Chapter 19 - First Siege in his life

Ryjin was about ta give the order to begin but decided he wanted to make his First Siege Special so he only has a 100 or so wealth left but i knows it should be enough he looked threw the system for what he wanted and found it at a High Price of 80 wealth it was the Helm's deep Horn

he bought it and it appeared next to him mounted on a Carriage in a splendid style he turned to a legionary u there got on that carriage and Blow this horn as Loud and along as you can.

The legionary got on the Carriage and tuk a deep Breath and Blew the Horn as all threw-out the battle field herd it Loud and clear a Great horn and with that the assault began the defenders where extremely unnerved by the sound and strength of that Horn.

:Lord Thomas & His farther: both these men had heard the horn and was astonished at its strength and its sheer power and where to be honest with them self's Very excited after they herd the horn with Raised Swords the Siege was begun as both he and his farther gave the orders to attack.

:Ryjin: Was happy and he was also in love with that Horn now he was going to use that for every Siege starter from now on-with the east and west battles underway Ryjin ordered the Front Legionary's in to Testudo and to advance forward they where Following all the Siege towers the Towers them self 's held around 40 people all cl.u.s.tered up however the rangers on top in the archer platform could only have around 20 so they have adequate room to move and shift around if needed.

ready and waiting in each Siege tower was 20 Viking raid leaders and 20 Highland warriors

the rest of the rangers where split between all the legions to grant cover and to take out any potential Threatening enemy snipers.

Ryjin him self was in the centre Siege tower now Wallace was in the far left tower Eva was on ground with the rangers working as support the enemy arrows where hitting the Testudo Formations and making no headway at all the towers where half way to the walls even from the south battle field you could hear the east and west Battles going off even now.

The enemy saw the Towers Really close the rangers on top where having the time of there Life reaping lives left right and centre the enemy archers could do nothing to the Rangers on top of the tower they where to defended the defenders could here the Excited chants and shouts of Ryjins men in and round the towers ( Ohh Ohh Ohh Ohh Ohh ).

Lord Bren was at the south wall and seeing his men scared he shouted To keep fighting to raise the moral of his men but did not work cause as he shouted that the First siege tower had just Dropped its door open and Out Rushed 20 Viking Raid leaders and 20 Highland warriors and Ryjin.

The Viking raiders with the Dane axe's Charged out in blood frenzy and attacked rampantly The highland warriors Also charged in with there Great-swords they mowed down 2 ta 5 people a time the defending army saw this carnage from just 1 tower and where no Terrified.

:Ryjin: was at the door of the tower with his Shield out and spear ready he was holding the door till some legionary make there way up and enemy soldier made his way for Ryjin Ryjin just Parry'd with his shield to the left as his spear ran threw the guy he then Kicked the guy off his spear.

he noticed 4 legionary had made it up with alot more following he ordered them to start forming a small Testudo as more and more legionary Came up like a flood Ryjin then noticed the other towers had also landed and absolute Carnage was on the walls.

it was a 1 sided massacre the Troops with Ryjin had managed to make a Foothold of 20 feet long on the wall at each side was a wall of his Roman soldiers as his Highlanders and vikings where taking a breather due to there Initial Headlong charge.

by this time ryjin had killed well over 30 or so enemy soldiers he also was now able to see the other walls there was no foot hold like with his but his allies where making great Progress that was mainly due to the Siege towers.

the battering rams where at the gates as He could hear the Heavy Banging along with a full 1k Roman legion Right behind waiting to march in under testudo formation the Wolf Coat legions had the ladders and where propping them up on the area's of the wall they new where safe Others where running to get up the Towers to the battle.

Eva was alongside her rangers in a tower archer platform now she was also reaping lives now she now witnessed her First real war and battle and now knew this was just the beginning.
