Chapter 34 - Fight For Life and Honour

This is a Special and Long chapter

well this is an unexpected turn of events Ryjin was marching to the meeting point to meet the 2 southern Lords however it would seem they have Made there stance Clear This could get really Really Bad.

as it stand's the Entire Southern Realm Combined army is now Surrounding Ryjin and his army now you would think Why is this bad well its cause The enemy outnumbers him at minimum 10 to 1 yet he also has no cav in this battle as Glen rode on further south to raid there lands so we will have to relie on Brute Force and I believe my Men can win I believe in Wallace and Robert and all the men here.

But Ryjin remembers something simaler from before he died on earth he had read a manga about the Qin's rise and remembered a formation that they used when the enemy was Vastly Larger than them whats more is he has archers and he Thinks they did not have any but the formation is solid plus he has the chosen warriors so Ryjin has Robert take command of the Praetorian's and Wallace the chosen warriors so the so the front has 4 Legions of Praetorian's and the left and right also have 3 legions of Praetorian's essentially making a box without a bottom then Ryjin Orders 1 Long Yari Ashigaru at each Inner corner with orders if any enemy cav are seen coming you are to Hurry behind the Praetorian's and use your Long yari's to halt there cav or wipe it compleatly.

he had the last 2 long yari at the Open back on the left and right in yari wall to make sure no flanks could enter the Box formation from behind his Dunedin Snipers where set 3 legions behind the First Praetorian's wall and also 3 legions behind the left and rights walls however it was the open back that was the best they left it open with 6 Legions of chosen warriors Not in shield wall formation so the enemy can be lured in with sense of victory However Wallace shall be leading 4 Chosen legions and his own Highlander units to charge the back enemy front lines this is a head on charge but Wallace was the 1 who said to do it and rarely has Wallace ever gave suggestions and Ryjin knew Wallace is a General and a Great hero dismissing his advice would be akin to Lopping off ya own leg.

Ryjin was in the centre of his army Sat atop Deathclaw who the enemy had now clearly seen and half became terrified witch was good with Deathclaw Ryjin hopes to go out the back of the formation and hit the back of the enemy troops as they clash with his Praetorian's Defensive Testudo's Ryjin Raised his New weapon and he also has some Very Hidden Cards he has yet to play (He grins as he cant wait ti scare the f.u.c.k out of the enemy) his new weapon is the hammer of galmaraz ( Belive i may be wrong on the name) he can buy items and ability's from the system that's from all the Total wars so he decided a while back to get some very powerful Hidden cards.

Ryjin Raised his Hammer and shouted But for some reason no one knew why his Voice was extremely loud even the enemy could clearly hear him as he raised his New Warhammer he said.

as he said the last word his army started to bang on there shields madly there was cursing towards the enemy there where Shouts all sorts was thrown out and around But the 1 thing that scared the enemy was there Resolve They where ready To die the shaking from the ground as there feet stamped and shields bashed.

Ryjin then Turned to Wallace direction as Wallace saw him Wallace just smirked and Raised his claymore and shouted at the top of his lungs CHARGEEEEEEEEEEEE Wallace charged forward alongside his 1k highland warriors with 2 legions of Chosen warriors on his left flank going backwards slightly and also his right flan in the arrow formation with this shout the entire Lands became Rigid as the enemy lords started shouting charge kill them that southern King however Did nothing he did not order his men in any way they stood there Ryjin Knew what he was doing he had riled up all the southern lords to attack me so that they combine there army's and attack me while attacking he will keep his army back while the lords lose there troops along with mine he is trying to take the entire south with this fight But that's if the lords can win witch i really doubt.

Wallace is charging towards the incoming enemy soldiers his Adrenalin as Pumping so much he is smiling waiting for the Fight and as the Troops got closer it was clear who was more Expert in every way and that was Wallace and his Highlander's there feared nothing and it showed on there face the front lines Hit as all you could hear was a Huge Thudding sound and then screams and M.o.a.ns and wails Ryjin was not even looking backwards he had full trust in Wallace with the back Force's battling the enemy at ryjin's front left and right also charged the ground was shaking as over 500k enemy soldiers where charging his Praetorian's lines the Dunedin Snipers where Firing Volly after volly the enemy just ran and stepped over there dead Friends and allies.

With this Ryjin petted Deathclaw and he just nuzzled on Ryjins hand and Ryjin said - well bud Lets have are first Fight together- Deathclaw just screeched Loud and Hard and he took off the ground as he fly's in the air Ryjin's aim right now more than anything is the enemy archers he must take them out and to do that He must use a hidden card of his He could not use this on the enemy troops charging his Praetorian's front line due to his own men may be killed along with the enemy

he was now flying near the enemy Front's archer line and he Placed his left hand forward and what looked like a white Light coming from his hand was shinning and his words fell.

and a Huge white Funnel like Vortex appeared on the battle as all the enemy archers below it seemed to be lifted off the ground by a foot then there blood and Body-liquids just burst out of them Leaving mass pools of blood and Gore as the Vortex moved erratically the enemy troops at the back where in a panic screaming about magic he is a magi a wizard a warlock all sorts of names came out the enemy lords saw this and became Terrified they had never seen magic before But now they where seeing it First hand.

Wallace was busy fighting and he heard the enemy screaming Magi and stuff for a brief moment he turned back to see a White Pillar like vortex Moving threw the enemy's back lines all you could hear where screams he could see Ryjin flying on his mount in the air Wallace did not have long before he was fighting again but in his mind even he was surprised the fighting went on for hours as ryjins Praetorian's had held firm out of the 10k there where still a good 7 to 8k his Dunedin snipers had lost around 3k due to enemy archers the Long yari had also gotten Kills in with there long Yari's they also lost around 1k.

The back however Ryjin had made sure that Wallace would not get stuck in enemy lines by having 2 Chosen legions Charging forward when it looked like the enemy was closing the huge gap Wallace and his men had made with that said By now all 10k Chosen warriors where Fighting the entire enemy line's behind Ryjins main Formation Robert was having a field day he was rotating the Praetorian's from Tired to fresh he was managing the whole front left and right Praetorian walls and doing a F.u.c.k.i.n.g amazing Job the Dunedin snipers where just Firing none stop there arrows where about dry tho and they took up there Swords and helped the Praetorian out by helping hold the defensive line's it was a Massive F.u.c.k Fight the likes Ryjin never thought he would see Deathclaw was covered in blood and wound's from fighting and landing and keep hitting the enemy back lines after the banishment spell Ryjin threw some Fire balls around and also used 1 he loved the Comet of Casandor.

as Ryjin looked back to see Wallace he saw Wallace was doing fine but his Right flank was starting to be over run so he flew over the back Right Long Yari ashigaru and ordered them to move out in yari wall and help Wallace's right wing Ryjin was actually hopeful now cause the enemy was losing to man men and was becoming disheartened an enemy lord had approached Wallace's position with his elite Guards where where at Wallace's highlanders Lvl and he had his guards engage Wallace's men as he himself charged Wallace Wallace caught off guard for a moment was Knocked over the enemy lord Swung what looked like a Pole arm axe Wallace had to roll out the way to his left and keept rolling till he was sure and got to his feet he saw his men Fighting what looked like elites and he saw the enemy lord He was wearing what looked like Plate armour and weilded a Long Pole arm axe and hammer.

( so think of a long metal pole around 4 foot long and the top has a Pointed spear het also has an Axe side and on the Back a Spiked Hammer)

Wallace was Now excited but also cautious that man was giving off a strong feel Wallace charged him the man Blocked his overhead strike as the lord Went to swipe Wallace on the left side of his head with the metal B.u.t.t of his pole But Wallace moved back and Lunged his Claymore forward and Grazed the lords plate armour the lord Took a guarding stance as Wallace kept his claymore ready and the lord Swung his axe side with all his strength Wallace ducked and rolled to the right The Lord's axe hit a Chosen and got embedded in his armour the lord unable to Pull it out in time as Wallace had taken this chance to swing for the Lords army the Lord let go of his Pole axe and Knew he could not win However he did not run He raised his Fist and his men disengaged and he Pulled his men back as the chosen broke off on to the Sides to attack the other enemy lords Wallace was stumped at that lord why did he retreat ??? Wallace went and Gripped the pole axe and handed it to a highlander and said take it back to the Formation Wallace then charged back in with the rest of his men Tired as he was but His side of the Battle was now Becoming a 1 sided slaughter as Wallace's side was winning -Little did Wallace knew that was due to the display of him fighting an enemy lord and winning it inspired the men and They regained there Fighting Vigor-

Ryjin saw the fight between Wallace and that lord and was amazed a lord who could fight Wallace on even ground was no ordinary man But now Ryjin could see his back lines where winning there fight He had to make sure the Main formation Held and was not broken Ryjin had been sending fireballs all over the battlefield he would use other magic but most of what he knew where Huge AOE or erratic moving spells and he did not want to kill his own men so Ryjin landed at the front of his formation swinging his Warhammer and deathclaw swiping enemy left and right and even biting there heads arms and legs off he believes that the enemy numbers from there initial 600k to 500k have gone down to around 230k however 80k of that is yet untouched as that is that kings army who still seems to be just watching and waiting However that Lord from earlier had started to Convince many lords to stop the attack and cease hostile actions he seems to have figured out what that slimy f.u.c.k.i.n.g king had done he had used all the southern lords as borrowed Knife's the Entire back lines had separated and Ryjin's chosen along with Wallace and whats left of his highlanders moved back to the back of there Main formation and got a long deserved Reprieve many of the other lords who survived now had banded with that 1 lord who seems different and they have pulled there force that now numbers 150k but they are batter'd and winded they set up a white flag outside there Combined camp that southern king had shifted his army to a nearby hill for defensive reasons Ryjin Robert and Wallace where reorganising the Legions back in to Full Strength.

Ryjin had many Dunedin snipers Comb the battlefield for arrows and also any Pilum's that can be salvaged and reused it was now Night time as Wallace and ryjin where currently Heading to the combined lords camp to talk seems they want terms and also want revenge on that Shitty King so Ryjin met them half way to there camp and they came the other half as makeshift tables and stuff had been arranged Ryjin sat down and so did Wallace as he was Literally Tired as f.u.c.k the lords approached there must of been around 30 or more but Wallace Perked up as he saw his opponent and smiled at him he was a man of around 35 years of age and had a very stoic face to him he sat at the head of the table for the lords and ryjin was at the other side.

Hello your majesty Ryjin De Dragon i am Lord Ash of the Fire-folk Family and i now represent all the lords here we wish for peace and for a cease in hostilities between all of us and your kingdom Ryjin instantly cut him off there will be No peace as long as you lords are not affiliated with my kingdom If you offer your self's as vassal's then there shall be no problem and all will be ended and you and your people shall enter a new Era of prosperity and peace however if you chose to remain as you are i can only see you as an enemy cause i intend to united this land and i will but having lords that have and can rule lands well is something that's needed in a kingdom witch is why i offer you to become vassal's and after this battle you can attain the noble ranks or barons Lord ash looks at ryjin for any hint of lies or deceit yet he saw none he saw resolve and determination the lords started discussing some where against it some agreed others where on the fence lord ash approached.

Ryjin nodded and agreed all where Tired he left them a warning

-Dont let your guard down that King still has his army and Fully fresh and ready for a fight he may attempt a night attack-

Ryjin and Wallace returned to there camp and Wallace just plonked on his bed and fell asleep ryjin went and sat next to deathclaw and was drifting off his camp was guarded and had guards posted all round so sleeping was a Good thing right now and he drifted off to sleep cuddled up under deathclaws wing.
