The members of Blue Storm looked at each other and decided on their next course of action. Blue Storm didn't have people that can cultivate but they did have espers with certain sets of abilities.

One member rushed toward Yang Chen as blue lightning surrounded him.

"Take my Electric magnetic field!"

The member of Blue Storm was grinning viciously as he stared straight at Yang Chen but suddenly his vision completely changed direction. He was now looking up at the ceiling so he became confused until everything turned dark for him.

*Thud*

The sound of a headless corpse had fallen to the ground. Everybody else watching this felt their stomach turn as they looked over at the head that had rolled a few meters away. His eyes were still open and his face showed confusion. He didn't even know how he died.

The Blue Storm members held in their d.e.s.i.r.e to throw up and became confused as well.

What just happened?

That question was inside everybody's mind at this moment.

Yang Chen looked indifferently at the headless corpse before turning toward the rest of the Blue Storm members.

The thing that happened was that Yang Chen had sent over a blade made of wind so fast that nobody could've been able to see it. He then severed his head from his body.

The Blue Storm member started to feel fear once again when they saw Yang Chen turn toward them. They somehow knew he was responsible for their comrade's death.

Yang Chen was looking over at Broken Blade before he vanished from his spot and appeared right in front of him.

Broken Blade didn't even have time to react before a hand grasped his neck and started to lift him up. He started squirming around in order to free himself but it was all for naught. The grip was just too strong for him to break loose.

The rest of Blue Storm froze when they saw Yang Chen vanish and appear right in front of Broken Blade instantaneously. Fear was becoming more prominent on each of their faces as they watched Yang Chen strangle him.

Yang Chen loosened his grip a bit in order to let Broken Blade breathe. He still wanted to know where the artifact was at so he was going to ask him.

"Tell me where that golden statue is at or I'll snap your neck. You got three seconds."

Broken Blade had already pissed his pants and couldn't utter a word.

"3."

Broken Blade didn't even have to think about wanting to stay loyal to his comrades so he motioned with his eyes toward the monk that was trying to make himself look small.

Yang Chen smiled, "Thanks."

Yang Chen dropped the now dead corpse on the floor.

*Thud*

Yang Chen then looked over at the monk and when they met eye to eye, the monk was scared shitless. Yang Chen then started walking towards him but the monk didn't want to receive the same fate as the others so he quickly took out the golden statue from his sash and offered it at him.

"Here, just please don't kill me!" The monk begged.

Yang Chen took the golden statue and when he touched it, he felt a strange energy coursing through it.

'It's legit.' Yang Chen thought.

Leaf who had watched Broken Blade die and saw the bag full of medical supplies fall from his hand, rush to them in order to save Abbess Yun Miao.

When Leaf got the medical bag, she rushed toward Abbess and used a needle on her that contained the antidote.

"I'll take it from here." Leaf said to Hui Lin.

Hui Lin nodded with a worried face as she looked over at Abbess. Her hands were covered in her master's blood, but all she wanted was to see her get better.

Leaf quickly started to work and cleaned her wound before she started stitching her wound in order to close it. Lucky for them she had stopped the blood loss or it would've been serious trouble.

Hui Lin seeing her master regained some color in her face, released happy tears as she held her hand.

Abbess was still in pain but she was now stable. She then looked over at Hui Lin and smiled gently.

Yang Chen who wasn't even paying attention to their intense moment looked over at the rest of Blue Storms.

They became afraid before Judy thought of something and forcefully suppressed her fears. She then took out a small ball-shaped object. It was smooth, bright, and looked like a crystal. From far, it looked just like a bubble in water.

Judy then showed it to Yang Chen and said, "I have this."

Yang Chen looked at the crystal ball for a second.

"So?"

Judy was lost for words.

"Isn't this...a protective talisman from Aphrodite, one of the 12 gods of Olympus?" Judy asked nervously.

"It is." Yang Chen answered casually.

Judy became elated and said quickly, "Then can you let us go free in exchange for this?!"

"Nope." Yang Chen replied, crushing Judy's and everybody else's hope.

"W-Why?!" Judy asked fearfully.

Yang Chen had a bored expression and said, "I couldn't care less about this protective talisman or any of the other gods."

Judy widened her eyes but before she was able to say anything, she suddenly fell on the ground and so did every one of Blue Storm as well.

*Thud, Thud, Thud...*

All the members and the monk had died as their organs were ruptured from Yang Chen's True Qi.

Yang Chen had an indifferent face before he picked up the small crystal that fell on the floor and crushed it with his index finger and thumb.

The people from the Yellow Flame Iron Brigade looked at Yang Chen with a fearful look at how merciless he was.

Hui Lin looked at Yang Chen curiously. She felt thankful that he had come here in time and helped in saving her master. She then looked over to Leaf and gave a grateful smile.

"Thank you."

"It's nothing but it was also because of him that I managed to get the medical supplies." Leaf said as she looked toward Yang Chen.

Lin Hui nodded before she looked over to her master who was trying to get up.

"Master?! Please don't get up, you're still recovering!" Lin Hui said with concern as she was supporting her.

Abbess looked over at Yang Chen albeit with difficulty.

"How do you...know the Endless Resolve Restoration Technique?!" Abbess said with struggle.

"Woman, I don't have to tell you anything?" Yang Chen replied.

"Do you know...someone by the name of...Song Tianxing?" Abbess asked as she stared right at his eyes.

Yang Chen looked at her for a couple of seconds and said, "Never heard of him." He then turned around and started leaving the temple.

Abbess bit her lip. Hui Lin who was listening to them had a confused face. She then looked at Yang Chen's back as he was leaving.

"Wait were are you going?!" Sky Dragon shouted at Yang Chen.

Yang Chen ignored him and continued leaving the place.

"That golden statue belongs to us, bring that back! The general will not like this!" Sky Dragon shouted once more.

Yang Chen stopped his tracks and turned around to face Sky Dragon.

Sky Dragon smiled arrogantly as he thought Yang Chen was afraid.

"Good. Now hand over..."

But before he could continue saying anything, Yang Chen suddenly appeared in front of him.

Sky Dragon was shocked.

"You're annoying. I guess you didn't learn last time." Yang Chen said indifferently before he sent his True Qi to cripple his cultivation.

Sky Dragon felt sudden pain all over his body as a part of him was just destroyed. He then fell on the ground and started screaming in agony.

"I'll be taking this so tell you're general that I don't work for him and never will." Yang Chen said as he motioned toward the artifact in his hand. He then turned around and left the temple.

The rest of the group were shocked before Leaf rushed toward Sky Dragon in order to treat him. It was too bad that she wouldn't be able to help with this problem since he was now crippled for life.

Yang Chen was outside and signaled the helicopter that had been on stand by the whole time.

The sniper from earlier watched from his scope when Yang Chen had come out of the temple. He then looked at the item he had in his hand and became shocked. He knew what this item was so he didn't waste any time and positioned himself to fire the shot.

Just as the sniper was about to shoot, Yang Chen had turned his head to look at him.

The sniper flinched and said with fear evident in his voice, "D-Did he just...look at me from that far." He then shook his head and got rid of the idea.

"It's not possible." He then looked through scope once more but became confused when he couldn't spot Yang Chen anywhere.

Suddenly he heard a voice from behind him that made his legs go soft.

"What's not possible?" Yang Chen asked as he had teleported behind him.

The sniper slowly turned his head around only to see Yang Chen smiling.

That was the last thing he ever saw before he died that night.
