Chapter 806 - Fancy Food And Cakes

Today, Lisa decided to use all of her cooking knowledge. She put all her energy into cooking all the food that William and Oscar liked. She also made a large birthday cake and stacked it in two.

The birthday cake was topped with strawberry jam that made a heart pattern. In the middle was the words, 'Happy 6th Birthday William'.

Lisa's sweat was pouring out and she knew that her appearance was far from perfect. However, seeing the dining table filled with her cooking and the birthday cake that she made herself, her heart was relieved. All of her tiredness instantly disappeared.

Not long after Lisa finished setting the dining table, she heard the doorbell ring. Since Mrs. Rusminah was busy washing the piled up cooking utensils, it was Lisa who decided to go and see the guests who suddenly came.

A beautiful woman who seemed happy to wear a fiery red lipstick was standing in front of the entrance. In both hands she carried a large gift wrapped in sky blue paper. A wide smile immediately broke out on her face, adorning her lips.

"My dear, Lisa!" Chloe greeted excitedly, she kissed both of Lisa's cheeks in turn and said, "Finally, we meet again! I've missed you so much!"

Lisa opened the door wide and invited her in, "I've missed you too. How are you doing? Everything's good?" Lisa asked casually.

"Ah, well… that's it. My job is boring and tiring! I prefer to relax at home and watch TV all day. But no! The money in my savings won't fill itself up without hard work, honey." Chloe replied as she tried to take off her high heels with one hand. "Am I late?"

"Let me bring it." Lisa said when she saw Chloe struggling to take off her high heels with one hand, "You aren't late. I just finished cooking and making a birthday cake."

"Good grief! You made a birthday cake by yourself?" Chloe asked, looking surprised, "What a dream wife! Now I know why Oscar is so crazy about you."

Either it's because of Chloe's voice that was loud enough or that William was hungry that the boy suddenly came out of the room.

"Oh…! Auntie is here!"

"My dear William!" Chloe replied as excitedly as William. "I haven't seen my favorite nephew in a long time! You must really miss me, huh?"

As has been said many times before, today was the happiest day William had ever lived since he attended boarding school. Being with people who loved him made William feel so happy that he wanted to scream with joy.

Today is the most special birthday William has ever had. Besides being able to celebrate his birthday with Oscar and Lisa, he can also celebrate his birthday with Chloe! That means the gifts he will receive will add even more!

William couldn't lie. A feeling of pleasure filled his chest as he saw Chloe bring him two large boxes that were none other than his birthday present.

"I really miss you!" William replied passionately.

In the middle of their lunch, Chloe's cell phone suddenly rang. There was a small problem in her office that made the woman couldn't help but get up from her chair and take the incoming call for a while.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Chloe said after she finished receiving the incoming call. Her face looked guilty and her lips were pursed, "I have to go because there's a problem at work..."

"It's okay, Auntie. We can meet again later!" William replied.

Chloe walked over to the chair next to Lisa and grabbed her tote bag. "I am sorry. I'll find another time to hang out with you guys again later! Anyway, we should meet and gather again like this!"

Lisa nodded her head, "Hurry back to the office. Looks like they need you."

Before Chloe left the dining table area and returned to the office again, the beautiful woman walked over to William's dining chair. She kissed the boy's chubby cheeks sweetly and said, "Happy birthday, William! I'll see you later, okay?"

"Yes, Auntie."

Now, William's birthday would only be celebrated by Oscar and Lisa. The lovers sat on the dining table chairs while listening to William's chatter that didn't show any sign to stop soon. He always had something to tell her. Starting from his fierce math teacher who punished him because he couldn't count 8 plus 6, or how he got too little sleep at the dorm.

Suddenly William said, "Mom, Papa…"

"Yes, honey?" Lisa asked as she returned to filling William's plate with the boy's favorite food.

At first, William wanted to say the problem that couldn't stop filling his mind ever since he sat on Lisa's lap in the car. But he did not have the courage to say what was in his mind and heart. But now, in the middle of their lunch, William suddenly had the courage.

"Can I not go back to school? I want to sleep and stay here for the next few days."

Hearing that made Lisa raise her eyebrows, "Why all of a sudden? Don't tell me you're too lazy to go to school?"

William shook his head and the boy's face turned gloomy.

Seeing the look on William's face made Lisa think that there was something wrong with the boy. She glanced at Oscar and asked the man to continue with the question that she really wanted to ask.

"William, don't you like going to school there? Is your classmate bothering you? Or did any teacher treat you badly?" Oscar asked.

Again, William shook his head slowly with the gloomy look on his face.

Lisa felt her chest tightened even more when she saw the sad look on the boy's face during his birthday. Her hunch seemed to tell her that there was a problem with the boy with the chubby cheeks. Her hand automatically touched the back of William's palm as she asked again.

"Then why don't you want to go back to school?" Lisa asked quietly, her eyes busy exploring William's tiny face, "Tell me, let me know how you feel."

William pursed his lower lip and replied, "During my time at boarding school, I rarely saw you.. It's better for me not to go to school than having to be separated from you and Papa again."
