Hearing the young man's voice brought Oscar to his senses. He looked back and saw several heads sticking out of the car window. Their faces looked uneasy and maybe, if Oscar didn't hurry up, they would get out of the car and kill him ruthlessly.

At the same time, the traffic light turned green. Without wasting any more time, Oscar stepped on the gas quickly. The young man grunted in annoyance but quickly got back into his car and also stepped on the gas.

"You doubt me?!" Oscar continued after a long silence. The man turned his head for a moment and looked at Lisa in disbelief. "Are you serious? How dare you doubt me! How many times have I told you that there is only you in my heart! And nobody else!"

Hearing his voice getting louder and louder, Lisa turned her head, showing a displeased expression. "Can you just talk normally? You don't have to scream like that!"

"How can I not get mad when you doubt me?"

Lisa rolled her eyes, "Like I said earlier, shouldn't I be afraid that you will turn away from me one day?"

After those words left her lips, the fear in Lisa's heart grew bigger. She turned her head and looked ahead, ignoring Oscar's gaze.

What she said earlier was her greatest fear. According to her, it is okay for her to lose her job or even the money in her savings account. If that happened, she would be fine. After all, money and work can still be found.

But not Oscar or William. Lisa doesn't know what will happen to her if she loses the two most important people in her life. She lost them both once, and she didn't want it to happen again.

"I mean, I don't want our relationship to be discovered by other people in the near future. I just want them to know that I will be yours the next time we get married." Lisa stroked her arm which was starting to feel cold even though she was wearing a coat. "Can you understand what I mean?"

Oscar continued to step on the gas without making a sound. His jaw was clenched and from the side, only Lisa could still see the wrinkles on the man's forehead. The car's speed was still above average, which made Lisa more and more annoyed as time went on.

She deliberately took a deep breath and leaned her head against the back of the chair. The atmosphere in the car was tense, as if they were in a meeting with company leaders debating for deals. The atmosphere was so tense that Lisa found it hard to breathe.

A few minutes later, she suddenly shouted, "Stop, pull over!"

Again, Oscar acted like a person who could not hear. The man thought Lisa's words were like last summer's wind. He continued to drive and stared at the road ahead, without giving Lisa the slightest attention.

Seeing Oscar continue to ignore her and disobey her orders irritated Lisa a lot! The woman unbuckled her seat belt and touched the steering wheel. Without thinking, she forced Oscar to swerve to the left.

"I said, let me out now!"

Panic immediately filled Oscar's body as his car nearly hit a speeding vehicle. The man immediately took over the wheel, followed Lisa's request, and hit the brakes quickly. Oscar turned his head, pulled Lisa's wrist off the steering wheel and shouted.

"What were you thinking about!? Do you want us to die in an accident?"

"It's your own fault for not listening to my order!" Lisa grumbled annoyed, "If I said pull over, you should have done it immediately, and not pretending to be deaf!"

Before Lisa's hand could open the door, Oscar was already moving faster. The man locked all the doors and looked at Lisa with a gaze that radiated all kinds of feelings. Annoyed, confused, disbelieving, all mixed into one.

"Who said you can get in and out of my car as you please?" Oscar asked coldly, "We're not done talking!"

"Wow, you are crazy," Lisa whispered to herself, "Who told you to pick me up? Huh? You yourself suddenly came and forced me to go home with you! I can take a taxi home every day, you don't need to pick me up like a child."

"Let me out now, dear Mr Oscar Petersson." Lisa sneered while looking at Oscar's eyeballs.

"You still want to come down?" Oscar's reply was no less cold than the temperature inside the car. "Don't expect you to get out of my sight now."

"You're crazy, Oscar! Unlock the door now or I'll call the police."

Without realizing it, perhaps because of her rage, the woman said those words harshly. She thought that putting on a tough face would make Oscar afraid of her and eventually obey her order. But what she thought was wrong.

The more Oscar looked at her coldly, the more Lisa's heart trembled uncontrollably. The woman wanted to hide in the tortoise shell so as not to have to look at the man's eyes that looked so cold.

Oscar suddenly sighed and leaned his head on the back of the seat, "Married, huh? You only wanted to admit that I am your lover after we got married, huh?"

At that time, Lisa's brain could not work quickly. She looked at Oscar with a confused look, exactly the way she had seen him earlier. "What?"

"So what?" Oscar turned his head while still leaning his head on the back of the seat, "Is it true that when people fall in love, they shouldn't tell the whole world that they are in love? Why do we have to keep our relationship a secret?"

"How many times do I need to tell you that I want you to be my life partner forever? Why are you doubting me? There is only you in my heart!" Oscar touched his chest, "There is only you."

Lisa blinked a few times, dumbfounded at his words. "All your life? You want me to be by your side forever?"

Hearing Lisa's stupid question made Oscar want to cry but also burst out laughing. He didn't know what else to do to let her know that she was the one he wanted.

"I'm a grown man for god's sake, and you are no longer a child who needs to be picked up from the office.. But why don't you know that I want you in my life forever?" Oscar whispered softly.
