Yang Chen was inside the helicopter with the Vairocana Dharma Body in his hand. He was looking out the window as he was making his way home.

Yang Chen then looked at the golden statue and thought, 'Although this thing might be able to use the powers of Ancient Buddhas, I can sense that it has limits and requirements to be able to use it. Maybe Jane can look more deeply into this because as of now this thing is useless to me.'

Yang Chen then slapped his forehead as he suddenly recalled something important.

'How could I forget something like that?!' Yang Chen thought.

He looked toward the pilot and said, "Hey, I have something important to take care of so I'll be leaving now. Take the artifact back to the treasury."

"Understood, Sir." The pilot said respectfully.

Yang Chen then teleported to Australia, somewhere near the seaside.

Yang Chen looked around and could see many tents and armored vehicles. From the outside point of view, it looked just like a base.

This base belonged to a mercenary team that smuggled expensive artifacts from China as most of the tents here were filled with them.

How could they smuggle here without anyone knowing? Well, this part of Australia was a dead land that could not function for humans to live in so this was the perfect place to do illegal activity.

Yang Chen can also see the cargo sh.i.p.s on the docks. It looked like they were planning to smuggle them out of here and sell them in the black market.

Yang Chen then tried to sense for an object that he was looking for. It didn't take him long before he found it. He then teleported inside the tent that had this object.

There was no one inside so Yang Chen walked toward the biggest box inside the tent and opened it.

What revealed was a bronze cauldron with carved patterns that were fine as silk. It was quite rusted but wasn't damaged in the slightest. It also gave off a strange feeling as you got near it.

The True Qi was instantly gobbled up just like a person who had found a puddle of water after suffering from massive dehydration.

Suddenly the cauldron started shaking in excitement and a black mist started forming around it. The mist then made its way slowly to Yang Chen.

The black mist started circulating all around his body like it was inspecting him. It then intensified as it just found something that it craved.

The black mist then entered Yang Chen's dantian at high-speed.

Yang Chen just let it happen since this is what he was searching for. He then closed his eyes and entered inside his own dantian.

Yang Chen opened his eyes and his surroundings changed. There was a blue sky with parting clouds as it reflected off the ocean that seemed to never end. The sky, the water seemed to be endless.

Yang Chen then looked over to the cauldron that was floating in mid-air.

The cauldron shook as it had a feeling it was being watched. The furnace then opened its hatch and a pair of blood-red eyes could be seen through it.

"Human, you have some tasty spiritual energy in here." The thing inside the cauldron spoke with a deep intimidating voice.

Yang Chen looked straight at its eyes and wasn't intimidated one bit.

"Come out of there." Yang Chen said with a bored expression.

The thing laughed, "Human, shouldn't you be afraid. Well, it doesn't matter so I'll grant you your wish."

The cauldron started expanding almost as big as a house and something started walking out. The steps we're loud and the cauldron trembled alongside it.

When it was out, Yang Chen can finally see that it had fleshy wings, a grey beast-like appearance, and was standing on four legs. Its face was blurred but you could see it's sharp teeth through it. It seemed to be grinning toward Yang Chen.

"Afraid now human?" The beast asked.

Yang Chen raised an eyebrow, "Afraid? But you just look like a big cat."

The beast was instantly enraged.

"Lowly human! You are in the presence of a divine being!"

Yang Chen rolled his eyes, "Yeah, Yeah whatever."

"Human, what if I can tell you that I can offer you an opportunity to become invincible under the heavens?" The beast asked.

"Invincible?" Yang Chen showed a thoughtful expression.

The beast's grin grew wider, "Yes. You're in luck that we happened to cross paths. I am one of the four great divine beasts from the Ancient Era. I once ruled over this world and devoured everything in my way. Immortals feared me and my name."

The beast couldn't help but say these last words in pride and arrogance.

Yang Chen showed an expression of awe before realization hit him.

"Wait, then how come you are inside this cauldron then."

The beast showed an angry expression and sneered, "I had just finished a tough battle with another divine beast when those immortals launched a sneak attack toward me. They had attacked me when I was at my weakest. Unfortunately, they destroyed my body but they weren't strong enough to erase my soul so they sealed me inside that cauldron."

The beast then looked at Yang Chen and said, "I can see you have reached the Soul Formation Stage. If you take up my opportunity then you could become unparalleled in this universe."

Yang Chen had an expression of greed on his face and said, "I like the sound of that. What do you need me to do?"

The beast grinned and thought 'Humans will always be greedy no matter what time period you're on.'

"All you need to do is let me take over your body and I will devour all living things with my soul. Breaking through the Supreme or even the Jade Purity Divine Thunder Tribulations will be inevitable with my help. And then, one day you will reach the Ancient Immortal Stage just like I once did."

Yang Chen nodded, "Alright that can be done, but..."

"But..." The beast raised an ear.

Yang Chen smiled, "But...How can you do all that if you're dead?"

The beast laughed.

"Human, stop playing..."

But before he could continue, golden ripples appeared all around the beast's body and out came golden chains that bounded him, preventing him from moving.

The beast roared in pain as the chains started to get tighter.

"What is this?! Speak!" The beast shouted.

Yang Chen didn't bother replying to his question and said, "How stupid. Like I would ever let you take over my body."

The beast was outraged and release another painful roar as the chains kept getting tighter.

"You're too loud." Yang Chen said before more golden ripples appeared and fired countless weapons with tremendous speed toward the beast.

The beast was pierced from all sides and died instantly.

The weapons that were stuck on his body had disappeared but the chains stayed and were holding up the corpse.

Yang Chen was looking at the corpse with an indifferent face before he said one word that would cause anyone to have a chill go up to their spine if they heard it.

"Arise."

Suddenly the corpse that was being held by the chains twitched. Its body started to change as it turned all black and its eyes were glowing blue.

Yang Chen then made the chains disappear and the beast kneeled in front of him as soon as he landed on the ground.

"Can you talk?" Yang Chen asked.

"Yes." The beast replied but its voice had totally changed. It now sounded distorted.

"I see."

"My King...please bestow upon me a name..."

Yang Chen gave a thoughtful expression before he asked, "What was your name before?"

"Chaos." The beast replied with his head lowered.

"Then you will keep that name." Yang Chen said.

"Thank you very much...for letting me keep my name...Master." Chaos replied.

"Alright. By the way, can you change your size?" Yang Chen asked.

Chaos nodded and changed his size. He was now the same size as a regular dog.

"Good. Now stay in my shadow and let's go."

Chaos nodded before he disappeared and entered Yang Chen's shadow.

Yang Chen didn't have anything else to do so he left his dantian. He was now back at the tent and in front of him was the cauldron he was looking at before.

'Hmm, no time has passed...sweet.' Yang Chen thought. He then put the cauldron inside his space dimension and teleported back to his house.

(AN: So...Yang Chen has a new pet.)
