he can kill them all even though his [Instant Recover] ability can't be activated again for the next twenty-four hours. Despite that, he can still use [Self Recovery] ability once every hour to slowly heal his injuries. As long as Flint doesn't receive any kind of major injury, there will be no way he can lose this battle.

Most God-tier Warriors can use [Instant Recovery] ability once a day while most can only use [Self Recovery] abilities to slowly heal their injuries once every hour. Flint was special because Watcher Zorim granted him the power to activate [Instant Recovery] ability three times every twenty-four hours. Because of this, even a God Warrior who had lived in higher realms for over a million years wouldn't be able to defeat Flint despite him being labeled as a freshly new God Warrior by Watcher Zorim.

Flint finally smiled, sighed out heavily, and whispered to himself, "Nambra, we will be together once again."
